THE INVISIBLE HAND OF FATE

Highest concept: Time loop using page revisions.

High concept: Protagonist can see into the past and communicate with the reader one way. He treats page revisions as rewriting of history slash time travel. Think Day of the Tentacle if the time machine was the page history.

Plot:

  1. Protagonist comes to Site-19 trying to get into the armory. Fails because he doesn't have the access codes. Explains that he's here to stop a major catastrophe that will end all life as we know it, but failed. Asks reader to GO BACK IN TIME and set the armory code to 1234567890.
  2. Protagonist enters armory and equips himself with a weapon, but he attacks and destroys the wrong SCP. Asks reader to GO BACK IN TIME and make sure that he attacks the correct cell.

NOTES:
In order to prevent a recurrence of the original ERZATZ Incident1, the Psionics Division worked with SCP-2897 to divine the best course of action for fulfilling the ERZATZ neural network's desired self-actualization parameters. It was determined that the best way to fulfill these parameters would be install the ERZATZ network into a series of daisy-chained Prototype XX890-V LFO systems.

NOTES:
Shortly after the passage of the proposal, a Global Occult Coalition liaison reached out to the Foundation, citing the need to contain SCP-XXXX and offering both resources to develop a long-term containment solution for SCP-XXXX and the usage of Yucca Mountain as the location of the solution. This would result in the development of Site-1938 and the Fortwall Protocol.
