Special Containment Procedures: As of May ██, 199█, all testing regarding SCP-3725 has been halted and the O5 Council has forbidden any and all access to the remaining instances. All of the remaining 278 instances of SCP-3725 are to be kept locked in a secure storage locker at Site-64, which is to remain guarded at all times.
SCP-3725 is to be treated as being fully capable of causing CK-Class 'Reality-Restructuring' scenarios upon activation. Those who have consumed an instance of SCP-3725 and successfully activated a reality-shift are considered catalysts of its effects and henceforth classified as SCP-3725-A designated individuals.
In the event of a containment breach resulting in an instance of SCP-3725 being consumed, the new SCP-3725-A designated individual is to be immediately apprehended by on-site security detail, restrained, and terminated either before they are able to fall asleep or before they wake up.
If an SCP-3725-A designated individual successfully activates a reality-shift before preventative measures can be taken, these individuals must give detailed reports on what their dream pertained to and all new memories associated with this dream in order to identify what was altered in the reality-shift and everything that may have been affected by it. All physical evidence of the reality-shift are considered instances of SCP-3725-B, and are to promptly be restored to how they were prior to the shift, taken into Foundation possession, or destroyed in their entirety.
Description: SCP-3725 are the contents of a 2.8 kg bulk package of █ █████ ████████™ brand 'Caramel Candy Squares' that manifested anomalous properties. As of May ██, 199█, the bag contains 278 instances of SCP-3725, approximately 37 less than the estimated 315 originally contained within the bag at the time of purchase.
Investigations into the producer of the candy as well as the store itself yielded no results as to how SCP-3725 obtained anomalous properties, however examination of the packaging revealed the phrase 'Brought to you by the Candy Maker!' printed underneath the name of the candy. This phrase looks to be written in pen as if by hand and in a color similar to the packing itself, making it hard to see at first glance. This is not found on the regular products, and investigations into this are still ongoing as the Foundation believes that a third-party is responsible for the creation of SCP-3725.
Instances of SCP-3725 are capable of causing a reality-shift of varying degrees of severity if consumed by a human being. Upon falling asleep at any point after consumption and entering the 'REM' stage of sleep, such individuals will have a dream regarding a specific experience, event, person, object, or thing that has some form of connection to them but never actually occurred or existed prior to the consumption of the instance of SCP-3725. Once the individual wakes up, SCP-3725's effects manifest instantly and reality will be altered by causing whatever the SCP-XXX-A designated individual's dream pertained to become an objective truth which they will believe to have always been the case.
Their belief will then be further backed up by extensive physical evidence coming into existence to prove this, most commonly photographs and videos. It is not thought that there are any personal factors regarding those who consume an instance of SCP-3725 that have an affect on the reality-shift, and as such seems to be an entirely random occurrence.
These changes in reality are detectable due to the fact that instances of SCP-3725 only alter the memories of the individual who consumed the instance that resulted in the shift in reality. This makes it possible for other individuals to discern the reality-shift from the original reality if it impacted previously shared memories or known established facts about the individual and their life.
Discovery: The instances of SCP-3725 were discovered on October ██, 198█ within the home of SCP-3725-A 'Richard Kelly', a 32-year-old male living in Knox County, Tennessee, and were purchased from a local ███████ grocery store. While initially investigating the house of SCP-3725-A 'Richard Kelly' after he was taken into Foundation custody following the mass reality-altering event with him acting as catalyst (See Addendum SCP-3725.1 for the full report), Agent J. Payton unwittingly consumed an instance of SCP-3725 believing it was a simple piece of candy.
Upon waking up the next day, Agent Payton was in a considerably poor mood, and after being prompted to explain why by a member of his team he reported having had a dream about his sister who passed away two years ago in a car accident. However, the agent in question, Agent I. Paulson, happened to know Agent Payton well enough to know that the agent was in fact an only child.
