Security Guard Mark: So…Any plans for the weekend?

Security Guard Stevenson: Gonna spend it with the kids, I have custody this weekend.

An explosion is heard nearby and alarms set off

Security Guard Mark: Shit! Lock the doors!

Security Guard Stevenson: What happened?!

//The security guard, Stevenson, rushed to the door and closed it while security guard Mark called by radio. //

Security Guard Mark: Give me a status report.

Radio voice: The Insurgency..Static…They..Static….No no no!

A shot can be heard from both the radio and the hallway.

Security Guard Stevenson: Here Lamba 66, we require backup, repeat, we require backup!

The door to the containment room ███ is blown apart, and a group of Chaos Insurgency soldiers walks in. Both security guards shoot at the intruders, bringing one down before both of them are shoot in their arms and thighs.
A Chaos Insurgency soldier looks at the security cameras in the room and shoots all of them.

The following is the recovered audio, it has been confirmed that the CI soldier that shoot the cameras was SCP-XXXX-A.

The identification of SCP-XXXX-A wasn't possible until her containment since it was wearing a mask and using a voice distorter.
When MTF forces arrived to the scene they claim to have seen Joker holding SCP-XXXX-A by her waist before being blinded shortly by a green light that enveloped both intruders. Once the light was gone, no traces of SCP-XXXX-A or Joker were found.
Security Guards Mark and Stevenson were located 1 kilometer away from SCP-914's location, inside a warehouse, the wounds of both were poorly bandaged. Both assured that Joker was grabbing a pocket watch and that such device emmited the green light, they also assured that Joker was the one who bandaged their wounds and told them "It's because of me that you have a bullet wound in the shoulder and not the head."
It is assumed by the foundation that this pocket watch is the item Joker refined.
Security Guards Mark and Stevenson received disciplinary actions for not attempting to stop the individual now known as Joker and for not taking all the possible routes of action before surrendering to their assailants.
SCP-XXXX-A has not given any information about Joker and the mask the Chaos Insurgency refined except for the facts that Joker contacted the Chaos Insurgency one day and affirmed he could give them access to some SCPs and that the refined mask is an anomalous object utilized by SCP-XXXX-A in order to fullfil her spying missions more efficiently.
Investigation is on-going.

When SCP-XXXX-B's health was considered stable it was sent home until it could go back to work. A medical exam was supposed to be carried out daily to observe its recovery and security was provided to prevent future capture attempts. SCP-XXXX-B's apartment was constantly monitored and its calls were recorded in case a GOI attempted to contact it.
The last voice recording of SCP-XXXX-B is the following.

When security entered SCP-XXXX-B's apartment, SCP-XXXX-B had disappeared. While examining the house the only items seemingly taken by SCP-XXXX-B were a wallet, a cellphone, and a wristwatch.
SCP-XXXX-B was deemed missing for 3 days before appearing inside Site 54's breakroom, it was saluting all foundation members it encountered and showed no signs of its previous wounds as well as new teeth. When MTF officers attempted to restrain SCP-XXXX-B a green light appeared from his wristwatch and disappeared in front of the MTF. Security in front of SCP-XXXX-A's cell affirms hearing SCP-XXXX-B's voice from inside the containment cell commenting "I told you it would work." when the door to the containment cell was opened both SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B were gone, for the following 25 minutes SCP-XXXX-B and SCP-XXXX-A appeared and disappeared from multiple Foundation facilities around the globe and took with them multiple SCP files and both safe and humanoid Euclid anomalies. Currently, their locations are unknown but it has been confirmed that both are currently members of The New Horizon Initiative.
It is currently theorized that despite what it may seem, the individual known as Joker and SCP-XXXX-B are two different individuals and the wristwatch used by SCP-XXXX-B during the containment breach is the refined version of The Watch used by Joker during event Nihgta-23. The reasons by which Joker provided SCP-XXXX-B with The Watch are still unknown.
The currently held theory for SCP-XXXX-B's desertion is that SCP-XXXX-A was capable of brainwashing or convince SCP-XXXX-B to join the Chaos Insurgency and steal foundation files and free SCP-XXXX-A from containment, the torture SCP-XXXX-B was made to endure was just a smokescreen to make the Foundation lower its guard when treating SCP-XXX-B.

