Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 30m2 enclosed pen, with access to a 1m2 coop at Site 73, and is to be provided with food, water, bedding, grooming, and medical care standard to non-anomalous members of its species. SCP-XXXX is also to be provided with two female flock mates of any chicken breed. Bedding within SCP-XXXX's coop is to be changed daily, and the coop itself is to be fully sanitized once a week, or more as determined by waste production.(Revise last sentence at some point) Behavioral changes exhibited by SCP-XXXX are to be documented and monitored.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a female chicken of the Plymouth Rock breed, twenty-three years of age, weighing 2.98kg. Typical behavior of SCP-XXXX is similar to non-anomalous members of the species, including becoming depressed when alone, and broody when eggs are laid.

SCP-XXXX's primary anomalous behavior manifests when receiving trauma that would injure or terminate normal members of SCP-XXXX's species, wherein the subject is uninjured. Subject has been observed being stepped on, having a coop collapse on top of them, and being run over by a tractor with no injuries reported on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX's secondary anomalous behavior can be observed for three days during the month of September, during which the subject will lay one egg a day, that will hatch the following day, despite no roosters being present to fertilize the eggs. SCP-XXXX's offspring, hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, 2, and 3 respectively, display no anomalous properties, and are no different from their non-anomalous counterparts.

SCP-XXXX was recovered in [Big Ol' Redacted Block], Colorado, 1997, after a local farmer reported to a local news station that he had an invincible chicken. Foundation agents arrived at the farmers home posing as news agents to interview him.

Interview Log XXXX-1

**Farmer:** Evenin' fellas. Glad to see you guys actually came!
**Agent 1:** Of course sir, this is definitely quite the story you have. So, tell us from the beginning what happened.
**Farmer:** Absolutely. I was out showing my son how to drive the tractor, figured that it being after harvesting season would be a good enough time to acquaint him with it. Anyways, we were driving down the field when my son shouted for me to stop, so I slammed the breaks. He scrambled down sayin' he saw one of our chickens in front of us. Well, I told him to get back on the tractor and reverse it, expectin' to see a pile of blood and feathers but...
**Agent 1:** But what?
**Farmer:** Well, when the wheel backed off it, imagine my surprise seeing the damn thing sit back up and run off to the flock! Like I had just scared it or something! Right after that, I ran inside and rang up the station!
**Agent 2:** Could we see the chicken in question, sir?
**Farmer:** Oh yes, yes. Of course, follow me. It's on the other end of the property.