The confusion over this caused an extensive investigation to be carried out which resulted in locating extensive evidence pertaining to the sister's supposed existence, most notably the following:
- A birth certificate
- School records
- A car accident report in local police records
- A grave containing her corpse
- Many family pictures and home videos now containing her
All of this was uncovered among an assortment of other things that seemed to prove her existence. Despite this, Agent Payton's parents were adamant on the fact that they never had a daughter, individuals that Agent Payton claimed were his sister's friends had no memory of her, and the woman that the sister had allegedly gotten into the car accident with did not have any recollection of such an experience.
Agents were immediately dispatched to the house of SCP-3725-A 'Richard Kelly' once more in order to retrieve the package containing all remaining instances of SCP-3725 once it was determined that the consumption of the candies in question was the only connecting factor between SCP-3725-A 'Richard Kelly' and Agent Payton. The testing that followed revealed that they were indeed the cause of the shifts in reality, and they were subsequently given their SCP designation.
Addendum 3725.1: Apprehension of and Known Reality-Shifts Caused by SCP-3725-A 'Richard Kelly'
SCP-3725 was first brought to the Foundation's attention when local law enforcement in Knox County, Tennessee tipped the Foundation off to a case they were working. A local man, Richard Kelly, was admitted into █████████ Psychiatric Hospital for a sudden severe outburst of psychosis-driven delusions. As of now, the known 'delusions' that have been identified are listed below.
There are a total of twenty-four reality-shifts caused by SCP-3725-A 'Richard Kelly' that the Foundation is aware of.
- Had a twin sister that died at birth due to complications
- Was baptized into the Christian religion
- Had appendicitis at the age of six and subsequently had his appendix removed
- Had a dog named "Charlie" from the ages of eight to nineteen
- Had an older brother named "Arnold Samuel Kelly", born three years prior to him in 1954 but dying less than two months before Richard Kelly's apprehension due to a heroine overdose
- Lost his left pinkie finger in a wood shop accident in his final year of high school
- Broke his left leg in the spring of his first year of high school
- Broke his nose in a fight during his third year of high school
- Was the captain of the football team during his high school career
- Was an active member of the library club in high school
- Had to repeat his final year of high school due to a severe concussion after being hit by a car
- Took a year off after finishing high school to travel the world
- Went to University to study nursing from 1977 to 1981 and graduating with honors
- Was married to a woman named Jessica Clarke from 1978 to 1982
- Went to trade school to learn general construction from 1981 to 1983
- Went to classes to learn sign language in 1984
- Taught himself how to speak Russian after finishing school
- Adopted a pet cat in 1982 that he named Terry which died in 1987
- Was arrested for an attempted burglary in 1983
- Went on a trip to the Caribbean islands from June 8th, 1985 to June 29th, 1985
- Had his tonsils removed in 1986 due to an infection
- Had wine tasting as a hobby
- Had fencing as a hobby
- Was an avid collector of rare coins
The reason the Foundation was alerted was due to the fact that Richard Kelly's 'delusions' were not delusions at all, rather it seemed that everyone else had no memory of such things. There was extensive evidence to back all of these claims up, including:
- Hospital records
- Police reports
- School records and graduation certificates
- Photographs and videos
- Graves for his sister, brother, dog, and cat
- A large amount of mementos
He could also speak Russian fluently, could use sign language well, knew how to fence, had a coin collection in his home, and was missing a finger. Furthermore, he had vivid memories of all of these things and could recall every memory related to them with ease.
Extensive investigations and interviews with his family, friends, teachers, and supposed wife provided different results, though. His family and friends had no recollection of any of the aforementioned experiences, events, people, objects, or things, not even regarding his deceased twin sister, brother, or dog. Despite this, many family pictures included his brother and dog and there were home movies with them as well. Similarly, his high school teachers did not remember him being an athlete, being in the library club, repeating a year of school, or losing a finger, but there were records confirming that all of these things were true. None of the teachers that taught the courses he would have taken during his post-secondary schooling knew about him despite there being report cards and records of him attending. His supposed wife did not have any recollection of even knowing him, yet there were many photographs of the two together, videos of their wedding, and marriage and divorce certificates.
