Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 50cm by 50cm by 50cm lockbox made from 5cm thick steel in Site-██. The locking mechanism is to be a set of three (3) physical locks, with each key being in possession of a different director of Level 3 or higher. An additional Biometric lock requiring Level 4 Clearance or higher is to be installed on the lockbox. The Interior of the lockbox must contain a single standing bar from the immediate center with a standard steel frame u-Hook extension on which SCP-XXXX is to be hung on.
All access to SCP-XXXX requires the written and signed approval of a Staff member with Security Clearance Level 4 or higher. Testing must be overseen by the Staff member that approved access to SCP-XXXX.
Any personnel found wearing SCP-XXXX outside testing areas and procedures are to be designated SCP-XXXX-1 and terminated immediately.
The lockbox Containing SCP-XXXX is to be kept at the direct center of a 60m by 60m by 60m room
Description: SCP-XXXX was found in a flea market in the town of [REDACTED], California, USA on ██/██/████ after [DATA EXPUNGED]. The resulting death toll is estimated at ███, including the individual who was wearing SCP-XXXX at the time. The United States Government has since passed the incident as a terrorist attack from the group [REDACTED].
SCP-XXXX is what appears to be an ordinary adult-sized wireless headset, manufactured with the branding "Noise by Nate", evidently meant as either a bootleg item or a practical joke of the more popular brand 'Beats by Dre'. The Headset is constructed of a black plastic with a trim inlay of a bright red material which under testing is revealed to be a form of synthetic rubber. There are two crude carvings in the shape of a symbolic downwards triangle eye on both outer casings of the speakers, with the iris facing up. The speakers themselves are encased in a black synthetic leather material.
Testing has shown SCP-XXXX to have a regenerative ability preventing complete destruction. However, test XXXX-B revealed that only one instance of SCP-XXXX can exist at one time; after it was separated by force into three separate pieces. SCP-XXXX will always regenerate from the largest piece when broken and will start to regenerate at a rate of roughly 1cm/s after a period of about 10 minutes from initial damage. Regeneration has been described as 'Organic' in nature, with test footage showing the inner superstructure regenerating before the outer elements covering it. All other previous instances of SCP-XXXX will rapidly deteriorate and will appear to 'melt and vaporize', particle testing in the air following vaporization has shown no particles existing in the air, suggesting that SCP-XXXX re-creates itself using the very same particles from the separated parts. Destruction by incineration and other methods that result in complete destruction have been proven ineffectual.
SCP-XXXX, when worn, grants the wearer some psychic capacity. What determines how strong these manifestations of psychic power is unknown. However, this capacity grows at a steady rate over time; abilities range from telepathy to clairvoyance to psychokinesis. Test subjects report hearing whispers on initial donning of the headset, the whispers are 'incoherent and unintelligible'. After roughly 40 minutes, subjects become enamored with themselves and exhibit mind reading abilities, signs of God Complex follow shortly afterward the with a sense of hubris and power (See Addendum B). Once a second ability is displayed, subjects are to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 and continuation of testing is to be at the discretion of a Security Clearance Level 4 Overseer. SCP-XXXX-1 is to be terminated at the end of testing.
Psychic capacity will continue to evolve at a steady rate, with new abilities being discovered every 2-4 hours.
UPDATE: As of Incident-██, SPC-XXXX has shown signs of being able to contact individuals within 25 meters (See Addendum C), hinting that it may harbor some form of sentience.

Addendum B: Test XXXX-G:
Subjects are three D-Class Personnel, from here on to be referred to as D-1, D-2, and D-3.
0000: All three Subjects are escorted into a testing chamber that is 40m X 40m X 40m with SCP-XXXX placed in the center.
0010 D-2 approaches SCP-XXXX, stating 'sick beats' before picking them up. D-2 asks if they will be listening to music.
0012 D-1 and D-3 stand next to D-2, observing as D-2 equips SCP-XXXX.
0015 D-2 reports hearing incoherent whispering of what appears to be three separate individuals of unidentifiable gender and language. D-2 is instructed to not remove SCP-XXXX.

Addendum C: As of Incident-██, SCP-XXXX is reclassified as Euclid and is to have an armed guard on a 3-hour rotation. Guards are to keep a minimum distance of 30 meters from the lockbox and are only to enter the perimeter when escorting cleared staff. Any unauthorized personnel entering this perimeter is to be terminated on-sight.
