Special Containment Procedures:
SCP 4750 is to be contained in a metal cylinder and frozen beyond -10 degrees celsious but not past -20 degrees celsious, all cylanders containing SCP 4750 are to be located at the V12 site and not to be taken out of containment for anything but reaserch purposes. In the case of a containment breach strong airborn amnestics are to be released into the contaminated areas of the V12 site. Instances of SCP 4750-2 are to be locked in a mostly standard human holding cell with reinforced bars, electrical wiring and specialised ventilators. Each instance of SCP 4750-2 is to be supplied with 20 kilograms of meat weekly.

Description:
SCP 4750 is a clear substance containing a complex mutagenic virus only affecting humans, any infected humans will result in the creation of an instance of SCP 4750-2. It takes approximatley 30 minutes for symptoms to set in, 1 hour for mutations to begin occuring and 6 hours for these mutations to fully develope. Once infected the virus can be slowed (it cannot be cured) by exposing the subject to -10-(-20) degrees celsious, if the subject is exposed to temperatures below -20 degrees celsious the virus will become abnormally active reducing the total amount of time bewtween infection and complete transformation to 1 hour. SCP 4750's sucess rate of producing an instance of SCP 4750-2 after infection is currently 100% (unless the subject is killed before mutation).
Symptoms Include (but are not limited to):

  • Strong pain in the chest
  • Mild Migranes
  • Tiredness
  • Extreme Hunger
  • Red Eyes
  • Numbness in Certain Parts of the Body
  • Tired Eyes When Exposed to Light
  • Rapid Consumption of Excess Fat

Instances of SCP 4750-2 have undergone mutations so sevre they would be lethal to normal humans.
Mutations Always Include:

  • Sharp and Extended Teeth (Size varies)
  • Subjects grow an extra 10 centimeters regardless of age or Physical condition
  • Hightened Cerrebral Activity
  • The Growth of an Extra Heart
  • Loss of All Pigment in Skin
  • Greatly Enlarged Pupils and Larger Eyes (also accompanied with a nocturnal tendancy and a unknown method of producing Vitamin D)
  • Growth of Sharp Claws (approximatley 4 centimeters long)
  • Greatly Increased Physical Abilities
  • Increased Hunger
  • Predatorial Mindset (subject thinks they need to hunt)
  • Immensly Increased Regeneration Capabilities
  • Loss of Most Hair on Body
  • Digestive System Mutated to fit a Complete Carnivorous Diet
  • Producing SCP 4750 in Bodily Fluids
  • Certain Hormonal Changes (most likely used to drive instances of SCP 4750-2 to kill)

After complete mutation subjects will begin to activley hunt for humans during the night (though they can eat any other meat and will do so in the abscence of humans), the metabolism of instances of SCP 4750-2 is slower than a normal human's however they exhibit increased hunger. One of SCP 4750's interesting aspects is that instances of SCP 4750-2 retain their memories, personality and conciousness though they are driven to hunt and kill due to hunger and hormonal changes. It is not known where SCP 4750 originated from however there is evidence suggesting the virus has existed for hundreds of years in the depictions of the "Wendigo" and other similar creatures all around the world which bear lots of resemblance to instances of SCP 4750-2. The foundation is in current possesion of 70 SCP 4750-2 instances however the current number of SCP 4750-2 instances instances is unknown, instances of SCP 4750-2 have been spotted all around the world.