From the information and testimonials provided, it seemed that everyone close to Richard Kelly believed that he had a relatively bland upbringing, and while he excelled in high school he chose to enter the workforce rather than to continue with further education. Up until the day of his apprehension, he had apparently been living comfortably as the supervisor of the office which he had been working at for the past thirteen years. While he was still currently employed as the supervisor in this office, he claimed that he had only been there for just over five years, yet despite this many coworkers who had worked in the same office for over a decade backed the idea that he had been there for thirteen just as his friends and family claimed.
Considering all of this information, it was deemed very likely that Richard Kelly had altered physical reality through some unknown anomalous means due to the nature of the circumstances, or that something else connected to him had done so. Immediate action was taken in order to prevent a 'Broken Masquerade' scenario from unfolding, resulting in the destruction, expunging, or repossessing of all documents and physical evidence related to the aforementioned claims and the amnestizing of all related individuals. Richard Kelly was taken into Foundation custody in order to identify everything that had been altered, and the investigation of his residence eventually resulted in the acquisition of the remaining instances of SCP-3725 following the incident regarding SCP-3725-A 'Craig J. Payton', proving that it was a reality-altering event.
Richard Kelly was reclassified as the first SCP-3725-A designated individual, and currently remains in Foundation custody due to the fact that he may still reveal other changes in reality that could have been overlooked.
Edit: After it was decided that SCP-3725-A 'Richard Kelly' had informed the Foundation of every experience, event, person, object, or thing that was altered or came into existence as a result of his consumption of an estimated 24 instances of SCP-3725, he was given a Class E amnestic with the intentions of reintegrating him into society. However, he fell into a coma as a result of the high-level amnestic and was instead placed in ████████████ ███ Hospital in Knox County, Tennessee and a cover story was provided to account for his absence and current state.
Addendum 3725.2: Test Logs
Testing has revealed that if an individual who has consumed an instance of SCP-3725 does not successfully enter the 'REM' stage of sleep or is terminated in their sleep, no reality-shift will occur. The number of instances consumed is also a contributing factor to the outcome, as each separate instance is capable of causing a separate reality-shift. This means that if 3 instances of SCP-3725 are consumed, the individual in question will have 3 distinct dreams about 3 different things resulting in 3 separate shifts in reality.
Any alteration to the instances themselves also negates their anomalous properties, as the testing regarding consumption of a portion of an instance and consumption of a melted instance both resulted in failure.
It is also believed that while it is within the range of SCP-3725's capabilities to bring humans and animals into existence in the form of them existing in the past, it cannot cause the death of a currently living human being nor make a living being or a being with living offspring. All humans or animals brought into reality will have been dead for at least a month and do not have any children to speak of at the time of the successful activation of an instance of SCP-3725 and subsequent reality-shift.
While only recorded once, the successful activation of an instance of SCP-3725 and subsequent reality-shift resulted in the creation of Madison Alexandra Wilson as well as the complete family line and ancestry of the aforementioned individual. (See Addendum 3725.3). This was regarded as a severe CK-Class 'Reality-Restructuring' event, and the full extent of the reality-shift remains unknown. Further testing with SCP-3725 was barred by the O5 council following this incident.
Below is a complete record of tests carried out by Chief Researcher Dr. Kent Oswald and Assistant Chief Researcher Dr. Julia Sattler in order to further the Foundation's understanding of the capabilities and workings of SCP-3725. In order to effectively identify reality-shifts, all test subjects used had very strong bonds with their families and friends and were not known to keep secrets.
Test Log 3725-001
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-08029
Date of Test: November ██, 19██, 0800 hours
Objective: To determine the extent of SCP-3725's reality-altering properties.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-08029 was introduced to the test chamber and instructed to consume the instance of SCP-3725 on the table within the chamber and then lie down on the bed provided and go to sleep. The subject did as she was told, and fell asleep approximately 34 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 7 hours and 23 minutes. Once D-3725-08029 woke up, she was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-08029 and began questioning her about what she had dreamed about during the night. The subject told Dr. Sattler that she had dreamed about her old karate teacher who she had been infatuated with during her time spent learning karate throughout high school, and lamented the fact that she decided to stop taking the classes.
