Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX has to be kept in a standard humanoid containment chamber. All surfaces that reflect more of 75% of its face have to be either replaced with a non-reflective surface or removed. At least three personnel or more can enter SCP-XXX's containment bi-weekly for cleaning and check for damage. SCP-XXX usually ignores the personnel but when approached, he will acknowledge their presence by trilling and continue the work he was doing. Short conversations with the SCP are allowed, but not preferred. Sharing class info is prohibited and sharing the said info serves a harsh disciplinary measure.
Since BB/BB/BBBB, a large bookshelf was installed which is filled with multiple crime genre books from different authors. Every day, SCP-XXX has to be given balanced meals five times a day, with 80% made of protein content (meat, fish and/or insects). Despite SCP-XXX is mostly carnivorous, it accepts human and plant based food, without any with some digestion problems or poisoning, usually not deadly. Including chocolate, grains, beans and fibers. For the love of God, do NOT give him beans. Last time someone did it, two of the caretakers had to be treated for gas inhalation!
On occasion, SCP-XXX can exit its containment and walk around the facility wing for an hour but only with special permission from atleast two (2) 05 Command and approved by The Administrator. Since its containment, SCP-XXX has breached only once. See Incident Report XXX-01
Description: SCP-XXX is a short male sapient humanoid with a resemblance of a common brown tabby longhair housecat (Felis silvestris forma catus), standing at approx. 150cm (4'11'') excluding ears and weighting 30kg (66.14lbs). Despite its weight, SCP-XXX doesn't show any signs of malnourishment and functions normally. Eyes are rectangular, hazel colored and non-expressive with feline pupils. Nasal bone is crooked and broad without a visible stop, giving him a profile of an oriental shorthair. Arms are the same length of his legs with longer forearms and a last pinkie finger digit on the right hand missing, thinking its been cut off. Most of the fur is shaved for "convenience" and distal region of his legs appears to be more dog-like than the rest of his body. Prefers to be called Micah but doesn't mind being called an SCP.
SCP-XXX is calm, quiet, apologetic and polite to a fault. Due to his non-expressive face, SCP-XXX mostly uses body language similar to dogs and cats, such as ears, hair, tail and voice. SCP-XXX is completely capable of human speech and is fluent in English and French. Whole jaw is partially made of cartilage, which on command, can extend out of his mouth cavity in a slingshot motion. But if held out for too long or extended too fast can cause "pain, bleeding and dry gums" according to Micah. When the jaw is dormant, a skin flap can be seen on his upper jaw, similar that of a goblin shark (Mitsukurina owstoni).
After the incident XXX-01, personnel discovered that Micah has catoptrophobia, causing him to become extremely violent towards the reflected surface after viewing more that 75% of his face. As of the incident, Micah is on therapy in an attempt to reduce his fear and aggression. As so far, small progression was made and viewing the mirror doesn't cause large and violent outbursts as before.
Recovery Report: SCP XXXX was recovered on BB/BB/BBBB in BBBBB, Canada, when researcher BBBB took a vacation in the city when she saw SCP-XXXX pulling a sled filled with logs and an axe. Researcher BBBB was greeted by SCP XXXX which sparked concern. When townspeople were questioned about it, they just shrugged and said its "normal" and continued with days work. She called the foundation where SCP XXXX was captured while townspeople were given Class-A amnestics or [REDACTED].
Incident Report XXX-01:
Date: BB/BB/BBBB
Location: Site-19
Researchers BBBB and BBBBB enter SCP-XXX's containment, not yet knowing about his fear and start questioning. During the questioning, SCP-XXX sees his own reflection in the one way mirror and freezes. Pupils started to dilate and fur on the neck starts rising. Low-pitch growling could be heard. In an attempt to snap him back into reality, SCP-XXX screams and starts charging at the mirrored surface. Researcher BBBBB tries to pin him down but with no avail. SCP-XXX slips out of the grip and attacks researcher BBBBB. Researcher was injured with heavy lacerations and bites to face and arms. The researcher was tested for rabies and tetanus and because of injuries, retired after 50+ years of work. SCP-XXX was after the incident successfully subdued and tranquilized after a minor containment breach, with no bigger casualties other than the researcher. After the incident, SCP-XXX was transferred to a temporary containment cell.
Transcript of Interview with SCP-XXX:
Interviewer: Dr. BBBB.
Foreword: This interview was taken day after the incident. SCP-XXX was found in its temporary containment sitting in a corner, tail wrapped around its leg and a facial expression similar of that of a submissive dog. That was the first time they've shown an expression that is not blank during their time in the containment.
SCP-XXX: -sigh- Its, for that incident?
Dr. BBBB: Yes, I came here to ask about what caused you to attack my colleague.
SCP-XXX: I don't like mirrors, it causes me to freeze in fear. And I just… attack
Dr. BBBB: So, you don't like mirrors?
SCP-XXX: Yes
Dr. BBBB: Why you didn't tell us then?
SCP-XXX: I thought you already saw me in that prison cell, how I'm avoiding the view of the mirror. Or that townspeople told you about it
Dr. BBBB: Well, that must be unfortunate, maybe they forgot about it?
SCP-XXX: Strange, most of the people there have a great memory. Anyways, I apologize for the attack, Is there a way to compensate?
Dr. BBBB: Um, -sighs- Don't cause trouble and don't injure anybody, and you will be fine.
SCP-XXX: Thank you.
Note from Dr.BBBBBBB: While going for a smoke break, I eavesdropped that he used to work with horses and guns. Perhaps MTF Alpha-9 (Last Hope) could take over him? And they say eavesdropping would cost my job
