Special Containment Procedures: it is yet unknown if it is possible to contain it. But it appears to follow the Ex-Agent █████ everywhere, due to unknown reasons.

Description: it is described as a humanoid wearing a purple mantel around his body, covering most of it. He has a big smile from eye to eye. And a black scar, starting from his black hair to his right eye, wich is also black. His skin is apparently as white as milk.

It was discovered by the Ex-Agent █████ in the summer of 1998. One week later, a tape from him was received by the foundation, stating

["ima… Ehh… Agent █████. the date of recording is 4/11/1998… consider this my last words, because I'm not sure if I'm gonna get outta this one."
"since I left the foundation I couldn't do anything but the same, following strange events, told by not-so-sane people. I'm currently in ██████, Montana. This man, black hair, one handed, told me of this incident with a giant beast, "likely a bear…" i thought, he didn't told me, but i could notice the fear in his words. It was apparently very well known arond this place, like it was the sasquatch of this town. So i prepared my things and went for it."
"late on the same day, i got myself into the darkests parts of the forest… I won't lie, i was distracted when i heard a sound 'round the bushes, "that maybe it" i thought, 'cause it seemed big enough to break a tree like a fucking stick. but then, the noise turned into a scream, a human scream, so i got nervous and went as fast as i could to the origin. I swear, what i saw will hunt me in my dreams forever… couldn't see well 'cause it was dark, so i used my flashlight… I could imagine what was going on, because i heard this scratching sound against flesh, but i didn't think…(sigh)… It was turned, so i couldn't see its face, but It was tall, like 10 ft, i couldn't see how thin, because a purple mantel was covering it… But the moment i use my flashlight on it, it completely stopped, like it was trying to understand what was that bright thing… But then… It slowly started to turn its face to me… I… I saw how it was eating what seemed to be a woman, but it wasn't eating with its mouth, i coud see that smile perfectly… It was eating with whatever was coming out from the darkness of its mantle… They were like sticks… I counted at least 8… Just like a fucking spider… All of them were stuck in the body of that poor woman… When i realized my position there, i tried to run as fast as i could, but there were no noise behind me… i looked back for a second and it was there, on the same place i leaved it, but the thing i will not forget… Was the smile, crossing from eye to eye… staring at me… I felt like i had a knife through my chest, though i couldn't see anything, i knew that thing did something to me… Then i ran back to the town."

"when i came back to the bar, i searched for the man, but i couldn't find him, so i talked to the bartender… i told him about the woman i saw…
He told me that he knew all the people in this town, and that he had never met a girl like that. I felt confused… I started asking myself if i had really saw that thing… "No… I know what i saw, i am not crazy!" i can't stop thinking about that smile… I know he's real… And i know he's watching me… I can never see him, But i hear him… Talking with me… Sometimes saying nonsense, others just saying: "are you sure… you saw that…?" I swear this is driving me nuts… I started recording this because he has turned more aggressive, shouting! screaming! I dont know what's next… But im sure this isn't good…"

Ex-agent █████ has been contained due to unstable mental condition. this SCP file is only made due to the small possibility of the actual existence of the item. During a research in ██████, Montana, it was stated that no such man with the description of: "black hair, one handed" has existed during the time of the events. The research indicates that a man with that description was found dead 50 years ago, killed by a bear.
The psychologist of the foundation said that this incident was no more than just an hallucination, since the description of the "thing" matches with ex-agent █████'s fear: spiders.

The state of ex-agent █████ is deplorable. He is extremely aggressive and no longer reacts to his name so he is named SCP-XXXX-A. He now resembles to an animal more than a human. He has been contained in a 20 x 20 x 10 ft cage since 4/11/20██, when he attacked the psychologist, opening his mouth as much that he took his mandible out. The cameras of the cage seemed to fail during the attack, they didn't recorded anything but the audio. A 2 second recording of the sentence: "im sorry…".