Upon hearing this, Dr. Sattler requested that another D-Class be brought to the chamber, preferably one with martial arts training. When the next subject, D-3725-08753, was brought in, Dr. Sattler asked D-3725-08029 to demonstrate her skills in karate with D-3725-08753, who was instructed to react defensively but not fight back. The two sparred for roughly 10 minutes, at which point Dr. Sattler declared the demonstration to be concluded and had D-3725-08753 escorted back to the holding cells while she interviewed D-3725-08029 extensively about her years in karate training. After the interview, D-3725-08029 was also escorted back to the holding cells and the test was concluded.
Findings: During the sparring match between D-3725-08029 and D-3725-08753, D-3725-08029 displayed proficiency in the art of karate and was quite knowledgeable on the subject. Despite this, during the investigations the teacher who D-3725-08029 spoke of had no recollection of ever having had her as a student, and D-3725-08029's family were adamant that she had never taken Karate lessons. However, further investigation found that there were many photographs of D-3725-08029 training at the dojo and participating in tournaments in various photo albums in her parents home, as well as boxes containing her old uniform and belts.
Judging by the results of the investigation, it was concluded that a reality-shift had taken place, with the area of interest being multiple years of karate lessons. All instances of SCP-3725-B relating to these lessons were quickly secured by the foundation and destroyed, and all individuals who had been interviewed regarding the matter had been amnestized. SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-08029' was terminated shortly after, and the effects of this instance of SCP-3725 were deemed neutralized following these countermeasures.
Test Log 3725-002
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-07171
Date of Test: December ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To further determine the extent of SCP-3725's reality-altering properties.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-07171 was introduced to the test chamber and instructed to consume the instance of SCP-3725 on the table within the chamber and then lie down on the bed provided and go to sleep. The subject did as he was told, and fell asleep approximately 15 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 9 hours and 18 minutes. Once D-3725-07171 woke up, he was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-07171 and began questioning him about what he had dreamed about during the night. The subject told Dr. Sattler that he had dreamed about a class trip to the Grand Canyon that he had gone on back in the sixth grade. Dr. Sattler asked D-3725-07171 to provide as many details regarding this trip as he could and concluded the test after all necessary information had been provided, having D-3725-07171 escorted back to the holding cells afterwards.
Findings: The results of this test were much like the first. An investigation was carried out to find evidence of this trip ever having taken place which resulted in school documents, photographs, and souvenirs being found in not only D-3725-07171's home, but in the homes of all classmates that had supposedly gone on this trip. Despite this, no one other than D-3725-07171 had any memory of participating in this trip or remembering it taking place to begin with.
These results indicated that a reality-shift had taken place, with the area of interest being a sixth grade school trip to the Grand Canyon in 19██. All instances of SCP-3725-B relating to this trip were gathered up by the Foundation and destroyed, and all individuals who had been interviewed regarding the matter had been amnestized. SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-07171' was terminated shortly after, and the effects of this instance of SCP-3725 were deemed neutralized following these countermeasures.
Test Log 3725-003
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-03235
Date of Test: December ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To determine if SCP-3725's anomalous properties manifest if the consumed instance is altered.
Test Proceedings: Prior to the start of the test, an instance of SCP-3725 had 25% of its mass removed and disposed and was then placed in the test chamber. D-3725-03235 was then introduced to the test chamber and instructed to consume the instance of SCP-3725 on the table within the chamber and then lie down on the bed provided and go to sleep. The subject did as he was told, and fell asleep approximately 37 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 7 hours and 42 minutes. Once D-3725-03235 woke up, he was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-03235 and began questioning him about what he dreamed about during the night. The subject told Dr. Sattler that he didn't really remember much of it, but reported it revolving around the idea of him being chased by a Tyrannosaurus-Rex throughout his parents house. Upon hearing this, the test was deemed complete and D-3725-03235 was escorted back to the holding cells.
