Item #: SCP-6230

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: [SCP-6230 is to be monitored at all times via ground and air based radar. If SCP-6230 is to come within 6 kilometers of any german made aircraft. Fighter aircraft based at RAF █████████ are to immediately engage SCP-6230. Fighter aircraft are to continue strafing the wreckage of SCP-6230 until SCP-6230-1 has reach at least 2000 kilometers away from SCP-6230. If SCP-6230 touched down on the ground for repairs, staff are allowed to enter its vicinity but are not allowed to interfere with any SCP-6230-1 instances.

Description: [SCP-6230 is a sentient entity resembling the form of a World War 1 Sopwith Camel air to air fighter aircraft. SCP-6230 is capable of extremely high speeds that would reach beyond the maximum limit of G-Forces capable for an aircraft of such type to withstand. SCP-6230 has been known to engage in air to air combat with any german made aircraft within a 6 kilometer vicinity regardless of age. SCP-6230 can stay in the air for an unlimited amount of time. SCP-6230 has been know to land on any airfield or airport nearby if any damage is received to the aircraft. Once the aircraft has touched down and moved to any open area at the airfield of airport a number of individuals (SCP 6230-1)wearing World War 1 aircraft maintenance uniforms ranging from 6 to 15 will materialize and begin to fix SCP-6230. If SCP-6230 is to crash 15 SCP-6230-1s will materialize and begin to fix the aircraft.

SCP-6230 will be reconstructed even when completely un-repairable for a modern aircraft in the same state. SCP-6230 takes an average time of 10-15 hours to be reconstructed if completely destroyed. If someone is to interrupt the repairs by interfering with any SCP-6230-1 three more SCP-6230-1 instances will materials and grab the person interfering by the arms and say the sentence "you are not permitted in this area please leave us to repair the aircraft" the three SCP-6230-1 instance will proceed to physically move whoever is interfering until they are 100 meters from SCP-6230 where they are released. If whoever is interfering is to return a second time they are taken by the arms and dragged 150 meters away from SCP-6230 and say the sentenced "if you interfere with such repairs in an unauthorized area you will be immediately shot.

If SCP-6230 is to come within 6 kilometers of any german made aircraft the german aircraft will be classified as SCP-6230-2. SCP-6230 will climb to an altitude 700-1000 meters above SCP-6230-2 and begin to dive down firing its twin synchronized Vickers machine guns. SCP-6230 will continue to fire at SCP-6230-2 until either SCP-6230 has crashed or SCP-6230-2 has crashed. If SCP-6230 is to crash it will continue to hunt down SCP-6230-2 once it has been repaired. SCP-6230 seems to have an immediate sense of where SCP-6230 if located as long as it is in a radius of 2000 kilometers from SCP-6230. SCP-6230 does not try to engage any aircraft of origin from any country of the allied powers.]

Incident 6230-A: [On ██/██/████ 3 kilometers off the coast of ████████ SCP-6230 entered within 6 kilometers of a DO-228 flight ████flown by the Dutch Coast guard. SCP-6230 immediately proceeded until 854 meters directly above flight ████ before diving down and commencing an attack run on the aircraft. Multiple shots were fired into flight ████ now classified as SCP-6230-2. Approximately 59 bullets were lodged into the engine and penetrating the fuel causing a large fire to form on the wing onboard SCP-6230-2's wing. After 4 minutes of flying SCP-6230-2 crashed into the english channel. 4 out of 9 crew members were rescued and given amnestic. SCP-6230 was shot down 13 minutes later. ]