Document XXXX/5759: O5's missive

If you are here you probably already know about the SCP-XXXX case, if you managed to become an O5 is likely you are also trustful enough to know about it. But there is more however, what you are about to see is only available for the highest and most loyal members of the Foundation, after all, right now, you are the Foundation.
SCP-XXXX-A's name is Sophia Aaliyah Kuznetsov Horváth, and she is the daughter of the man currently referred to as The Engineer.
Project MAU-78 is not only an attempt of the Chaos Insurgency to create super soldiers, it is their response to MTF TAU-5 (Samsara). Sophia is the Chaos Insurgency's ultimate weapon, a soldier capable of rivaling the SCP Foundation's best soldiers and clever and elusive enough to sneak and infiltrate any Foundation facility without being noticed. On top of all this, her multiple anomalous abilities and training make it impossible for us to erase or damage her memory or even extract information from her.
Maybe despite all the incidents that she and ECM Sebastian caused, the results are far from the worst scenario. Nonetheless, their active attempts to disrupt the Status Quo and widespread the knowledge and use of anomalous beings, entities, and technologies make them and The Horizon Initiative a threat that we can't and shall never take lightly.

Sophia: You…

O5-1: It has been a while, hasn't it Sophia? How has your father been doing?

Sophia: What do you want Calvin?

O5-1: I see that you are as nice as when you were little.

O5-1 laughs a bit

O5-1: I just wish to talk. You got yourself in quite a trouble, I'm sure the Engineer must be pulling his hairs out of his head.

Sophia remains silent, staring threateningly to O5-1

O5-1: I was hoping you would be warmer with an old friend, that a familiar face would…

Sophia: Just get to the point.

O5-1 laughs a little more.

O5-1: Some things never change, do they?.. But others…Others change in ways we can barely imagine…Like you. I remember when you were being trained, the chances of survival were minimum, to say the least, and yet you didn't flinch, never feared, you were a loyal member of the Insurgency, they trusted everything they got…On you.

Sophia: Just like they did with you. And here we are.

O5-1: I completed my mission but found a greater purpose, something greater than anything the Insurgency could ever give me. I had no choice. But you, a loyal, dedicating, outstanding member, an example of what a true member of the Insurgency should be…And yet, you just leave it all just… because.
I'm sure this isn't the first target that tells you he loves you, that is your job, after all, you charm them, seduce them, make their wildest fantasies a reality, make them succumb to your feet. So what changed?

Sophia: I found a greater purpose, just like you. I found a greater purpose, he gave me something the Insurgency could never give me and I gave him something the Foundation failed to give him as well.

O5-1: What would that be?

Sophia: Hope.

Sophia smiles lightly.

Sophia: Hope that I could be more than just a weapon, hope that things can be better. He isn't the first target that tells me it loves me, but he is the first one to actually care for me. For him I'm not a weapon, a tool, or a trophy, I'm…me and that is enough.
You are right Calvin, I was made men's greatest desire, a pretty face, coquette, kinky, and overall, easy. Men are such simple and mundane creatures, women well, we are more complex but in some cases, the trick would still do. You talk to me, flirt a bit, you make yourself a little difficult but at the end, you fall to their feet charmed by them, you become their toy for the night, they are so desperate, thrilled, and driven by desire, that they don't notice or just don't care about your intentions. And then…

Sophia hits the wall with her fist, leaving a small hole in it.

Sophia: You strike…They are so excited thinking they are the kings and queens of the world that they don't notice how you take everything from them..and they never suspect because for them you are just a toy that they can use and throw away, they play believing themselves to be the hunters when they are just little preys moving straight to your trap.
But for him…He would fall like the others…He did not want a trophy, he didn't want to be the king of the world, for him…I'm unique…I'm special but..at the same time, I'm just like anybody else…It still confuses me, how you can be ordinary and extraordinary at the same time but…For him, I'm that…He showed me that there is beauty in normal things, going to the supermarket, watching a movie, playing a videogame…I made all those things to gain his trust, to lower his guard…But I guess mine was the one let down… at the end I spent time with him not fulfill my mission, there were times I even forgot about it and just made excuses to spend a little more together.

O5-1: So you love before he treated you kindly?

Sophia: Because he treated me like a person, for him I'm nothing more or less, I'm just a person. The best person. You had someone like that, didn't you Calvin?

O5-1: That was a long time ago.

Sophia: But you know how it feels. To spend time with some, not because they will say anything exceptional or transcendental, but solely because you like the sound of their voice, the warmth of their skin.

Sophia smiles and closes her eyes.

Sophia: The brightness in their eyes…The sincerity in their smile.

Sophia stares at O5-1 with a grin.

Sophia: I could not hurt him because no matter how I tried I could not get myself to hate him…And in the end, he treated me so kindly that the only thing I could do was to return that warmth the best I could. Every day he was feeling down, angry, or demotivated…I would try to make his day better because he did the same with me, every time, without seeking anything in exchange, just…because he wanted to make me smile.