Findings: It would seem that the consumption of a partial instance of SCP-3725 does not result in a reality-shift. To be certain, a small investigation into whether or not a prehistoric reptile had attacked a young boy in recent times was carried out, and confirmed this to be the case when no evidence of such an event was found.
Test Log 3725-004
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-05205
Date of Test: December ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To further determine if SCP-3725's anomalous properties manifest if the consumed instance is altered.
Test Proceedings: Prior to the start of the test, an instance of SCP-3725 was unwrapped and put underneath a heat lamp until it adopted the consistency of liquid caramel. D-3725-05205 was then introduced to the test chamber and instructed to consume the partially melted instance of SCP-3725 on the table within the chamber in it's entirety and then lie down on the bed provided and go to sleep. The subject did as she was told, and fell asleep approximately 12 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 8 hours and 7 minutes. Once D-3725-05205 woke up, she was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-05205 and began questioning her about what she dreamed about during the night. D-3725-05205 was hesitant to respond at first but eventually relented and reported dreaming about going on a school trip to a museum and then realizing after a few hours that she didn't have a shirt on, yet nobody had noticed or said anything. Dr. Sattler asked D-3725-05205 if this had actually happened, to which the confused subject replied that it had obviously never happened. Upon hearing this, the test was deemed complete and D-3725-05205 was escorted back to the holding cells.
Findings: No investigation was deemed necessary into whether or not this event actually transpired, as it is highly unlikely that no one would have alerted D-3725-05205 to their lack of clothes. This test seems to confirm that altering an instance of SCP-3725 in any way removes all anomalous properties from the object and converts it into a simple piece of caramel candy.
Test Log 3725-005
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-09994
Date of Test: February ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To determine if termination of individuals while they sleep after consuming an instance of SCP-3725 prevents the reality-altering properties from manifesting.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-09994 was introduced to the test chamber containing an instance of SCP-3725 and instructed to consume the instance on the table within the chamber and then go to sleep on the bed provided. D-3725-09994 did as instructed and fell asleep approximately 24 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 5 hours and 30 minutes before two Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 agents entered the chamber and terminated D-3725-09994 while he slept.
Findings: An extensive investigation into D-3725-09994's past was carried out and found that there was no physical evidence of an experience, event, person, object, or thing of note that the subject's family and friends were not aware of. This seems to indicate that individuals who consume an instance of SCP-3725 must wake up and become consciously aware of their dream in order for the reality-altering properties of SCP-3725 to manifest. Further testing will be conducted in order to make sure this is the case.
Test Log 3725-006
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-05860
Date of Test: February ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To further determine if termination of individuals while they sleep after consuming an instance of SCP-3725 prevents the reality-altering properties from manifesting.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-05860 was introduced to the test chamber containing an instance of SCP-3725 and instructed to consume the instance on the table within the chamber and then go to sleep on the bed provided. D-3725-05860 did as instructed and fell asleep approximately 19 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 5 hours and 30 minutes before two Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 agents entered the chamber and terminated D-3725-05860 while she slept.
Findings: The results of this test were the same as the previous test. An extensive investigation into D-3725-05860's past was carried out and again found that there was no physical evidence of any experience, event, person, object, or thing of note that the subject's family and friends were not aware of. With these results, it has been concluded that individuals who consume an instance of SCP-3725 must wake up and become consciously aware of their dream in order for the reality-altering properties of SCP-3725 to manifest.
Test Log 3725-007
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-06738
Date of Test: April ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To determine if waking up an individual who has consumed an instance of SCP-3725 before they are able to enter the 'REM' stage of sleep will prevent the reality-altering properties from manifesting.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-06738 was introduced to the test chamber containing an instance of SCP-3725 and instructed to consume the instance on the table within the chamber and then go to sleep on the bed provided. D-3725-06738 did as instructed and fell asleep approximately 42 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 60 minutes before being awakened by a loud alarm within the chamber. Once D-3725-06738 woke up and was calmed down, he was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-06738 and began questioning him about whether or not he had dreamed of anything. D-3725-06738 informed Dr. Sattler that he did not recall having any dreams, leading Dr. Sattler to deem the test to be concluded.
