Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained in the mid-point of a 10 kilometre cave located north of ██████ ██████, France. SCP-XXXX is currently suspended in a large mass of crystalline substance identified to be Quartz, meaning that it is currently dormant and unconscious. Due to its anomalous properties, it is still to be considered dangerous in this state.

The area surrounding SCP-XXXX is to be routinely monitored for minor alterations in reality. Should an alteration in reality be detected, on-site Foundation agents are to respond and amnestize witnesses accordingly. Under no circumstance should any human, including Foundation personnel, come into contact with SCP-XXXX. If any organism is seen entering the cave mouth leading to SCP-XXXX, they are to be detained and/or terminated immediately. In the event of SCP-XXXX becoming active, the O5 Council are to be notified as soon as possible, and are to prepare the Foundation for a possible XK-Class scenario.

Description: SCP-XXXX is believed to be an extra-dimensional, reality-altering entity capable of causing minor to severe warps and alterations in reality. Due to this, a 10km area surrounding SCP-XXXX is routinely exposed to random alterations in reality, most typically displayed as sudden disappearances.

Due to the dormant state of SCP-XXXX, research methods are extremely limited, as the anomaly hasn't displayed any form of movement since its discovery.
