SCP-5070

Item #: SCP-5070

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5070 must be kept in a box of pure gold. Only personnel of security clearance level 4 or higher are allowed to interact with it.

Description: SCP-5070 has the appearance of a regular tarantula, except all of it's legs are made of pure gold. It was first found by a women, who has a child with a particular interest in spiders. The child was elated, and kept it in a class case. Other members of the household said that the child was acting rather strange the next day, and started to stare ahead with an usually blank expression. He was found 3 months later, with his lungs and stomach turned into gold, and the inside filled with spider webs. The spider was still inside it's original glass case, though spots of the case was gold as well, and other parts turning black. The spider was then withdrawed, and taken to the SCP foundation. When a human touches it, after 1 day, they will begin to act emotionless for unknown reasons. After exactly three months, the person's lungs and stomach will be turned into pure gold and filled with spider webs. If not touched, the spider with immediately disappear and reappear on the person's neck, piercing the brain if the person is not wearing protection at the neck. The only way to stop from being killed is to put on a scarf or some other thing that covers the whole entire neck, and too only touch it with gold. If touched than anything other than gold, the spider seems to know who touched them, or who made someone else touch them, and the person will die instantly of a heart attack.

Note that SCP-5070 appears to hate other normal spiders no matter the breed.

Addendum: SCP-5070 was tested on and no one was able to see the difference of it from a normal spider, except that when kept in a gold container, it cannot escape for unknown reasons. It appears to be immortal, for nothing known to man can penetrate it's body. Further examinations show that it appears to be a breed of spider that extincted 28 million years ago.