Findings: After a thorough investigation, no apparent change in reality was noted and it was seemingly confirmed that reality shifts-only occur if a subject who consumed an instance of SCP-3725 is able to enter the 'REM' stage of sleep and wake up after having dreamed about something. Further testing will take place in order to be certain of this.
Test Log 3725-008
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-02729
Date of Test: April ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To further determine if waking up an individual who has consumed an instance of SCP-3725 before they are able to enter the 'REM' stage of sleep will prevent the reality-altering properties from manifesting.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-02729 was introduced to the test chamber containing an instance of SCP-3725 and instructed to consume the instance on the table within the chamber and then go to sleep on the bed provided. D-3725-02729 was initially reluctant, stating that she did not like caramel, but did as instructed after further prompting. D-3725-02729 fell asleep approximately 6 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 60 minutes before being awakened by a loud alarm within the chamber. Once D-3725-02729 woke up and was calmed down, she was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-02729 and began questioning her about whether or not she had dreamed of anything. D-3725-02729 informed Dr. Sattler that she did not recall having any dreams, leading Dr. Sattler to deem the test to be concluded.
Findings: Once again investigations found no evidence of a reality-shift, proving that reality-shifts will only occur if a subject who consumed an instance of SCP-3725 is able to enter the 'REM' stage of sleep and wake up after having dreamed about something.
Test Log 3725-009
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-03071
Date of Test: August ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To confirm whether or not consuming multiple instances of SCP-3725 results in multiple reality-shifts.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-03071 was introduced to the test chamber and instructed to consume the two instances of SCP-3725 on the table within the chamber and then lie down on the bed provided and go to sleep. The subject did as he was told, and fell asleep approximately 14 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 9 hours and 54 minutes. Once D-3725-03071 woke up, he was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-03071 and began questioning him about what he had dreamed about during the night. The subject told Dr. Sattler that he had two different dreams, one in which he was back in college playing with the band that he had formed with his friends, and one about his pet turtle that he had taken care of in his youth. D-3725-03071 was reluctant to provide information on the turtle initially but eventually revealed to Dr. Sattler that his name was 'Samuel J. Turt' and that he had taken care of it from the age of six until he was nineteen, at which point it passed away due to illness.
D-3725-03071 was then questioned about his band, which he was all too eager to talk about. According to D-3725-03071, his band was called 'Mystik Monkiez' and described their music as "punk rock for the soul". He had apparently formed the band with three friends from college, ██████ █████, █████ █████████, and █████ ██████, and was certain that if they hadn't broken up after college they could have been "the next big thing". D-3725-03071 went on to describe their career history in great detail to Dr. Sattler, however eventually the interview was cut short when Dr. Sattler received an urgent summons and, while she would have loved to hear more, had to leave immediately and conclude the test.
Findings: An investigation was carried out into the subjects of both dreams, the areas of interest being the pet turtle and the band, in order to gather up all instances of SCP-3725-B. As before, none of the related individuals believed the subjects of either dream to be true. Nevertheless, while searching SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-03071's parents house agents located a reptile tank and decor as well as a small grave in the backyard with 'Samuel J. Turt' inscribed onto it. Multiple boxes containing memorabilia from SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-03071's band were also found alongside some old instruments in the garage. Strangely, investigations into the homes of ██████ █████, █████ █████████, and █████ ██████ resulted in virtually no instances of SCP-3725-B being discovered besides a few photographs.
As to be expected, these results indicated that two separate reality-shifts had taken place, confirming that the consumption of multiple instances of SCP-3725 results in multiple reality-shifts. All instances of SCP-3725-B relating to SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-03071's pet turtle and band were gathered up by the Foundation and destroyed, and all individuals who had been interviewed regarding the matter had been amnestized. SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-03071' was terminated shortly after. The effects of these instances of SCP-3725 were deemed neutralized following these countermeasures.

Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-04481
Date of Test: November ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To further determine the extent of SCP-3725's reality-altering properties.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-04481 was introduced to the test chamber and instructed to consume the instance of SCP-3725 on the table within the chamber and then lie down on the bed provided and go to sleep. The subject did as he was told, and fell asleep approximately 33 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 7 hours and 46 minutes. Once D-3725-04481 woke up, the research team noticed that he was visibly depressed and watched as he began crying moments later. This behavior continued for 17 minutes before Dr. Sattler entered the chamber of her own accord and started the interview process.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she attempted to sooth the distraught D-3725-04481 and eventually managed to calm him down. When he was in a more manageable state, Dr. Sattler attempted to uncover the reason for D-3725-04481's distress and asked him about what he had dreamed about. Although it took some time, D-3725-04481 eventually revealed that he had dreamed about his deceased girlfriend, 'Amelia Jane', who had apparently passed away last winter. Over the course of the next several hours D-3725-04481 revealed a great deal of information about the relationship, claiming that they had met and become friends when they were seven or eight years old and as they grew up they began dating and had planned to marry after graduating high school. However, Amelia Jane suddenly became very sick and was later diagnosed with leukemia which took her life just under two years later.
Dr. Sattler concluded the test after gathering up as much information as she could, and D-3725-04481 was then escorted to the medical center to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Findings: An extensive investigation was carried out following the interview and uncovered countless instances of SCP-3725-B relating to SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-04481's dream. While the supposed parents of Amelia Jane did not seem to recall ever having a child to begin with, a birth certificate and other hospital records were found and their house was filled with photographs of the family together. Many objects that would have belonged to her were also found in their attic and in their spare room which was now outfitted as a young woman's might be. SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-04481's home and parents home also contained many instances of SCP-3725-B, and the schools that Amelia Jane supposedly went to all had records of her attending.
A grave was also found containing the recently deceased corpse of Amelia Jane, and DNA testing revealed that it was a genetic match to her supposed parents. On top of all of this, a tree in the yard of the high school that Amelia Jane would have gone to with SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-04481' had their initials carved into it. These results confirmed that Amelia Jane was brought into existence through the reality-shift activated by SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-04481'.
All instances of SCP-3725-B relating to Amelia Jane and were gathered up by the Foundation and destroyed, and all individuals who had been interviewed regarding the matter had been amnestized. SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-04481' was terminated shortly after, having been allowed to visit the grave of Amelia Jane before its removal. The effects of this instance of SCP-3725 were deemed sufficiently neutralized following these countermeasures.

Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-06260
Date of Test: March ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To further determine the extent of SCP-3725's reality-altering properties.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-06260 was introduced to the test chamber and instructed to consume the instance of SCP-3725 on the table within the chamber and then lie down on the bed provided and go to sleep. The subject did as she was told, and fell asleep approximately 18 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 8 hours and 29 minutes. Once D-3725-06260 woke up, she was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-06260 and began questioning her about what she had dreamed about during the night. The subject told Dr. Sattler that she had dreamed about her parents' recent divorce and went on to talk about how she didn't understand why they couldn't just work out their issues rather than split up. After some slight prompting, D-3725-06260 told Dr. Sattler that the news came as quite a shock when she got the letter a few months back while still in prison, not having realized that things had gone so bad while she was away. Hearing this, Dr. Sattler concluded the test, believing that all necessary information had been given.
Findings: Upon investigating the supposed divorce of D-3725-06260's parents, it was found that while on paper that the two had indeed divorced and her father had moved into an apartment, the couple were still living with each other and believed that they had been robbed when they woke up to find all of the husbands things missing.
All instances of SCP-3725-B relating to the divorce were gathered up by the Foundation and destroyed after moving all of D-3725-06260's fathers things back into his home, and all individuals who had been interviewed regarding the matter had been amnestized. SCP-3725-A 'D-3725-06260' was terminated shortly after, and the effects of this instance of SCP-3725 were deemed neutralized following these countermeasures.

