Special Containment Procedures: At all times must an electromagnetic field emitter be active in SCP-XXXX's lead-lined containment chamber. Under no circumstances is electrical equipment to come within 10 meters of SCP-XXXX, in the unforeseen event of a containment breach, internet and power must be restarted in order to prevent SCP-XXXX further access to the site's control systems.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a sentient ball of electromagnetic energy. The particular type of EM waves produced by SCP-XXXX is unknown to science and is capable of manipulating radio and microwaves as well as disrupting cognitive function. Similar to gamma radiation, the now-named 'Omicron' waves SCP-XXXX emits grows stronger with time, reaching its peak influence after approximately 2 months of being active. At this point, the Omicron waves are capable of causing fatal brain hemorrhaging after several days of exposure.

SCP-XXXX possesses the power to communicate with human beings at the subconscious level, voiceless and inaudible, those acquainted by SCP-XXXX describe the interaction as "inconceivable" and "frightening". MRI scans of D Class personnel actively communicating with SCP-XXXX consistently result in no observable change.

Addendum Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered by the Foundation nearby site 06-3 in ██████, France by Dr. Hallows and Doctor █████, under the assumption that SCP-XXXX was simply an anomalous concentration of electromagnetic energy. It was discovered via brief mental conversation that SCP-XXXX is sapient and aware of its own abilities. During initial exposure, Doctor █████ managed to activate a modified EM field generator, incapacitating SCP-XXXX.

Addendum #1: During initial containment process, an MTF unit was sent into a cave system containing high levels of Omicron radiation. Shortly after Task Force Unit, codenamed "███████", lost contact with the exploration team SCP-XXXX had transmitted images of the corpses of the group members via the base's Omicron radiation spectrograph.

Containment Breach 15/06-3: SCP-XXXX's primary form of communication seems to be via controlled electromagnetic emission resulting in translated images containing information. This method of communication resulted in a containment breach when SCP-XXXX made contact with SCP-079 and sending the access codes to site 15.

The way SCP-XXXX managed to obtain this information remains undisclosed and kept heavily secretive by the 05 council, however, the current explanation is that an electronic object or objects capable of wireless connection were brought too close to SCP-XXXX's containment chamber.

View Containment Breach 15/06-3

On October 19th, 2016 site 15 had a major containment breach resulting in the deaths of 12 scientists, 42 D class, and 23 facility guards. The cause of this containment breach appeared to be the result of SCP-079 obtaining access to the facility's control systems and releasing all contained SCPs. Upon investigation, it was discovered that SCP-XXXX was responsible for sending SCP-079 access codes that allowed for a containment breach of this scale.

How SCP-XXXX became aware of SCP-079's existence is unknown, as well as the motivation for causing the containment breach. After scanning the surrounding area for residual Omicron wave energy, a transmission was intercepted and encoded into audio format. Below is the following audio:

Once decoded the Foundation ordered immediate recontainment of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX was found in its chamber pretending to be inactive. SCP-XXXX was contained via the electromagnetic field generation without further incident.
