Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX and it’s anomalous properties are currently being studied by the Astronomical Anomalies Department. The Foundation is unable to contain SCP-XXXX due to it inhabiting space. Evidence or any of the information about the object is to be disregarded completely. A large satellite dish is to be placed outside of Lunar Area-32 to receive transmitted signals from SCP-XXXX. These signals are to be recorded digitally, and placed in a storage block at Site-[REDACTED].
If SCP-XXXX-A is seen approaching Earth, all personnel are to be evacuated into the nearest shelter.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a supernova measuring over 9.0 light years in length, appearing several light years from the Solar System. SCP-XXXX’s neutral form has been observed to be in an infinitely fixed position. However at random intervals, it will change its size, shape, form and color. SCP-XXXX can sometimes change colors to reflect it’s mood, however there are only a few reports that document this. The process will approximately take around several minutes to complete.
SCP-XXXX has been demonstrated to possess sentience, as it is capable of transmitting signals using bursts of energy. These can range from long bursts to short bursts. When SCP-XXXX becomes agitated, frustrated, or scared, it will release a large shockwave (designated SCP-XXXX-A).
SCP-XXXX-A can fatally damage, or kill any sentient being that comes into contact with it. It appears as a bright light in the shape of a large ring. The shockwave can measure up to over 10 light years, reaching towards Earth at 300 miles per hour. All attempts of stopping SCP-XXXX from producing SCP-XXXX-A have failed. Earthquakes caused by the impact of SCP-XXXX-A can last for over 3 minutes.
It is also shown that SCP-XXXX can teleport and reappear in a different location. When it does this it will leave behind parts of itself, hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-B.
