Special Containment Procedures: Five Foundation personnel, including one licensed psychologist specializing in child therapy, are to be kept on staff at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. At least one agent must be manning the Epcot monorail station during all operating hours. Additionally, personnel are instructed to search for any reports of missing children in or around a rail station.
Any humans found exiting SCP-XXXX-1 are to be detained and interviewed for information regarding SCP-XXXX before the administration of amnestics. The individuals will then be transported back to their homes by Foundation personnel, who will administer further amnestics to the individuals’ families. Research aimed to locate SCP-XXXX is ongoing.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a compound in an unknown location resembling a typical American summer youth camp. SCP-XXXX appears to be a re-education site for children aimed to promote positive ideals. The founder of SCP-XXXX is unknown, as well as the purpose for its activities. All information pertaining to SCP-XXXX is derived from witness accounts. SCP-XXXX is usually active three times a year; one of these periods of activity is almost always within a week of Christmas.
When active, SCP-XXXX obtains new children through the use of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. Both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are unable to be seen by any human over 10 years of age.
SCP-XXXX-1 is an anomalous locomotive, approximately 30 m long and 5 m tall, resembling a painted wooden toy train scaled up to approximately 124 times its normal size. SCP-XXXX-1 has one passenger car with a maximum capacity of 40, though it has never been reported to meet maximum occupancy. SCP-XXXX-1 does not seem to require any sort of fuel or power to operate, and does not contain any discernible moving parts besides its wheels. SCP-XXXX-1 has only ever been reported to appear in rail stations, even ones where locomotives of its size and design are not able to function, such as a subway system or a monorail. SCP-XXXX-1 has appeared in several rail stations around the continental United States, including locations that are not connected to each other by any rail network.
SCP-XXXX-1 targets children between the ages of 5-10 years and who are considered particularly troublesome. The children are taken onto SCP-XXXX-1 by SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 is a male human, approximately 10 years old, wearing a 19th century pinstriped train engineer’s uniform. SCP-XXXX-2 lures the target onto SCP-XXXX-1 with promises of candy and presents. Victims of SCP-XXXX describe feeling compelled to follow SCP-XXXX-2. Once on board SCP-XXXX-1, the child is strapped into a seat by SCP-XXXX-2 and told to wait. SCP-XXXX-1 then obtains 5 to 10 more children in a similar manner, until SCP-XXXX-2 decides that enough children have been collected. The maximum amount of children collected in one trip was 21, while SCP-XXXX-1 has also been known to take just one particularly ill-behaved child. It typically takes only 1-2 hours to collect all of the children, even if they were located on opposite sides of the country.
SCP-XXXX-1 then transports the children to SCP-XXXX. Once SCP-XXXX-1 arrives, the children are brought into the camp by instances of SCP-XXXX-3, 2 m tall humanoid figures that staff SCP-XXXX. Instances of SCP-XXXX-3 possess disproportionately large craniums and serrated teeth, and wear khaki shorts and brightly-colored polo shirts with “Camp Counselor” printed on the back.
SCP-XXXX is divided into six “Virtue Stations,” with each station devoted to promote a specific characteristic associated with well-behaved children, such as kindness, the ability to share, and respect for their elders. The children are brought to each station, where they are shown a presentation about the station’s virtue by instances of SCP-XXXX-3. These presentations can take the form of a re-enactment of a moralistic fable, a “What Would You Do”-style interactive story, or a group activity. However, these presentations are often gruesome and highly traumatizing for the children. During the “Healthy Food, Healthy You” presentation, an instance of SCP-XXXX-3 dressed as a stalk of broccoli is dismembered and consumed by other instances of SCP-XXXX-3, with the children strongly encouraged to join in. Two instances of SCP-XXXX-3 dressed as a can of soda and a bag of potato chips are then publicly executed via guillotine. It should be noted that instances of SCP-XXXX-3 do not die or seem to feel any pain as a result of these injuries: the severed heads were still extolling the virtues of healthy eating while being placed on pikes. During the “Bullies Deserve No Quarter” presentation, an instance of SCP-XXXX-3 plays the part of a school bully in a short scene before being attacked by other instances of SCP-XXXX-3 armed with bats, shotguns, and crowbars. During the assault, the instance of SCP-XXXX-3 who played the bully will repeat some variation of the phrase “I deserve this.”
After the children have been led through all of the stations, SCP-XXXX-2 will return to escort them back to SCP-XXXX-1, which will always transport them to the Epcot monorail station in Disney World. SCP-XXXX-2 will distribute all-day passes to the park among the children before leaving on SCP-XXXX-1, marking SCP-XXXX as dormant until its next active period.
Occasionally, individuals recovered from SCP-XXXX are found with a printed brochure in their possession. The brochure is labeled “Camp Virtue,” and seems to outline the various presentations done within SCP-XXXX in detail, while explaining the educational purpose and intended lessons learned of each. According to the brochure, SCP-XXXX was founded by Reverend William Lamonte in 1978. Note: Lamonte does not appear on any official minister registries, and attempts to contact him have failed. In the brochure, Lamonte describes the purpose of SCP-XXXX as a re-education camp, bemoaning the modern state of youth morality while listing a sizeable amount of social ills that he feels need correcting. He vows to keep running SCP-XXXX until “All the evils of the world are defeated and we can once more rejoice in the bounty of Eden.”
