Special Containment Procedures: The subject is to be encased in a 2.5 cm glass cage with mercury on the inside. Cameras are to be facing the cage at all times. If any disturbance is caused in the mercury, the cameras are to be stopped and the room must be filled with helium. A Class-D personnel is to be sent into the room under the supervision of 2 guards. They are instructed to refill the glass with mercury. As soon as the task is completed, the Class-D is to be given amnestics. All personnel are to exit the chamber and the cameras are to be restarted.
Description: This SCP is a small sheet of paper that contains every letter of the alphabet with exactly 1 mm of spacing in between. If a person is exposed to the sheet for more than about a minute, he develops dyslexia and severe nausea. As soon as the person is taken away, he will be completely ok but will not remember the sighting. The person will not be able to read or write if he was exposed for more than about 5 minutes. If so, he must be terminated. Else he must be given therapy.
The sheet has a mind-bending effect that causes anything with letters to get mixed up. This effect spreads from one place to another. It is so minute that it becomes extremelly hard to notice. As the effect spreads, it learns to find less important words and change them. It can also learn to create good sentance structure. Thus it it is always kept in mercury so that it can not learn.
Addendum: This seems harmlesss but has led to many catastrophys such as the crash of NASA's rocket. This SCP can be used to block certain other AI that has developed too powerful such as SCP-079. But the only way to contorol it is to create a zerox and destroy the printer. Then use the copy and then burn it.
