Item #: SCP-4397
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4397 is uncontainable. However, it is possible to hold victims who have experienced SCP-4397. They all must be locked in a 3.7 x 5.5m room decorated to resemble a standard medium living room. Inside, you can see a TV, coffee table, sofa, kitchen table, fridge, oven and two bunk beds. Speakers are mounted in each corner playing ambience music to prevent each victim of SCP-4397 (Bloodkeen Condition) from entering a state of emotional distress.
Description: SCP-4397 is a condition obtained by being electrocuted from artificial electricity or fire. It is not technically considered an “illness” but still falls under that category in the SCP Foundation.
When experiencing an artificial electrocution and surviving, the electricity may melt through your skin and leave scars, cuts, wounds and gashes. These marks may bleed upon being formed or when the victim undergoes distress. Entering such distress will cause each of the individual scars to excrete blood at a medium rate; Leaving the victim liable to death from blood loss or sudden faints. More side effects include sleep deprivation, schizophrenia, poor eyesight, lightheadedness, and being shocked when touching electrical outlets.
Behavior: SCP-4397 will occur to a victim when they are electrocuted from an electrical appliance (EX: Toaster) and surviving the event. The electricity will burn and leave cuts all around your body causing them to bleed. The wounds will only bleed again when the victim goes in a mental outburst or when said wounds are not treated with the right medical procedures. Victims will then feel an intense anger and attack the nearest living being and bite through their skin; Trying to retrieve their blood.
Patients that have experienced this condition (and still have it) may attempt to lick the blood off the scars when they begin to drizzle. This odd behavior may be caused from insanity or emotional problems. These particular patients will even force themselves to rage in order to receive the blood once more. Dr. Chirtmire and Dr. Manchove were assigned an interview with two Bloodkeen condition affected personnel. Here are the record interview logs:
