Description: Humanity has proven time and time again to be the most absurd phenomenon in existence. Perfectly functioning and resilient bodies each given the unlimited capability of knowledge and reason. Yeah, sure, we've come into contact with all sorts of creatures that don't make a lick of sense when it comes to their bodily functions, but not a single one has possessed any sort of unpredictability beyond that of our own. Don't believe me? We have documented hundreds of instances in which humans classified as non-anomalous were directly responsible for the creation of one or more entities, you can't just ignore that.
What kind of being can stare into the face of impending destruction, or attempt to understand reality-bending entities unfathomable to our limit of conceptualization and keep their mind intact? Our body- our metaphysical presence, is one of eternal mystery and indefinite capability, ever longing to reach an end, but no such end exists.
We do our job, and we do it well, but there's not a single doubt in my mind that we ourselves are the very thing we've been trying to combat all this time.
