설명: SCP-4914는 여행비둘기(Ectopistes migratorius)와 유전적으로 가장 유사한 조류의 한 종이다. 생김새와 행동 양식 등이 매우 흡사하므로 그 둘을 육안으로 구별하는 것은 사실상 불가능하나, 두 부류 간 교배가 불가능하므로 다른 종임은 확실시된다.
Description: SCP-4194 are a bird species which genes are most similar to passenger pigeons (Ectopistes migratorius). Their appearance and habit make it almost impossible to separate the two species, but it is certain that they can be, due to mating impossibilities.

SCP-4914의 변칙은 대상이 인간을 인지하지 못한다는 데에서 나타난다. 이는 대상이 인간이라고 인지할 여지가 있는 모든 사물에까지 적용되는 것으로 추정되며, 따라서 대체로 인간의 사진/인간의 그림/마네킹 등도 이 효과의 영향을 받는다. 이러한 변칙의 유전적/인지적 작동 원리는 불명이다.
SCP-4194 are impossible in recognizing humans. It is estimated that this effect can be expanded to every human-like thing which they believe in, such as photos and pictures describing humans, mannequins, etc. It is unknown how these anomalies work under genetic/cognitive causes.

SCP-4914의 변칙은 야생 환경에서 대상의 생존에 지대한 악영향을 끼친 것으로 보인다. 당시 대상이 여행비둘기와 구별되지 않았으므로 그 멸종 시기를 추정하기는 어려우나, 추정상 1870년대 말, 즉 여행비둘기의 멸종에서 16년쯤 전이라는 설이 가장 유력하다.
Anomaly of SCP-4194 made them extremely hard to survive in wild life conditions. It is hard to estimate their extinct date for the fact that they were confused to passenger pigeons, but evidences suggest it may be the late 1870s, about 16 years before the extinction of passenger pigeons.

이런 바 현재 재단이 확보한 SCP-4914는 민간 연구소에서 여행비둘기를 유전적으로 부활시키는 계획이 성공하면서 곁다리로 부활한 개체들이다. 개체들은 처음에는 복제 과정에서의 결함으로 인한 유전 질환의 대상이라고 생각되었으나, 뇌 활성 영역 검사에서 인간의 인지만이 불가능함이 밝혀졌고 이에 재단이 개입하였다.
For that reason the SCP-4914 instances now contained by the Foundation are resurrected instances, by an experiment held by a civilian laboratory which aimed passenger pigeons. Instances were first thought to be some genetic disease patients by unknown flaw during copying, but their anomaly revealed during their brain active preserve test, resulting in the intervene of Foundation personal.

Addendum: In 2017/12/15, the following script was found at SCP-███ document history during Foundation database routine check. The script was severely rot in unknown reasons. Research to reveal the context between this script and SCP-4914 is ongoing.

Growth rate of SCP-███ is proportional by the human or human-like things (photos and pictures describing humans, mannequins, etc) they recognize, which is almost per [DATA ROT]. It means a flock in an urban area is deadly within a day. Instances are aware of this fact, so they actively search human beings.

Addendum The current growth rate of SCP-███ means a soon breach is ahead. To prevent this situation, [DATA ROT] is brought up, which means the idea '[DATA ROT]', part of the idea 'human' will be destroyed. It will cause a intentional IK-Class idea failure scenario.
