SCP-XXXX background story
SCP-XXXX is Eve from the Bible, and she is the progenitor of human life.
This is revealed in a missing book from the Bible titled ‘Supplicium’ which is found amongst SCP-XXXX and designated SCP-XXXX-1.
In Supplicium, it is revealed that Eve was punished by God by being forced to give birth to humanity, and was then punished by being transformed into a horrific monster and pinned to a cross.
She was then sealed away beneath the ‘Frozen continent’ along with details of her worship and the true fate of humanity.
She grew such a resentment in her eternal prison that she both cursed the God she had once had faith in as well as the human race she had born, promising to destroy all of humanity.
Supplicium has a gradual shift away from the generic biblical tones and carries an ominous and dreadful message that even the cruelty of the God featured in the Old Testament would not carry out.
4000 years later, in the early 21st century, Eve awakened and sent out a massive energy signature that blew the charts on how large it was.
SCP personnel stationed in the Antarctic region were sent to investigate, discovering Eve in a dormant state and beginning the construction of a containment facility due to their inability to remove SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX has a large mural above its head depicting the SCP-XXXX, a human male as well as several unidentified smaller figures below them. Above all of them is the word ‘יהוה’, known more commonly as the Tetragrammaton, the name of God.
Testing of the mural and of the human remains found scattered around SCP-XXXX place the date of area as just over 4000 years old and suggests to Foundation personnel that the formation of the human race occurred at this exact spot.
For a while, everything was going fine until the Foundation became aware that actually, SCP-XXXX had been using extreme memetic control and had manipulated them.
The only people that hadn’t come under the influence of SCP-XXXX were the D-class personnel on hand who had been conducting the construction for the Foundation staff, they had no access to the scriptures of ‘Supplicium’ which itself was the medium that SCP-XXXX had permeated its memetic abilities through.
The Site Director was noticed as making strange requisitions and ordering the researchers to read through the book. "He couldn’t have just directly fed 30 D-class as it would arouse too much suspicion and get him removed from his post"
When MTF-Epsilon-22 (‘Fist of God’) entered the facility, they found SCP-XXXX dormant once again, but with 28 pairs of legs dangling from the bulbous mass at the base of the entity’s body as well as some of the D-class personnel.
Upon recovery, it was revealed by one D-class that the site director was ordering cover ups, requesting personnel in smaller numbers for different tasks, as well as other weird happenings such as ordering multiple batches of class D in low single digits as well as requesting copies of the dead sea scrolls and bibles written in the traditonal tongue. He also reported that in a last ditch effort to save their ‘mother’ they offered themselves up to SCP-XXXX.
D-class was put down shortly after.
SCP-XXXX was reclassified to Keter after this event as the Foundation still has no understanding of the memetic nature, all testing has been suspended as the scripture was reported to have said that only 30 people are required before “Supplicium is incurred on the children of Eve” with 28 having been fed
