All pictures of SCP-3278 become corrupted instantly after being taken.

Special containment procedures: SCP-3278 is located in room ████ on floor 2 of site-23. it appeared there after a power cut on 6/4/████ Any signs of movement should be written down. Any object that comes out of SCP-3278 should be kept in that room until it is confirmed that the object is safe to take from the room. most objects that don't disappear after a few hours are to be kept in nearby rooms.

Object description: SCP-3278 is a hole in the wall of room ████, approx. 30 inches tall and wide (can change size). Random objects seem to come out of the hole every 4-40 days. Most objects that come out of SCP-3278 disappear after 2-15 hours (some stay longer or just don't disappear)


List of some interesting events:

20/7/████,17:22: 1328 litres of sugar-free mountain dew. fully gone after 3 hours

2/9/████,00:05: Flash drive containing: Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, PNG image of an ice cube, PNG image of Dr.███████ (who was currently observing SCP-3278) and a file of unknown type named "Welcome back, Susan". gone after 3 hours.

15/12/████, 12:12: An old lady. (SCP-3278-1)

31/3/████, 19:36: An EMP blast which caused a small containment breach.

22/6/████, 20:00: A wall clock (SCP-3278-2) came out of the hole at a high speed, and hit the wall. Then, a nail (SCP-3270-3) came out and nailed SCP-3278-2 to the wall. SCP-3278-2 remains nailed to the wall to this day.

23/10/████, 10:08: Hydrogen filled the room and soon exploded, destroying the. (SCP-3278-2 was untouched by the explosion).

6/9/████, 4:56: SCP-3278 moved 2cm away from the wall. It floated like this for 2 years and 3 months after finally moving back onto the wall.

7/4/████, 22:43: a digital timer set to 12 minutes and 12 seconds. It flew back into SCP-3278 after it dropped to zero, almost taking Dr.██████ (who was holding the timer) with it.


SCP-3278-1 is an old lady (approx. 70 years old) who came out of SCP-3278 on 15/12/████. as soon as SCP-3278-1 came out of the hole, she began to knit. she still knits today and has already knitted approx. 2 km of scarf. employees cut smaller pieces off the scarf from time to time when they're feeling cold.

SCP-3278-2 is a clock, permanently nailed to the wall of the room that SCP-3278 is in by SCP-3278-3 (a screw made of pure iron).The clock displays the CEST time with a 2-minute delay.