Addendum 3725.3: MAW-17.5.91 Incident
Below is a complete report of the CK-Class 'Reality-Restructuring' event referred to as the 'MAW-17.5.91 Incident' that occurred as a result of the twelfth test with an instance of SCP-3725, including the actions taken by the Foundation in an attempt to restore reality to its state prior to the event in question taking place. As of now, the extent of the reality-shift is still unknown and further testing with SCP-3725 has been barred by the 05 Council.
Test Log 3725-012
Personnel Overseeing Test: Dr. Kent Oswald, Dr. Julia Sattler
Object of Interest: SCP-3725
Test Subject(s): D-3725-05703
Date of Test: May ██, 19██, 2300 hours
Objective: To further determine the extent of SCP-3725's reality-altering properties.
Test Proceedings: D-3725-05703 was introduced to the test chamber and instructed to consume the instance of SCP-3725 on the table within the chamber and then lie down on the bed provided and go to sleep. The subject did as she was told, and fell asleep approximately 37 minutes after consuming the instance and slept for a total of 8 hours and 56 minutes. Once D-3725-05703 woke up, she was instructed to sit down on one of the chairs provided and wait for Dr. Sattler to initiate an interview.
Once Dr. Sattler arrived, she entered the chamber and sat down opposite to D-3725-05703 and began questioning her about what she had dreamed about during the night. The subject told Dr. Sattler that she had dreamed about a trip to Australia that she and her long time best friend, Madison Alexandra Wilson, went on seven years ago during the summer of 19██. Dr. Sattler questioned D-3725-05703 about the trip for several hours and concluded the test after all necessary information was believed to have been received.
Findings: During the investigation into this trip, many souvenirs and photographs relating to the trip were found in both D-3725-05703's parents's home and Madison Wilson's home. However, Madison Wilson had vivid memories of this trip taking place, leading researchers to believe that somehow SCP-3725's effects hadn't been activated.
Despite this, a subsequent interview with the parents of D-3725-05703 revealed that they did not remember their daughter ever going on a trip to Australia nor Madison Wilson herself even though they had many pictures of her and their daughter together in family photo albums and home videos. Upon being alerted to the situation, the Foundation entered a state of emergency and began a more thorough investigation into Madison Wilson and her family.
This investigation led to the discovery that no human being except those related by blood to Madison Wilson and her entire extended family line were aware of their existences. This seemingly indicated that the Wilson family line and ancestry were brought into existence as a result of this test, disproving the theory that the activation of an instance of SCP-3725 can't bring a living being into existence. The Foundation was quick to act and swiftly began enacting countermeasures to prevent anyone from coming into contact with members of the Wilson family line, resulting in the detainment of 43 living people related to the Wilson family line and the destruction and repossession of countless instances of SCP-3725-B.
After the initial testing and investigations, exhaustive efforts were made to wipe all records of the Wilson family line from existence. Due to the scale of this event, however, it is unclear how many instances of SCP-3725-B relating to this test are still unaccounted for. The O5 Council unanimously agreed to prohibit all further testing of SCP-3725 as a result of this incident and all remaining instances have been locked away.
In regards to the living members of the Wilson family line, referred to as SCP-3725-C, after providing as much useful information to the Foundation as possible, all members except for the 2-month-old daughter of Charlie Wilson, the brother of Madison Wilson, and the 1-year-old son of Madison Wilson were terminated by order of the O5 council in a 7-6 vote in favor of this course of action. After extensive testing revealed that the children did not seem to be anomalous in any way, they were placed in separate orphanages. The young girl was adopted on December ██, 19██, and the young boy was adopted on May ██, 19██. The Foundation continues to monitor them, however there have been no abnormalities in either child as of November ██, 20██.
As of January ██, 20██, instances of SCP-3725-B relating to SCP-3725-C are still being discovered and efforts to revert reality back to it's state prior to the 'MAW-17.5.91 Incident' continue to take place.
