Incident I-6000-1: While containing the first instance of SCP-6000 on March 19th, ████, senior scientist Dr. Nicholas Usher was exposed to the pollen emanating from the object, and was put in quarantine after being deemed a bio-hazard.
On March 20th, ████, Dr. Usher was granted access to the contained instance of SCP-6000 to study the instance and record the effect of the spores on him. The first log entry was recorded shortly after being transferred to the SCP-6000 greenhouse.

Dr. Usher: Good morning, my name is Dr. Nicholas Usher, and I am conducting a study on a newly acquired anomalous object, designated SCP-6000. I am sure that someone has already briefed you of my situation, so let me move on and tell you about the anomaly itself: SCP-6000 is what looks to be… a sycamore tree, and instead of leaves, it grows… banknotes… Y'know, when they found the anomaly, Chinese Yuan grew from its branches, now it has started growing US dollars. Obviously, the currency it grows depends on where in the world it's planted. I've been meaning to examine these bills, but I have yet to pluck any from the tree… I should probably do that now. Oh, before I go, I've collected a sample of the pollen. I'm going to send them off to Dr. Lawrence from the lab so I can know what's going on inside them. I hope that I have some more answers for you tomorrow. Usher out.

Dr. Usher: Hello again, good news: I have results! Not very conclusive, but I have results. First, concerning the pollen: according to my colleagues over at the lab, they harbor parasitic pathogens, which release spores. They have yet to find out what the spores will do to me, which is concerning, but hey, it's a foregone conclusion anyway. If I die… *ahem* Let's not think about that.. Now, concerning the banknotes: they're the real deal, to the minutest detail. I even observed them under a microscope, and I couldn't find any sign of botanical life except for the usual bacteria. I think it would be a good idea to examine some more bills, just to be sure. I'll be back with more details very soon. Usher out.

Dr. Usher: I've been looking at the bills some more. No matter how many I pluck, they're perfectly identical to real dollars. I've come to the conclusion that the bills themselves are not anomalous. One new thing I can report is that the bills grow faster every time they are plucked. How this occurs, I'm not sure of. Now, I have yet to hear back from my colleagues over at the lab, but as far as I know, the parasite hasn't been harmfu-

Dr. Usher: … Excuse me for one second.
More than half a minute passes, Dr. Usher is presumed to be reading his email but doesn't make any audible sounds to confirm this. The recording ends abruptly.

Good afternoon Dr. Usher,
Two weeks before SCP-6000 was transplanted, the team investigating the anomaly (The Sichuan Research Team, SRT) detected a notable increase in their compulsive behavior. Earlier, we suspected SCP-6000 was involved, and now our test results confirm our suspicions. Upon studying several of the SRT members, we have found that various spores have nestled in the members' frontal cortexes, and are causing the individuals to develop this compulsive behavior. Their exposure to SCP-6000 was relatively brief, so the effects on them are minimal. We don't know what prolonged exposure to the anomaly will do to you, so we suggest terminating your test before it's too late.
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Kenneth Lawrence

Dr. Usher: It's been… It's been a while since I've started studying SCP-6000, I don't really remember how long ago it has been, I have pretty much lost count… Oh, uhh, regarding the pollen, I feel absolutely fine… I'm honestly starting to suspect that my colleagues may have overestimated their findi-

Subject: Regarding Dr. Usher
sent on 08/04/████, at 18:21
Good evening, Director,
I just had a conversation with your Lead Researcher, Dr. Nicholas Usher. We have urged him to stop his research on SCP-6000, as we fear he may suffer irreparable consequences if he keeps being exposed to the anomaly. Just recently, he has started to forget to eat his food, so I came to speak to him personally. When we spoke, he definitely seemed out of breath, he even vomited, or at least gagged- it was hard to tell through the intercom. I tried telling him to stop testing so we could help him, but he refused and said we were scheming against him so that we could have his money. I haven't been able to contact him again; he has completely shut himself off from us. I've never seen him act so extreme. I'm hoping to gain your vote of confidence in forcibly ending Dr. Usher's experiment, so that we may help him get back on his feet. I hope to hear from you very soon.
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Kenneth Lawrence

Good evening, Dr. Lawrence,
Thank you for the email. After Dr. Usher's concerning developments through his audio logs, I can see that this is an urgent matter, so I will override the lock to SCP-6000's containment chamber and send over four security guards to remove Dr. Usher from SCP-6000 and bring him to the medical wing.
Sincerely,
Ulysses Norton
Director, Bio Site-42
Addendum I-6000-3: On April 8th, ████, the enclosure of SCP-6000 was entered by four security personnel. The chamber had a pile of approximately 28 million US dollars leaning against the wall and a voice recorder found near SCP-6000. Dr. Usher was nowhere to be found. The voice recorder was still on when the team arrived, the recording consists of the sound of wood cracking which continues for 3 minutes, which is followed by silence. Dr. Usher's current whereabouts are unknown.
Addendum: Four months after Incident I-6000-1, another instance of SCP-6000 was found. The Foundation was alerted to 24 missing-persons cases near Cologne, Germany. An MTF team was sent to investigate, and subsequently found a trace of contagious pollen in the nearby area. The source was tracked down to the nearby Königsforst, and an instance of SCP-6000 was found. The decision was made to fell the tree, as it was too big to transplant to the nearest facility. When felled, the instance started pouring red sap at a rapid pace. After the 'bleeding' stopped, the tree's bark was found to have 24 rings, indicating that the instance was 24 years old. On the contrary, further research indicated this instance to have been five years old. Upon inspection of the tree sap that 'bled' out of the instance, 24 individual DNA samples were found. Later testing revealed all to be of human origin.
