説明: SCP-XXX-JPはSCP-XXX-JP-1とSCP-XXX-JP-2の2つの要素で構成されます。
SCP-XXX-JP-1は不明な成分で成形された白いカプセル剤です。SCP-XXX-JP-1の内部には一般的なカプセル剤の中身に確認出来る固体状の薬剤は存在せず、中身は空のように見えます。
SCP-XXX-JP-2は薬理用標準規格に一致しない、白色の陶器製薬用ビンです。SCP-XXX-JP-2の表面には未知の原理により、「SCP-XXX-JP-1を摂取してみたい」という欲求を引き起こす記号が刻まれています。この時に起こる欲求は非常に弱いもので、正体不明の薬剤の服用によるリスクを理解している人間が暴露した場合、暴露者自らの意志で容易に克服が可能です。SCP-XXX-JP-2の底には以下の刻印が確認されます。

現在、SCP-XXX-JPと旧日本軍の関連性について調査中です。
計測の結果、SCP-XXX-JP-2内には常に108錠以上のSCP-XXX-JP-1が存在しており、その総数が108錠を下回る事がありません。SCP-XXX-JP-2内にSCP-XXX-JP-1を供給するメカニズムは判明していません。
SCP-XXX-JPの主な異常性は、SCP-XXX-JP-1を摂取した人間に発現します。以下は発現時の各過程です。
- 対象は自らが好んで常食する食物の味覚を継続して認識し続けます。
- 対象は突如として一切の感情表現を行わなくなり、一般的に食用であると判断されない物品(以降、SCP-XXX-JP-aと表記)を要求します。この時の対象の無感動状態は、前述の要求の達成に従い解除されます。
- SCP-XXX-JP-aを前にした対象は困惑や嫌悪で顔をしかめるなど、SCP-XXX-JP-aを嫌厭するように見えますが、直ちにSCP-XXX-JP-aの摂食を開始しない場合、第2段階と同様に無感動状態に陥ります。この状態となった対象は躊躇うことなくSCP-XXX-JP-aを摂食します。
- 摂食を完了し次第、対象は気絶します。対象の消化器系は通常の███倍以上の効率で機能し、SCP-XXX-JP-aが吸収されるまでの期間は、いかなる刺激も対象の意識を回復させる手段となり得ません。前述の過程に於いて、対象の消化器系は本来消化の不可能な物質を分化及び吸収します。
- SCP-XXX-JP-aの消化を終えた対象は気絶から回復し、SCP-XXX-JP-1の更なる摂取を要求します。要求の達成に伴い、対象の脳内のβエンドルフィン分泌量およびその受容体総数の急激な増加が確認され、SCP-XXX-JP-1への依存が形成されます。
- 対象は上述の過程(1-5)を数度繰り返します。対象はSCP-XXX-JP-1の初回摂取時に対象が自覚していた味覚的嗜好を徐々に失い、依存原因物質がSCP-XXX-JP-1からSCP-XXX-JP-aへと徐々に変容します。
変容が完了した時点で対象はSCP-XXX-JP-1の摂取要求をしなくなり、対象は一連の繰り返し現象から離脱します。この時、対象はSCP-XXX-JP-aの摂食のみで生存が可能となる特異体質を獲得します。SCP-XXX-JP-1の初回服用時のみCクラス記憶処理により異常性の緩和が可能で、その後のSCP-XXX-JP-aの長期間の摂取の禁止により、異常性は消滅します。

SCP-XXX-JPは20██/█/█に「呻きながらカラスの死体を齧っている男性がいる」との通報があり、財団の注意を引いた事によって発見に至りました。目撃者及び駆けつけた警察関係者にはAクラス記憶処理を施し、確保した男性には簡易的な事情聴取の後、Cクラス記憶処理と財団管轄下の精神病院で依存離脱のための療養を行い、解放しました。男性がSCP-XXX-JPを発見し摂取した経緯については、確保時の知能指数の著しい低下の影響により判明しませんでした。
事案XXX-JP: 20██/█/█、本実験で使用されたDクラス職員が収容された観察用収容房内において、臭気強度5.0に相当する未知の臭気が観測されました。作業効率の深刻な低下と予想される甚大な健康被害を鑑み、臭気の発生源となっていた3名のDクラス職員を終了、サイト-8125内の一部区画の臨時清掃を行い、特別収容プロトコルを修正しました。また、この時発生した臭気に暴露した職員の精神状態の悪化が確認されたため、希望した一部職員の配置変えが行われました。

The Hand will emerge from a Way, located in the basement of the third house on Lockwood Street in Ashland, Minnesota. It is a remote town. Nobody will take much notice if there is a commotion. Wait until the Hand has moved at least a quarter mile away from the town just in case. Then strike.

Dispatch a team of Gamma-class personnel from Research and Development to research the boy in Detention Center 59 in Base F. They may use up to ten Alphas for testing. No more. The Gammas have discretion over the specifics of their testing. I do not want to micromanage.

Provided test subject was able to reproduce cognito-hazardous sensations and telepathically communicate them to targeted personnel. During operation, the test subject began behaving erratically, often exhibiting significant disorientation and confusion. At 0917, test subject ceased moving and became non-responsive to all orders. Several Insurgency personnel complained of severely disorienting hallucinogenic experiences; it is my belief that the test subject was the cause of these. At 0919, I ordered my men to terminate the test subject so as not to allow the Foundation to capture him.
I do not know why the subject was ultimately unable to complete the mission. It is with deepest regret that I report the loss of a potentially extremely valuable soldier for the Insurgency’s cause.
