Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is to be contained in a locked box of custom design. The containment of and interactions with resulting instances of SCP-#### are to be monitored by at least two researchers of rank-E or greater. Direct interaction with said object is to never occur unless a member of senior staff and the site director of SCP-####'s current containment are both under agreement to do so.

Description: SCP-#### is a white, apparently smooth, rock. There is a black discoloration spotted across the surface of the stone. The topology of the stone is flat on the bottom and the majority of the mass is congregated to one side. A property of touching the surface of the stone put's an individual under the primary effects of SCP-####. This property is classified as The Emergence, follow to quarantine reports or symptoms for more information.

Symptoms: After making contact, an individual is then infected with the primary effect. Which is to cause a growth to form on any part of the body; this growth initially begins forming after four to six hours. Over the course of the following sixteen to thirty one hours the growth persists on the subject until it takes the form of a limb. Once a limb is formed there is an on set of rapid generation of tissue in the resemblance of a humanoid body in tandem with the chance that an other growth may also appear. The humanoid second body will behave as if it is pulling itself out of the subject until it is fully grown. The secondary body in question appears to be a replica of the original subject. If any growths had formed in the previous stage they will each come to term in a similar amount of time following. A possible side effect after a second growth comes to term is death and guaranteed exhaustion.

There is a secondary effect that presents itself after consuming a portion of the original stone or an individual effected by the primary effect. Once ingested, the individual effected will experience partial indigestion. After ten to twenty five minutes of indigestion the subject promptly dissolves into a substance of 80,000 centipoise(On a scale of viscosity, this is above ketchup or mustard). Within this substance is an egg that absorbs the remaining material surrounding it. After absorption, the egg expands and cultures an embryo into a form resembling the original species. This instance is classified as SCP-####-1 and is presumed to be born an adolescent and is infertile. These instances are considered apart of containment due to consistently having anomalous abilities after being born. Go to The Spartans for more information. To clarify however, the subject has died as a side effect and it is not clear if this new form continues their consciousness.

Previously the standard containment procedure was to keep SCP-#### in a small cardboard or wooden box, that can allow for an object of 10 centimetres in diameter and a give of ±3 centimetres. This was changed early in research due to researchers doing unauthorized experiments and some custodians having bad habits with safe objects contained in storage.

Incident 1

The individual researcher Kurt Adams had convinced his co-researcher to leave him alone to allow them to conduct research unimpeded.
They had decided to take a single D-class and coerce them to touch SCP-#### even though prior tests had conclusively answered what would happen.
Unknown to Kurt, a guard with knowledge of the schedule for that day and stopped the experiment.

The Researcher Kurt Adams was terminated and his co-researcher was reprimanded.
The D-class made three duplicates of themselves and as a result they had died. There is no log of this experiment, so any precursors to said death were not recorded.

The following are notes from the lead researcher Dr. Cilica. Due to complications, these notes have been transcribed into a word document format.

| The rock looks really strange, especially on camera.

| Does this work on non-living things? NO. Does it catch fire? Maybe? There was
| debris on the rock that caught sparks; no, does not catch fire. Can it be damaged?
| Yes.

| The first test is what happens to people when they touch it? Nothing
| NOT NOTHING, IT'S SOME KIND OF DISEASE. What happens to people when
| they eat a piece of the rock? THEY DISSOLVE!

| Some time has passed and it appears some information about or previous
| experiment's were lost. There was an egg discovered in the waste disposal bay and
| we must find a reason why this was over looked during testing.
|
| It has be discovered that eating the shavings from the rock also leaves a small fish
| sized egg other than the mashed humans. Further observation of the remains are
| planned.
|
| We however lost the original dissolved remains because custodial washed it away.
| At least we know it's water soluble.

| The night shift discovered the growths on the D-class to have changed into either
| arms or legs, but they're missing fingers or the entire foot. The egg when kept in
| the mush grew in size. The original egg found was roughly the size of a tennis ball,
| but stopped growing while the current egg is larger than a watermelon.

| After closer observation of the subjects they have begun to grow more growths. An | entire humanoid body is emerging from one of the subjects. It's acting like it is
| pulling itself out of the subject.

| Both subjects who touched the stone have released their doppelgangers. One of the | subjects still has a growth on his left shoulder. The original subjects that ate from
| the stone is considered dead and the egg that came from their corpse is hardening.
| The second subject that ate from the stone, while also presumed dead, the egg that
| resulted is still growing larger and an embryo has been identified within.

| The dust that we shaved off of the rock was tested again and it seems to vanish
| over time. There were several more tests that made a larger dent in the rock and
| while the dust vanished, they did not return to the rock as some people believed.
| We now take a record of the size, shape, and weight of the rock every time we take
| a sample.

