  • Addendum 6-04-2020; In order to prevent creation of an SCP-XXXX-2 Instance, all canines are to be kept out of SCP-XXXX's line of sight due to extreme cynophobia. For this reason, Doctor Sycamore is no longer permitted to work with SCP-XXXX due to improper handling of a canine with the subject.
  • 7-10-2020: A Sketchbook and Pencils - Reviewed and Accepted, Entries made will be examined during the weekly sessions with a therapy animal.

SCP-XXXX must be woken up at regular intervals during its sleep cycle to monitor its vitals by at least one Level 3 Researcher and the assigned Physician, if it refuses to be monitored via various monitoring machines. While specialized equipment is not necessary for interaction with SCP-XXXX, two armed guards are to be stationed outside the containment cell at all times to prevent unauthorized access, as well as to swiftly deal with SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 instances should they occur.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a teenager, roughly sixteen years of age, female humanoid of Caucasian descent, formally documented on any outside records as “Rosalind” with no last name. Medical examinations of the subject have revealed extensive body scarring from prior, unknown physical trauma. Despite SCP-XXXX’s seemingly quiet and polite demeanor, it has been presented as a Level I Reality Bender, though through various tests and documents has proved to not be in control of such abilities. SCP-XXXX’s abilities are only active in some of its sleep cycles, ones that are affected by nightmares, in which instances of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 will emerge into the physical world.

The unintentional summonings of either sub-instances of SCP-XXXX (designated SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2) have been shown to cause significant harm to its body and psyche, which resulted in the initial hospitalization that drew the Foundation’s attention after instances of SCP-XXXX-1 attacked third shift nurses at the County Hospital in [REDACTED], Kentucky. Foundation Agents were immediately dispatched after plants within the local police overheard the report to collect SCP-XXXX for containment.

Before being brought into Foundation custody, SCP-XXXX resided in a children’s home in [REDACTED], Kentucky. Due to SCP-XXXX’s uncontrolled altering of reality, sweeps were conducted for a six month, bi-weekly period for any affected individuals of SCP-XXXX-2 and possible sources for SCP-XXXX’s anomalous affliction.

SCP-XXXX itself is not anomalous, but rather becomes a catalyst during its REM Sleep Cycle for instances of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 to come into reality.

  • SCP-XXXX-1 appears from SCP-XXXX’s subconscious during nightmare scenarios, resembling a large, shadow-like, canine-appearing creature. SCP-XXXX-1 is noted as agile and hostile to all sentient life forms in the area, including SCP-XXXX, capable of melding into shaded areas. It appears to be an ambush predator, but can easily be dispatched with any silvered weapon. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 may display pack behavior and group tactics should more than one instance be active at a time, making it imperative that all instances be eliminated as soon as they are detected.
  • SCP-XXXX-2 is an entity that manifests from a fear response in SCP-XXXX, resembling a large humanoid made of shadows, usually following the creation of an SCP-XXXX-1 instance. However, unlike SCP-XXXX-1 SCP-XXXX-2 is capable of minor psionics abilities that allow it to induce heightened fear responses and paralysis within those who come into contact with it, before moving to terminate affected individuals, nor will it act in hostility towards SCP-XXXX. It can be dispersed via removal of whatever has caused a fear response in SCP-XXXX, but can be dispatched similarly to SCP-XXXX-1.
    • Addendum; Testing reveals that individuals predisposed to anxiety and depressive disorders will undergo an unspecified time frame in which their symptoms will greatly heighten.. Purportedly, affected persons feel as if their illnesses have “expanded exponentially”.
    • Addendum; Immediate hostility will occur if SCP-XXXX-2 is exposed to SCP-XXXX-1, as proved by the few incidents that have occurred while SCP-XXXX has been in Foundation custody.

Several interviews conducted with SCP-XXXX have concluded very little information on its anomalous capabilities, how and when they developed, or where both sub-instances originate from. Included below is the only interview that provided new insight on the origins of SCP-XXXX’s anomalous affliction.

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
Interviewer: Dr. A. Porter
Foreword: As usual, Dr. Porter conducted interviews with SCP-XXXX in hopes to achieve new information about what little memories the subject has of its past.

Closing Statement: Vitals taken after this interview showed a spike in heart rate and adrenaline levels, indicating SCP-XXXX was in the early stages of a panic attack.

Addendum: After Foundation Agents were implemented into the County Police Department in [REDACTED], Kentucky, regular sweeps were made of abandoned properties. One such sweep yielded evidence linking SCP-XXXX , or at least sub-instances SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 , to the property. Occult paraphernalia and symbols were found, located within the house’s second floor bedroom.

Additionally, a broken and weathered flip phone was found in the barn on the west side of the property. The number matched to a 911 Call made in December of 20XX that was never looked into due to lack of address and call-tracing at the time.

Closing Statement: All attempts to locate SCP-XXXX biological parents for more information have been unsuccessful and they have been presumed deceased.
