Item #: SCP-####-J
Object Class: Keter Neutralized
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-####-J cannot be contained, as he is always in our hearts. Due to SCP-####-J's radioactive tendency, there was no possible way to contain him.
Description: SCP-####-J was the pet dog of scientist [REDACTED] at site [REDACTED]. Due to the fact that his owner had just gone through a divorce that ended up with him losing his kids in a custody battle, the O5 council allowed him to have his dog with him for one day, so long as it never left his side.
SCP-####-J was classified as a scp on March 1, [REDACTED] when accidentally walking into 914 while a scientist who was distracted activated it onto very fine. SCP-####-J stared at the scientist, somehow gaining high intelligence. It then barked at the scientist, causing the scientist to instantly die. A later autopsy performed showed high levels of radiation poisoning.
-Interview SCP-####-J-1
Date: March 1, [REDACTED]
Interviewer: Dr. Charly
Subject: Guard Evans
<Begin Transcript>
Dr. Charly: Thank you, Mr. Evans for conducting this interview with us. First question: what did you see in the 914 security cameras?
Evans: [Gum is heard being chewed loudly in the audio] Yeah, you see, I was relaxing with my day. Tomorrow is my day off, and I was planning to play baseball with some pals. The other guards love me. They decided to give me the most important job, which is watch the security cameras alone. I obliged because I wanted them to still be my friends…
Dr. Charly: Please continue on subject
Evans: [Gum chewing intensifies] My bad. So there I was, watching the cameras as a scientist was conducting weird experiments on 914. They put some weird papers inside it and turned the dial on very fine, but then they checked their clipboard and wrote in it. They didnt notice the dog walk in and go to 914. I dont know why the dog went into 914, but I couldent care less. Dosent harm me at all. So the scientist pressed the dial and watched patiently for the machine to be done. They were finished, and they looked at the receiver end, and the dog walked out. The scientist muttered under his breath "how?", probably wondering how the dog got into 914, if you didnt know. The dog, I shit you not, did not say a word then barked at the scientist. The scientist got vaporized, so i called the other guards and we tranquilized it and neutralized it. I heard a scientist is running experiments on it right now.
Dr. Charly: Yes, we found out that there is a high amount of radiation in its system. It shouldent be alive. Its bark somehow releases some of that radiation, but then it builds up again. Do you know the Chernobyl incident?
Evans: Sure do.
Dr. Charly: Right now, we're coming to the conclusion the dog is full of the same radiation from it. Maybe even more. [Charly's radio turns on, with the speaker announcing that the dog is dead, but its glowing.] This interview is concluded, thank you for your time, Evans.
Evans: Any time.
-Incident SCP-####-J-1
On March 1, [REDACTED] the state of Delaware, as well as parts of its surrounding states, was completely annihilated by a large amount of radioactive waste. When drones were sent in to facility's in the area, in the short time span they had, they found that some scp's were gone; their cells broken out of. All human and plant life in the area is gone. The cover-up story is that Russia sent nukes, and America, being the best country, stopped them all except one, which hit Delaware.
The 05 Council are in a panicked state, as well as most of the staff, with the question lingering on their minds, "what happened to the scps?".
-05 COUNCIL ONLY-
Damian jumped out of his chair, realizing he had homework that he should probably do. He hit save draft on the page, and started doing the homework. "Man" he thought, "What if scps were real, and Delaware was actually gone?". But inside he knew, the SCP foundation was not real, it was just made up. He then continued on his homework, oblivious to the thought that someone was writing about him writing an scp.