| They separated the research teams to watch the D-class in recovery and the rock. I | only learned this had happened because the other research team reported that the
| egg had hatched.

| The second growth on the other test subject is taking much longer than the last |ones to grow.
| The two teams are not communicating as much as I'd like.
|
| What had come out of the egg is reportedly not resembling the D-class that was
| used in testing to make the egg. The first egg was abandoned in a storage location.

| We are being moved to shifts because of how long results are coming in for these
| experiments. As of now the rock is considered safe.

| Some time yesterday Dr. Bright made a visit to our facility after leaving his own. He | stole my notes and I don't know how long I haven't had them.
|
| Even though he is a senior staff member, he is now banned from this site.
|
| In the gap of my notes there have been several experiments and some incidents.
| One of which was a custodial taking the rock out of containment. This seems
| connected to Dr. Bright. The D-class that spawned doppelgangers were used in
| other tests at this site.

| I haven't been told of the results of the other D-class who ate pieces of the rock.
| The rock seems to continuously expand at an inconsistent rate. The researcher who
| purposed this is suggesting more dynamic tests for such a quality.

| We had already tried to burn the rock, but the researcher suggests to shoot a laser
| over a specific location of the stone.
| This seems to work, making a small bump where the laser was pointed. It does take
| some time for the bump to appear, but we did use a common laser pointer for the
| test.

Emergency containment
Subject shows signs of an infectious growth. There is no sign of concern nor fatigue. Infection has been unattended to for 4 hours and 34 minutes. The subject began showing signs of growth(s) some time before discovery, it is unknown for how long.

The growth was discovered when the D-class took off their own shirt while in holding. The first growth appeared on the subject's lower back attached to the latissimus doris muscular structure. The subject did not seem to mind, but experienced noticeable discomfort from the location of the growth. They could not fully move their right arm as a result.

There was an attempt to remove the growth through surgery. Tissue effected by the growth repaired itself far too quickly for the surgery to be successful.

After extensive observation the growth present on the lower back of the subject matured into the structural resemblance to a human arm. Full maturity is defined when the arm(or limb) is fully formed and transitions from the host. The growth had come to maturity after approximately 12 hours since the recent development of the infection.

Once maturity was achieved the subject under-went the emergence, which is a relatively brief process in which the growth cultures cells to rapidly grow into the form of a humanoid.

Special Containment Procedures: Normal containment has proven impossible. Only observation is required and prevention of SCP-XXXX's affects to the environment. Containment of SCP-XXXX is only possible due to SCP-XXXX-1; under no circumstances is SCP-XXXX-1, along with any other anomalous objects associated with SCP-XXXX-1 to be restricted from SCP-XXXX as to prevent hostilities.

Description: SCP-XXXX is caucasian, male, possibly in his late teens or mid twenties. It is 6'1 with any unusual physical features yet to be known. SCP-XXXX is able to move its limbs casually at or above Mock 15 and for it not to cause extravagant damage requires caution and focus on SCP-XXXX's part. SCP-XXXX has a psychotic episode occasionally when not within SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 is an anomalous room similar to standard containment cells, but is fundamentally larger once within. This property does not seem to be caused by a separate dimension rather an artificial expansion of volume. SCP-XXXX-1 was created by SCP-XXXX on ██ of ████, 20██. SCP-XXXX is well understood and is generally considered safe while in containment, but due to its creation of SCP-XXXX-1 it is permanently designated as keter. SCP-XXXX-1 has many strange properties and some mundane, you may find all properties in the document Forbidden Cube under Anomalous Creations further testing is required. SCP-XXXX is cordial and frequently reminds anyone of its patience when communicating, do not mention or remind SCP-XXXX about this or anything time related.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was brought to the foundation's attention after hurricane force winds were reported in ██████, Swaffham, UK. The foundation only looked into the situation further when an entity of some kind was reported in the town causing direct damage to structures nearby. However by the time foundation personnel were on the ground the wind was calm in the general area. Foundation personnel made their way to the epicenter and they had witnessed a glimmering borderless aura there. The entity was radiating an unknown form of radiation that said entity has not been able to replicate. That entity had moved toward foundation personnel and stood in front of them producing a noise so high pitch it had killed agents ██████, ████, and ████. The effect to survivors was permanent damage to the cerebellum and a violent rupturing of the eardrums and several blood vessels. The affect decreases in severity greatly within meters from the entity later designated as SCP-XXXX. Agents on site proceed to fire upon SCP-XXXX with no success. Despite every projectile failing, SCP-XXXX appeared on the floor and now was more humanoid with its head still impossible to depict.

