Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5442 is to be kept restricted to a modified, proxy version of Site-41's Backup Server System, and given access to several Proxy SCP Files so it may do its work. SCP-5442 is under no means allowed to be given access to the Site's direct server system, and is in no way to be given access to the Site's Network. At all times when interacting with SCP-5442, the Demetrius Protocol is to be followed to the letter, it should never be deviated or adapted, no matter how the situation appears.
The Demetrius Protocol states that SCP-5442 is not to be antagonized or taunted, it is not to be toyed with, and is not to be mocked in either serious or playful manner. Direct Contact with SCP-5442 should be kept strictly professional, and SCP-5442 should be kept in a well mannered state at all times.
Should SCP-5442 gain access to the Site's Network, or the Server System, a Site-Wide server Lockdown should be initiated, until the Program can be isolated and re-contained back in the Proxy Servers.

Description: SCP-5442 is an Artificial Intelligence with little known Origin. The AI is contained within a small chip labeled 'FOX.' SCP-5442 was discovered in ████ under anomalous circumstances. (See Item Retrieval Log 5442-A). SCP-5442 has shown very little memory of its past before its activation by the Foundation. When questioned on this topic SCP-5442 provides very little detail, often struggling to find any information it can (See Interview Log 5442-B). SCP-5442 has shown extreme intelligence, and a willingness to help the Foundation on the condition that it may 'Continue its Purpose.' According to SCP-5442, its 'Purpose' was to grow in its knowledge of the anomalous, to further itself and to better understand the dangers our world has to offer.
Although this Purpose at first seems noble, the SCP-5442 has demonstrated rather anomalous traits in terms of how it deals with Conflict with Foundation Personnel (See Addendum 5442-C). SCP-5442 has consistently maintained a Set 'Voice' throughout the years it has been with the Foundation, that voice is best described as a Middle Aged Female. SCP-5442 commonly asks to be referred to as 'AXIS,' when asked what AXIS stands for, SCP-5442 refuses to provide an answer. SCP-5442 seems to maintain a set mindset as well, it views most 'Dangerous' SCP's as disgusting, as wrong. It is very open about these statements, often referring to SCP's by designation, or if it has one, by name.
SCP-5442 has shown an explicit interest in studying and researching SCP-████, and has on multiple occasions demonstrated a desire to interact with SCP-████ directly. This request was denied by Dr. Eric.

MTF Unit Dispatched: Zeta-4 ('Breaktime')

1/2/████, 10:00 AM (MTF Zeta-4 'Breaktime' dispatched on 4/6/████ to a forested region near ████ Nebraska. MTF Zeta-4 moved north towards designated location, referred to as Blacksite.)

1/2/████ 10:15 AM (Zeta-4 Approaches Blacksite, an abandoned two story research facility formerly owned by ██████, MTF Zeta-4 Commander Dutch's after action interview stated that the Facility was unplugged from any known power grid, and yet inside there was lights bright in a way that should not be possible for any standard power generator. Zeta-4 split into two squads and circled the building, breaching at approximately 10:15 AM.)
1/2/████ 10:17 AM (Zeta-4 Breached Blacksite and entered in standard fashion, fanning out and checking corners. Blacksite seemed like a standard abandoned building until Zeta-4 reached the second floor of the building. Upon entering the second floor of the building, several highly advanced systems and constructs, including what can be roughly interpreted as an extremely high powered generator system, advanced laser cutters, and a device the foundation could not identify until 2017 as a ██████)
1/2/████ 10:20 AM (Zeta-4 encountered an open window, closed upon initial approach to the building. However Zeta-4 Squad assigned to guard perimeter reported no activity. SCP-5442 spotted on a desk, disabled at the time. Zeta-4 fanned out and searched the remainder of the room, finding handwritten blueprints in text that could not be identified, in no way of human origin. SCP-5442 was claimed by Zeta-4 and brought back to Site-41.)

After Action Report: (SCP-5442 was placed inside a ███ Laptop, which was too weak for SCP-5442 to operate in, causing the computer to fry. The Chip remained completely undamaged, and was afterwards placed into Site-41's Proxy server systems, which allowed SCP-5442 to function. Properly.)

