Item #: SCP-4360
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4360 is to be placed on a wooden pedestal (measuring 1m in height, and 20cm in both width and depth) in the center of a 4m x 2m x 2m containment chamber. Access into 4360's containment chamber is only granted within the hours of 0400 and 0600 UTC. On the first day of every month, 2 adult pigs are to be left inside of the containment chamber of SCP-4360.
Description: SCP-4360 is a standard wooden jewelry box measuring on average 12 centimeters in depth, 15 centimeters in width, and 35 centimeters in height (although this changes based on the seasons, with it being smaller in the summer, and larger in the winter.). Every day at 0600 hours, the wooden jewelry box will begin to excrete an unknown substance (which research has shown to be main comprised of concrete, with traces of copper and lead). By 0630 hours, the box will have excreted enough substance to completely fill the containment chamber. At 0330 hours the following day, the unknown substance will begin to be absorbed back into the wooden box, returning to it's original size and shape by 0400 hours.
On the 5th day of every month, guards stationed outside of the chamber hear sounds of an unknown origin from within the containment chamber. Upon testing with D-class personnel, prolonged exposure to these sounds will result in the test subject either trying to enter the containment chamber of SCP-4360, or enter an enraged state, where they will proceed to attack any other personnel near by. Out of a total of 22 test subject, 5 have been terminated due to causing damage to the containment chamber of SCP-4360, and a further 2 have been terminated due to causing severe injury to research personnel.
Addendum: Note: While pigs do not need to be used, alternative animals should only be used in cases where there is a limited availability of adult pigs. Processed meats and other food substances are not allowed to be placed inside of SCP-4360's containment chamber under and circumstances.