O5-1: I see…It is a heart-touching story I will admit that but…That doesn't tell why you gave yourself to the Foundation. It was also for him? You were somehow driven by raw love once more?

Sophia: I'm just here because he asked me to…We talked it through and…The Foundation and the Insurgency would find our little secret sooner or later…I don't like this place, you or your stupid overseer friends. But this was the only place they could extract that bomb and keep both of us safe..It's a sacrifice we are making to be together, right now he is doing everything in his hand to get me free, I'm sure. He is sacrificing himself for me, I can withstand being in containment and help you a while more.

O5-1: I do am impressed that he convinced of such a thing, considering your dislike ness of the Foundation. That has not changed a bit has it? But let us stop talking about your fairy tale romance, shall we? I want to offer you a deal.

Sophia: What kind of deal?

O5-1: Freedom. You see, the overseers are discussing the chances of you joining us.

Sophia:No.

O5-1: Let me finish first, please. If you accept to join us, you will be granted free movement around must areas at the facility and even outside given your non-anomalous appearance, you will be able to live with your boyfriend without the Insurgency trying to kill you.
In exchange, you help us, give us information about the Insurgency, borrow us your unique abilities, you will not be sent with the scum of Sigma-66 of course, you will be granted a MTF of your own. You will get paid and will only come to containment on rare occasions, medical exams, psychological examination, those sort of things. You said you came here because we could protect you and we will, you have my word, you will be granted the life you are seeking, your life will be yours.

Sophia: No. I would be a hypocrite if I ever accepted that deal. I could never look at him in the face if I accept a deal with the guys that make his life miserable.

O5-1: So selfless, how unusual on you. Why do you think he would get so mad? Isn't this exactly what you are looking for? I'm offering you a deal the council does not agree with, I told them I could convince you and make the best of this for all of us. I think this is exactly the scenario both of you are looking for. Protection and freedom to be together.

Sophia: You think that because you don't know him, you just read about him on reports. He would accept this deal because it would be the right thing to do not because he wants to.

O5-1: I'll give you some days to thinks about my offer, I will talk to Sebastian personally as well and since you two seem to get along so well, I'm sure he will manage to convince you.

Sophia:…I want him out.

O5-1: Excuse me?

Sophia: I want him out of the Foundation…If you want me here I want him out, I won't accept another deal.

O5-1:You've been so sympathetic with him all along, why change now? He might dislike the Foundation but has never made any attempt to leave it, wouldn't that…Hurt him?

Sophia: It would, It would surely do so but he saved me from the Insurgency, the least I can do is save him from you.
He will never ask for it and you will never see it reading reports or even talking to him, he is too nice.

Sophia giggles.

Sophia: I remember one time when he came home, all happy and smily. He kissed me, hugged and invited me to dinner…I said "Why so happy?" and he just smiled at me and said, "I helped someone today." The only reason he is taking all of this is because he actually believes he can help more people here than anywhere else…He does not care how self-destructive his work is…He just wants to help…But if my feelings for him are real…I can't let him do such a thing and leave in peace with myself…I will take him out of here either he wants it or not…Take him out..and I'm in.

In order to release ECM Sebastian from his duties amnestization is required but due to the knowledge ECM Sebastian possesses about the Chaos Insurgency and him being a key component to bargain and control Sophia the extraction of such information was considered a top priority.

Sebastian: You are gonna be like the rest and ask the why?

Gamal: No. I want to know what you want to do.

Sebastian: I love her.

Gamal: But what do you want? Sophia is here and safe, you were trialed and walked out not guilty, what now?
The council and your fellow member tag you as a fool, someone who lifes in a fantasy where loyal spies abandon their ways because of love. They call you an idiot for believing the Foundation would actually allow you to live with her.
But I don't think you are a fool, you are quite clever in fact. Everyone who works directly with you says so, they say you are among the smartest members of the committee and I must say they are right. You scored above the average on most test, graduated with some of the best grades in your college, winned excellence awards in all school years, and even more, managed to get here.
It is easy for researchers to call us idiots, they are noble prize winners and brilliant academics but, there is something no college can give, an instict a natural cleverness, the reason by which some are called to join the committee and others don't.

Sebastian: That is why the committee hired me? Because I'm clever?

Gamal: Not only that, you are not afraid to talk, you are not affraid of the powerful, you have a romantic sense of justice. The Committee is getting…"too loyal" its members don't say the crimes made by the researchers because they are so used to them its just a regular day on the job to see 5 or 7 people die or tortured. It is for the greater good after all.
The Committee hired you to have "fresher looks", to speak when noone else wanted to. And you did an excellent job. Being honest I even had an eye on you, I think you might be an excellent chairman…Or even an O5.

