Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: To make sure nobody has access to SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a tightly sealed box at Site-45. It shall not be opened under any circumstance. Tests involving SCP-XXXX are prohibited.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an M9 Beretta firearm. It was discovered in 1994 in the Pacific Ocean by personnel and was moved to Site-45 for containment.

The SCP looks like any other standard issue M9 Beretta. Somehow not rusted, yet it spent a lot of time deep under the ocean. SCP-XXXX cannot be destroyed. The SCP contains a magazine that cannot be dropped from it and appears to be full at all times, meaning it can't run out of bullets. When SCP-XXXX is picked up, the person holding it will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 from there on.

It gives anyone in a 30m radius a hard to resist urge to pick it up. If there are multiple people in that radius they will fight to the death until the last one alive will claim the SCP. Whoever picks it up will be given a random humanoid target on Earth to murder within 2 days. The target is not predictable, but will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-2. If SCP-XXXX-2 is not killed by SCP-XXXX-1 under the 2 days, SCP-XXXX-1 will commit suicide with SCP-XXXX. If SCP-XXXX-2 died by any other means, than SCP-XXXX-1 disposes of SCP-XXXX by throwing itself and SCP-XXXX into an ocean, leading to drowning itself. If it manages to kill SCP-XXXX-2, than it will hand over the gun to the dead body of SCP-XXXX-2 and run far away and will spend its life alone sealed away from society.

No matter how skillful at firing a weapon SCP-XXXX-1 is before picking SCP-XXXX up, it will gain a big sense of knowledge as to how to use it and a good aim. SCP-XXXX-1 cannot and will resist to murder anybody else other than SCP-XXXX-2.