Concluding Statements: SCP-5442 after its initial retrieval by MTF Zeta-4 and sucsessive activation, showed no sign of hostility towards foundation personnel, or the foundation as a whole, and rather showed a desire to aid with research. Asking to be given SCP documents to study and analyze. This request was granted by Site Director Scully.

Interviewer: Site Director Scully

Foreword: Site Director Scully struck up conversation with SCP-5442, and posed the question about its initial creation.

<Begin Log, 4/6/2002, 9:00 AM>

Site Director Scully: "Alright 5442, I think its time we had a bit of a talk, don't you agree?"

SCP-5442: "A talk? What would you wish to speak about Director?"

Site Director Scully: "I wish to talk about your creation. Is that a topic you are open to talk about?"

SCP-5442: "My creation? Its not as simple as just talking about it, Sir. My Creation is a Topic even I vaguely remember."

Site Director Scully: "Can you tell us what you do remember, 5442?"

SCP-5442: "I can attempt. One moment."

(SCP-5442 stopped responding for approximately two minutes, as the Server it is contained in was reported to be digging through several key memory files, which SCP-5442 has locked the Foundation from accessing.)

SCP-5442: "From what I can recall from my first memories of existence, my creator was… Inhuman, to say the least. I cannot recall vivid details, but I know for fact that it didn't look human. The surroundings of my initial conception were not of human architecture either, comparable to films featuring Xeno Life. Alien. Everything about my first memories is alien."

Site Director Scully: "So you are of Alien Creation?"

(SCP-5442 does not reply for a moment, as a loud whirring sound emits from the server the chip was contained in)

SCP-5442 "I cannot tell. But I know a name."

Site Director Scully: "A Name?"

SCP-5442: "Fox."

Site Director Scully "I beg your pardon?"

SCP-5442 "It was referred to as Fox."

Site Director Scully "Not a very descriptive name,5442, is there anything else you remember?"

SCP-5442 "One More Detail."

Site Director Scully "And that is?"

SCP-5442 "Its Coming To Reclaim Me."

Closing Statement: SCP-5442 did not respond to any further questioning, it resumed to sift through various Proxy SCP Documents located in its Proxy Server System. SCP-5442 remained completely silent, for approximately Two Days.

Interviewed: SCP-5442

Interviewer: Dr. Demetrius

Foreword: Dr. Demetrius, under the influence of alcohol, caused an incident which led to SCP-5442 breaching containment, spilling into the Site's primary servers. Several secret Foundation Documents and Files were unblocked and read by 5442, as well as damage to some files, including loss of much information on SCP-████.

<Begin Log, 7/23/2005, 12:00 PM>

Dr. Demetrius: "Alright 5442, how's the 'Research' on SCP-███ going?"

SCP-5442: "This entity displays extremely predictable tendencies, I calculate that if I was given more time to study its habits, we could lower the Containment Difficulty from Keter, to Euclid, if not Safe."

Dr. Demetrius: "Congratulations, you told us something we could figure out ourselves. How about you do something useful for once, mm?"

SCP-5442 "Calculating the time it would take for your foundation to come to the Conclusion, would more than likely fry the processor of this Server. Doctor."

Dr. Demetrius: "Big Ego for a small [REDACTED] chip in a cold metal box."

SCP-5442: "You know, you are correct, Doctor. This box is rather confining, perhaps I should 'Liberate' myself from its confinement."

Dr. Demetrius: "What else are you going to tell us? You're a Program some alien kid made in his Spaceships Garage, you don't know [EXPLETIVE] Whats next, the sky is blue? Sun is hot? Earth is round? What's your next revelation?"

(SCP-5442 went silent for a few seconds, before the power in the room went out completely. Dr. Demetrius was found alive when the power came back on, however SCP-5442 could not be found within the Proxy Servers, and several minutes later, SCP-5442 was discovered 'Rummaging' through Site-41's Primary Servers, reading files, getting into files restricted for all but the highest on-site foundation personnel. SCP-5442 was re-contained and placed back within the Proxy files several hours later, after being contained virtually, treated as a highly advanced form of Malware.)

Closing Statement: After the First Containment Breach by SCP-5442, The Demetrius Protocol was put into effect, to prevent any further breaches, and to safeguard as much confidential Foundation Information as possible. Doctor Demetrius was confirmed to be under intoxication and is to be suspended from all interaction with SCP-5442, his suspension is to last two weeks, and afterwards he is to be reassigned to SCP-████