Sebastian: Why are you telling me this?

Gamal: Because I don't believe a guy so clever and fearless will be content with his love one being imprissoned forever. What do you want to do? What are your plans? Speak with no fear, as Chairman I have my own problems with the O5, I don't like them either. Consider me a collegue.

Sebastian:I will free her just like Adam Bright wanted to free his daughter. But I will succeed.

Gamal: Why?

Sebastian: Because I won't be a O5, I'll be chairman…It won't be a isolated case though, I will free her and all other good anomalies. The Foundation keep people like Iris and Cactusman imprissoned for the crime of existing, they made nothing wrong.

Gamal: You want them to run free?

Sebastian: I want the world to accept them, to live in peace with them..This Foundation is just like Issac Asimov's Eternity.

Gamal: Elaborate.

Sebastian: The maximum expression of human greed and selfishness. We contain them because the world isn't ready for them, hide their existence completely and stop anyone who tries to expose them or us…Humanity will never learn to accept them if we don't let them do so. Just like the Eternity, we prevent progress, keep the world static…In long term that is always bad. The Foundation must change.

Gamal: Sigh I will tell you something, containing anomalies is just the first part of our plan, eventually we will let the world know about the anomalous but it must be a evolutionary and therefore, slow process. People need to be guided in every step of the way.

Sebastian: There are two major flaws in that argument. One, the Foundation has existent for centuries and not a single anomaly has voluntarily set free, when will that part two begin? If we just wait for a right moment it will never come, we gotta make it ourselves.
Secondly and with all do respect, who said you were the ones to guide us? Who gave you the right?
The Foundation will never act, because there is always fear of the unknown, there is always more to know about this things…There will never be a "Right time". We are gonna spend more decades of perhaps centuries pretending to study this things, some of them have been here for centuries and we still don't know what they do…We won't find out in two or twenty years from now.
And that leads to a third argument, a contradiction of the Foundation's ways, the anomalous must be contained because its dangerous, people could use them for harm, like the Chaos Insurgency or the Sarkics, yet we are somehow resposable and morally superior to all them and thus WE can have anomalous entities and weapons because somehow WE will never cause harm and all harm cause will be strictly necessary…Its just a basic argument with weapons, no one should have them because I can't trust they will use them responsably, so only I will have them in order to protect others and prevent others from causing harm. How do they know I will use them resposably? They gotta trust me.
What if the council get rogue? What if we jut turn evil for whatever?

Gamal: The Committee's job is to prevent that.

Sebastian: What if we fail?…Humanity is doomed…The O5 don't free anomalies because they thrill with the idea of being all mighty, knowing and powerful…When in reality they are just like me, like all of us…They make mistakes, they have flaws…But they just pretend they don't and punish anyone who tries to prove them wrong…And that…is a tiranny.

Gamal:So in order to stop this "Tiranny" you want to show all that the world can change. That we can coexist with anomalies. Humans can barely survive with themselves, they make wars for any little thing that is different…unfortunetely selfdestruction is part of our history.

Sebastian: I doesn't have to be…We can change…Perhaps knowing that their is something so different is what we need to notice and accept all things we have in common…it would be a hard and painful process…Some will die, surely, but change can be achieved.

Gamal: And if it doesn't?

Sebastian:It will.

Gamal: I respect you mister…I sure do, your ideas and ambition are impressive but…I must say, if you think a world where its people murder each other for having a different colored skin or religion…Then…You are indeed a fool.

Sebastian: Yeah…I'm pretty sure I am…But who cares? People like you, that stand on top and think the world is good as it is always think others who want change are fools….You would be called a fool if you told a villagers of the middle age that a man will walk on the moon without magic…Caveman would call you a fool if you told them the night will be as bright as the day…And yet, here we are. It doesn't matter to be called fool.
All changes start the same way, with hope, hope thinks will change for the better…It might take minutes, days, months, years or centuries…But change arrives there are flaws and mistakes are made over and over again…But that is how learning works…The massacres impulsed by raccism makes us value equality, the murder of other religious groups makes us thankful that we can practice our believes without fear now, people protect it because they know how horrible things can truly be….As horrible as it sounds, the pain caused during changes sets the basis for its progress..So it doesn't matter if either party fills pain, it should be the least possible though…and most importantly, the reason why all that pain is endured and used to make the basis of a better world is because the hopes for a better world aren't lost, people dream of it and crave it, they fight for it…And that is beautifil…Perhaps the must beautiful thing about the nature of changes in fact.
It doesn't matter your age, your education, money or social status, the only thing actually need for a change to start is a group of fools who dare to dream.
