Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-5XXX, it simply cannot be contained. Survivors of the SCP-5XXX virus must find a safe area to defend itself from SCP-5XXX-1 substances.

Survivors attempting to travel in area of those infected with SCP-5XXX are to make as little noise as possible, preferably adding suppressors to firearms if they own such firearms. Travel in the open is to be limited as much as possible to prevent being vulnerable to an SCP-5XXX-1 attack. Cities and other urban areas are not to be ventured as the risk of being infected with SCP-5XXX are increased.

Suburban, rural and remote location provides the best safety against being infected with SCP-5XXX. Travel by water or air is very much recommended to reach other places.

Personnel infected with SCP-5XXX are to be considered lost. Those in the late stages of infection are to be killed or abandoned immediately.

SCP-5XXX-1 substances react heavily to light and noise and alerted SCP-5XXX-1 substances can be identified by their screams and unintelligible shouting. If they start throbbing light from various lumps on their body, turn off all lights and avoid making sound as soon as possible.

Testing has proven that SCP-5XXX is edible in some parts of the body, but not all as many parts contain SCP-5XXX.

Description: SCP-5XXX is a complex virus that turns its victims into SCP-5XXX-1 or zombies as they can be commonly referred to. Traits of the SCP-5XXX virus include:

  • transmitted through biting subjects
  • is not airborne or waterborne.
  • taking 10 seconds for the patient to turn and infect.
