Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5000 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment unit. Requests for additions to the unit are to be accepted unless deemed unreasonable or have the possibility of engaging SCP-5000's curiosity. Items such as books, magazines, media-players, or nearly any other items that could produce information are to be strictly prohibited in SCP-5000's unit. All items added to SCP-5000's unit are required to be monochrome in color, as standard colors also have an effect on SCP-5000's curiosity.
Description: SCP-5000 is an adult human female known as Mrs. Lillian Terry, appearing monochrome in color instead of the full range of colors available to the human eye. SCP-5000 behaves and dresses in the style of a 1920's detective and has little to no understanding of most modern technological and social advancements. SCP-5000 also reports suffering from amnesia, having no recollection of what her life was like as a detective.
SCP-5000 is dangerously curious, as when exposed to an item or entity that prompts a question from SCP-5000 or directly produces a question, SCP-5000 will immediately begin working on a means of answering said question (see Addendum 5000.1). When SCP-5000 was first brought into custody, one of the standard questions included the current marital status of SCP-5000. SCP-5000 expressed confusion, stood up out of its chair, and ran out the steel door which was very secured. SCP-5000 reportedly escaped the facility, running at speeds unachievable by the standard human. A task force was quickly prepared to re-contain SCP-5000, only have it return approximately ten minutes later.
When SCP-5000 arrived back at the facility, it was accompanied by an entity which shared many similarities with the basic appearance of SCP-5000, including its color, except for the fact that it was male. SCP-5000 reported that it was currently married to the man it was accompanied by, a Mr. Rious, hereby referred to as SCP-5000-1. This information proved to be false, as neither of the entities were seen to be wearing rings nor any other known symbolic marital items, neither were there any documents present proving the legal marriage between the two.
SCP-5000-1 wears what would be considered the male counterpart to SCP-5000's clothing and has been seen to have a behavior similar to that of SCP-5000. After being questioned, SCP-5000-1 claims to also suffer from amnesia, but believes it knows SCP-5000 very well and has for a long time. SCP-5000-1 was tested for similar anomalous properties as SCP-5000, but tests proved inconclusive (see Addendum 5000-1.1).
