Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be contained within the Site 19's High Value Item Storage Facility. To access SCP-XXXX is required Security Clearance Level 4 or higher. The instances extracted from SCP-XXXX, known as SCP-XXXX-2, must be contained within Site 19's Storage Sector-117. To interact with instances of SCP-XXXX-2, science personnel must have Security Clearance Level 2 or higher.

No Personnel who committed violent crimes is allowed access to SCP-XXXX's containment chamber, in order to avoid the creation of dangerous instances of SCP-XXXX-2.

Is strictly prohibited to Personnel, who manifested depression symptoms, to interact with SCP-XXXX in order to avoid an XK-class end-of-existence scenario.

Any staff member willing to open SCP-XXXX must pass a psychological exam. Human beings must open SCP-XXXX wearing a device connected to a remote detonation system in order to prevent any incident.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a rusty toolbox of unknown brand in horrible conditions.
When SCP-XXXX is opened by a sentient being (that from now on we'll be referring to as "the Subject"), it apparently gives the Subject the object most needed by them, although they won't be able to open SCP-XXXX ever again.

SCP-XXXX-2 instances dimensions are irrelevant: the object will always be extracted from SCP-XXXX with no difficulty.

Result: 1 plastic bottle containing 1 l of water. The device was deactivated.

Experiment: XXXX-2

  • Subject: Class D-XXXX-2, condemned for killing two kids (caucasian male 1,79 m tall, 40 years old)
  • SCP-XXXX

Result: a copy of "Theory and Practice of non-violence" (Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi). The device was deactivated.

Note: After checking that this instance of SCP-XXXX-2 isn't anomalous Site 19's staff gives Class D-XXXX-2 permission to read the book. Class D XXXX-2 is observed crying in his cell. From that day Class D-XXXX-2 developed an excellent behavior.

Experiment: XXXX-3

  • Subject: Dr. Diaz (cuacasian male 1,76 m tall, 76 years old)

Result: a caucasian female 1,78 m tall 36 years old. The device was deactivated .

Note: SCP-XXXX-2 was in a heavy confusional state; she doesn't remember nor his name neither his life, even though she's able to speak 3 different languages and has apparently the preparation of someone who's specialized in biology. This could mean that SCP-XXXX is able to create people with an already set-up personality and knowledge.

Note: Dr. Diaz got terminated after making an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 flee Site 19. This SCP-XXXX-2 isn't been contained yet.

Closing Statement: From what transpired from the log, it seems that SCP-XXXX improves life and morals of individuals from a personal point of view: this could indicate sentience.

Result: A 15 months old baby. The device was deactivated.

Note: Class D-XXXX-4 asked multiple times to meet again this SCP-XXXX-2 instance. GRANTED