It had been relocated peacefully to containment in site-██ on ████, ██, 20██. Once in containment after 6 hours SCP-XXXX became active, but still passive causing minor damage to its containment. After 16 hours a researcher attempted to feed SCP-XXXX, it didn't seem to notice for approximately 2 minutes, but once it had the food provided vanished and SCP-XXXX appeared next to the door tampering with it. Researcher ██████ ███████ had attempted to ask SCP-XXXX what he was doing, but it did not react. Within seconds of observing tamper with the door SCP-XXXX proceeded through the door without tearing or breaking of the door, but now it appeared translucent in a humanoid pattern with extreme structural damage. The breach alarms were then required to be triggered manually. SCP-XXXX proceeded to rapidly explore the facility, but this time there were only minor gusts coming off it's presence. It proceeded to break 23 keyboards and search through breaking walls, chairs, tables, and even [DATA EXPUNGED]. A facility standard keyboard, computer mouse and computer were moved to the head researchers desk along with an industrial keyboard with metallic keys and a general stone frame, both keyboards were linked to the computer present. The computer as presented already had a chat room open and said computer appeared to belong to █████ responsible for managing personnel. SCP-XXXX established a form of communication as seen in interview-1.

SCP-XXXX had requested several material and was granted all but one for fear that it would use said material explosively. While it waited for the materials the entity seemed excited, but was compliant enough to re-enter containment when asked. Once provided with an excess of metals and salts SCP-XXXX instantly destroyed containment and interacted with the given materials, causing suck a violent reaction that the heat in the facility on average had risen from 24°c to 51°c and a flash of light equivalent to 93000 lux as measured on cameras. All staff near the area that was allowed for SCP-XXXX to be given these materials suprisingly did not die but they were unconscious and moved to new locations except for a janitor working in a hallway nearby who dispirite not being in view of the reaction and being over 50 meters away was severely burned and expirenced cardiac arrest for 5 minutes before gaining medical attention. The flashes of light only lasted 6 seconds and at their end SCP-XXXX-1 took the place of SCP-XXXX's previous cell.

All SCP-XXXX creations are primarily associated with SCP-XXXX-1 due to location of discovery.

Forbidden Cube

The physical structure of SCP-XXXX-1 has proven impossible to damage, some of the properties known through testing are the following:

1. Subject could no longer phase through the walls
2. Conductivity through any form is impossible(heat, electricity or otherwise)
3. Magnetic fields completely distort or vanish in its vicinity(including the earths magnetic field in a range of 15 meters in a field of its own implying an anti magnetic force of some kind)
4. When any normal person enters SCP-XXXX-1 the room appears to be normal and is to consist of one room with no other items or compartments, this is not true once SCP-XXXX enters SCP-XXXX-1
5. Under closer examination the elements provided are technically still present, but are not chemically reactive to anything
6. Gravity in a similar 15 meter radius is contorted in several directs and theoretically also in unknown directions
7. Possible memetic or intoxicating effects to SCP-XXXX as far as we can tell

Several times after SCP-XXXX reports not being afraid of being without SCP-XXXX-1, but being outside of it is to difficult for the entity to manage. The topic of what SCP-XXXX is afraid of is the only thing it doesn't respond to immediately and once it does it will dodge the question. SCP-XXXX has stated that it uses SCP-XXXX-1 for protection in multiple instances, but from what it protects SCP-XXXX is unknown. SCP-XXXX gave SCP-XXXX-1 a name, Daniel, no part of the research team is to use this name when referring to SCP-XXXX-1.

Dr. Celia: Why do you wish to communicate?

SCP-XXXX: I have some idea why I am here and I also have an idea what you do, while I appreciate the idea taken I am no prisoner. My situation is too precise for me to let you. I have studied you and myself for too long to have the capacity.

Dr. Celia: Why do you believe this?

SCP-XXXX: I have become very patient while trapped in my position, but rather early in this time I noticed a change and I figured out how to manage this change. I will get to the point and just ask for a favor.

Dr. Celia: You are in our containment and under my supervision to contain and understand you, so please answer my questions. I would also like it if you re-entered your cell. I would only grant you anything that is deemed necessary.

SCP-XXXX: I feared you would never stop typing, but I stayed patient and I am ready to comply with you and your staff. I don't have ill will toward you due to my condition, I hope you also are peaceful. I ask for osmium, copper, uranium, complex salts, and nitrates.

Dr. Celia: I can't give you any of them as some of these materials would be a safety concern.

SCP-XXXX: I would settle for any substance of similar properties. I need these to survive, I am desperate. I am truly afraid, please.

Dr. Celia: Okay, I will grant you copper, osmium, salts and nitrates. All of these may be impure and in a nuetral state. It will take at least a day to arrive.
