Description: SCP-xxxx¹ is a ≈2.5m³ static gravity-bound dimensional rift (GBDR) composed of ≈1400 noncontiguous sections, one of which is larger than 1m³. It establishes a passage for photons and fermions between our universe (U00) and another, designated U04. For ease of communication, the planet accessible through the rift has been dubbed Belisama² (formal label: U04s0-A).

The rift trails slightly behind the net movement of the Earth relative to the Cosmic Microwave Background by ≈0.1mm/year. No shift relative to U04's CMB has been measured.
Slight differences in fundamental constants within U04 allow for exotic forms of matter to be stable, and entail different properties in analogs to known chemical elements and compounds. Most matter native to U04 dissipates upon crossing SCP-xxxx, however the converse has never been observed (all equipment and testing samples cross unharmed). Subjecting conductive u-04 matrials to a constant electric field has been found to maintain their stability in U00 indefinitely.

Remarkably, additionally to an ecosystem of native lifeforms, Belisama houses a human population, thought to have colonized it through SCP-xxxx circa 200.000 B.C, before SCP-xxxx was buried in sediment.

Tests involving a reality-bending entity have reduced its peripheral permeability to photons, offering precious insights regarding GBDRs, the structure of the Multiverse, and the integration of Hume Field Theory, Quantum Field Theory, and General relativity.
