Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP 4750 is to left undisturbed in site [DATA EXPUNGED], it’s containment is to be sorrounded by 40 meters of fence with barbed wire and no foundation personnel are to enter SCP 4750‘s containment without level 04 permission. When entering, foundation personnel or Class D personnel are to wear a level A hazmat suit.

Description:
SCP 4750 is a white or yellow tendril like organism usually 250 centimetres long though sizes may vary especially as SCP 4750 seems to grow, it also has a 15 centimetre spike on the end of it and a root like base in its origin point. Instances of SCP 4750 are usually located in the blind side of any given doorway or point of entry within site [DATA EXPUNGED], instances of SCP 4750 will attack any visible humans by stabbing them in the vocal cords to prevent a vocal response. Once a human has been hooked by an instance of SCP 4750 it will inject them with an incredibly powerful mutagenic virus, once injected SCP 4750 will hold the human in place as they begin to slowly re-absorb themselves. This process usually takes 2 days and the human will end up as a mass of white flesh, SCP 4750 will then place its victim on another blind spot for a doorway or point of entry where they will begin to grow, an instance of SCP 4750 will usually take 1 day to mature. Instances of SCP 4750 seem to retain their intelligence, memories and in some cases even their personalities though they will begin to exhibit the same behaviour of an instance of SCP 4750 however differences in actions have been observed. The biology of SCP 4750 is mostly a mystery as it is dangerous observing SCP 4750 due to its numerous numbers.

SCP 4750-2 is a brightly coloured red fungus which is absorbed by SCP 4750 through its skin if it has gone for long enough without prey, it also serves as a distraction to any human entering site the territory of an instance of SCP 4750.

Addendum SCP 4750-1:
Instances of SCP 4750 are capable of communication between each other through the use of complex spores though communication can be slow.

Addendum SCP 4750-2 Discovery:
SCP 4750 was discovered after the company and all its workers located in site [DATA EXPUNGED] had all gone missing and the foundation had been informed of a possible SCP, foundation personnel arrived on site and secured the premises 2 days after the reports had been issued.

Addendum SCP 4750-3:
Drone exploration of site [DATA EXPUNGED] suggests there are multiple caverns connected to site [DATA EXPUNGED] leading deep below the earth, close analisation suggests the caverns dug out over a long period of time. Growths of SCP 4750-2 are incredibly common in the caverns, there is an exponential amount of instances of SCP 4750 near the entry way to the caverns. Drone exploration attempts have never succeeded in reaching the bottom of the caverns and it is theorised that a larger organism is located below.
