D-5217 wakes up, then he hears an announcement, it is him, talking, he kicks at the large machine he is strapped too, and then he begins to cry, he was trapped like an animal at the zoo, he could hear his cry over the intercom, and then the machine whirled to life and a large steel press begin coming down to his leg, and as it crushes his bones, he lets out the biggest scream he has ever made, after the pain began to relieve itself the press moved up and D-5217 looks at his crushed leg, he felt where it cracked, and it broke his femur and hurt his throat. After D-5217 softly whimpers for help, he hears a large corrosive like noise coming from the floor, he feels the cube lift off the ground and into the air, the old man walks over to D-5217 and pulls him into his pocket dimension. He wakes up in a green, mucus-covered maze. His femur is bleeding and crawls down a path and begins to wrap up his leg with his Class D jumpsuit. He crawls down into a path to find himself in an old bathroom, he recognizes the bathroom, he finds a body on the ground and when he flips it over he notices the face, Nicholas Marlow, a man D-5217 killed, the reason he was in here, D-5217 finds two notes reading "LEFT IS SAVE" and "RIGHT DONT TRUST", as anyone would pick he picked the left, and finds himself in deep WWI pit, nobody around, he feels the ground, he still is in the old man's funhouse, D-5217 begins to look up, he notices a large bird type plane, with one eyeball on the bottom, staring at him. He crawls forward and then he is exhausted, he can barely move and the plane just makes him even more exhausted, he decides to rest under a wooden trench bridge and call it a day. He slept for a while, and then was suddenly woken up by gunfire and explosions he looks around noticing there were soldiers, he begins speaking to one, he receives no reply, and he begins crawling more, and then he falls on a floor again, he looks at himself, he notices his leg has been fixed, and he looks around, it looks like a hallway. Possibly the way out, as he opens the door he is greeted with a new maze with white bloodied walls. He walks down a path and finds two axes swing from side to side, he falls, and then realizes the old man broke his leg, just as the old man fixed it, as he falls the axe sweeps the top of his forehead barely clipping it, he can hear a loud, deep chuckle, he then begins to crawl towards the exit and to find himself in a large room, he was in his house, he then remembers his house was torn down in 1999 and realizes it is a trick, he walks around, saying "Hello?", he receives a deep chuckle and when he turns around the old man holds out his hands like he was about to embrace a old friend, D-5319 scrambles to the nearest wall, just to find the old man there, three readable words were written on his palm, "Hello, old friend" and as soon as he looks up the old man grips D-5319s sholders feeling the old man burn his skin, as the old man pulls him closer to him and in a full hug, D-5319 can feel his skin melt off his body, he looks at his hands and realizes he has no hands, D-5319 was then quickly comfortable, feeling his skin melt off his face and chest, D-5319 is released by the old man, finding two armed men swarm him, "We got 106 in his cube, preparing to deploy anchors." and then the old mans room began to sweel into that same old cube he was in originally, he is released from the machine as 106 retreats to the far left corner, he is debriefed and is sent to the medical bay for medical help.
