Special Containment Procedure

2m x 3m Hermetically sealed glass structure centred within a 5m x 5m Hermetically sealed Room.

No Furniture to be placed inside room, only equipment that is presently being used for testing purposes to be inside room. Must be removed once testing has finished.

Any tests carried out by SCP Agents must also be accompanied by 2 agents for observation and precaution.

Due to the Anomaly not needing Food or Liquid to sustain itself, there are only 2 reasons to enter the containment room.

1. Weekly room check for any damage or degradation of seals on both the room itself and the glass structure containing the Anomaly.

2. To run further tests to try to determine the exact nature of the Anomaly.

Description

Although its natural state is akin to a Grey Vapour, it is currently presenting itself as a now deceased SCP Agent.

Biological scans indicate that whilst in the agents form, it is a perfect biological replica.

The Anomaly whilst in its natural form does not produce any data from scanning/testing currently.

Does not respond to communication in either form, nor does it try to communicate in either form.

Does not need food or liquid to sustain itself and will stay dormant until a human presence is near.

Whilst there are Agents in the outer room for maintenance or testing it has been observed switching between both forms or a combination of both forms within a few seconds.

It is unknown whether it can retain multiple identities as all attempts to reach an Agent have failed thus far.

Surveillance recordings observed a one time slight movement of the lips, Linguistic Experts believe this was an attempt at a word, either Convert or Conquer.

Addendum 1

Onsite Report from Team Leader during First Contact

Upon first contact with the Anomaly, it resembled a fine cloud of Grey Vapour, it did not respond to vocal cues, nor did it seem to have any way of communication itself. There was no reaction to light or temperature change.

The first SCP Agents tasked with observing noted that once a human presence nears the Anomaly, there is a noticeable reaction.

This led to the first known "Incident".

Whilst gathering data, an SCP Agent was enveloped by the Grey Vapour, in less than a minute, the Vapour receded from the Agent.

At that time the Agent did not suffer any physical injuries, but unfortunately was pronounced dead not long after due to multiple organ failure. Further tests on the deceased agent indicate these were caused by a degradation on the cellular level.

Secondary observation teams were tasked to maintain precautionary visual contact whilst further data was gathered.

After the "Incident" the Anomaly started to transform, it had started to gain mass, there was a consistent transformation over the next 3-4 hours.

This transformation ended with the Anomaly assuming the form of the now deceased SCP Agent.

There has been no communication attempt from the Anomaly, it has however been observed to track the movements of the other SCP Agents tasked with observing and data gathering.

As this is the first recorded appearance of the Anomaly, its current and end goals are not known.

The Anomaly was contained within a 2 metre wide x 3 metre tall Hermetically sealed glass structure for transport and observation, due to the risk the Anomaly presents, it was decided to use autonomous machinery to handle construction of the containment structure.

Recommend complete isolation from population and other SCP's currently housed at Foundation sites.
