The Rapid Response Team
The Rapid Response Team (RRT) is a highly elite Foundation based unit comprised of Tier one special operations personnel that are tasked with completing advanced and special mission activities that local responders, such as the Mobile Task Forces, would be unable to accomplish. All Team personnel receive additional training from their prior military activities and it can be assured that all operatives are familiar, if not highly capable, of performing and completing given tasks ranging from anomalous direct action to facility incision. The Rapid Response Team also specialize in collecting valuable assets or intelligence, counter-terrorism, black operations, and special reconnaissance.
While actively deployed, the Rapid Response Team are typically assigned as a special operations detachment to either support or spearhead a mission at hand. Operatives are consistently rotated on stand-by status, ready to act as a Quick Reaction Force (QRF), as their name suggests. However, the Rapid Response Team is only used at an expense, and that is if the mission poses at an appropriate threat level—sufficiently deemed “chaotic”. Only tackling the most dangerous tasks the Foundation can offer, operatives are trained under the motto: “there is no room for error”.
The Rapid Response Team is a small unit, consisting of a force size similar to a “Platoon” in the United States military. Team operatives are usually spread across the globe at facilities in a force size of a Task Force (roughly 4-8 operatives). Although under direct command of an O5 Council acting Director of Operations, main mission assignment is given from the Rapid Response Team Commander and Lieutenant Commander. Further down the chain of command, the Team Sergeant and Specialists, and lastly Operatives and Auxiliary personnel.
