SCP-

Item Number:
Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP- or anything that has been affected by SCP-, is to be contained in a tantalum box underground. This tantalum box goes below the ground approximately 250 ft. Above the ground, SCP- is to be covered by a tungsten ceiling so nobody trips or falls into SCP-. The tantalum box is to be surrounded by an electric censor (to prevent insects and underground creatures to not put holes in the box) and roots of various trees and ground cover. The plants are there to be tested alive every few hours and if they are not, the electric censor it to be turned off and the tantalum box is to be observed for holes or cracks beneath the ground. If anyone makes physical contact with SCP-, they're to be terminated and cautiously and agilely lifted up with a forklift made of tantalum or any other dense material, then carried to a casket made of tantalum or tungsten. SCP- is secured by an 8 foot wall made of iron and carbon. At least 2 security guards are to be on the perimeter 24/7.

Description:
SCP- is a translucent orange liquid made of Arsenic and 2 other newly discovered elements (Now named aphorium and latial.) This orange liquid is in a gap in the ground that's approximately 17/23/4 ft. In the middle of this gap, there is a small 1 foot cubic hole that descends down into the ground. Attempting to dig underground and locate this hole has resulted in failure. SCP- Can go through things that are below the density of approximately 11 grams per cubic centimeter. SCP- has very minuscule atoms that are spread apart. The arsenic in this liquid is postulated to make this liquid shut down some of the vital organs in your body, and aphorium is postulated to make you have seizures and shut down a large percent of your body. The element latial in SCP- is postulated to make it hard to congeal until it is at -562 degrees Celsius. For this reason, we can not congeal SCP- in it's current location. If you make physical contact with SCP-, it will go into your pores and flow into your nervous system, circulatory system, and respiratory system. You'll collapse and have a seizure when it makes it into these systems. This process will go on for about 5 - 8 minutes, then the systems and your body will shut down. SCP- will spread through the dirt and has spread down to approximately 200 feet, the liquid and everything the liquid is stored in, has been contained.

Discovery:
On ████/9/3, SCP- has been discovered by a person named ██████, at █████████, United States. ██████ recorded a video of him experimenting with SCP-. He dipped his hand into the liquid, then felt a sharp pain in his arm. He stumbled back, dropped the camera, then collapsed on the ground, shaking. 6 minutes after this process, he died. A day later somebody else named ████ came across the camera which luckily, wasn't affected by SCP- and reported it to the police who soon passed it over to the SCP Foundation. We got the location of SCP- and then constructed a site around it.

Addendum

Experiment :
Dr. Agrul, "4 days after locating SCP-, we noticed a dark hole descending from the middle of this pond. We decided to get a camera and throw it in the general direction of the hole. Some how, our first throw went directly into the hole. We had the recording live on a monitor and we watched what was happening. We also had a GPS on the camera, that will be relevant later in the experiment. About 15 seconds into it, the screen turned black and we couldn't see anything. there was a light on the camera so we turned it on and just saw the color orange. This is where it gets interesting. 30 minutes in, we lost the GPS signal. The GPS was in the middle of the camera and everything on the camera was working properly, so either it broke for some odd reason, or it went somewhere else. 5 minutes after that, we lost the signal, the camera didn't die or break. Since we can't locate this strange hole from underground, what if that hole leads to a whole other dimension? Everything about it connects to me."

Experiment :
Dr. Agrul, "To test if there was a cure or vaccine to prevent, we used a D-Class test subject to find out. We injected various vaccines into him, then let him into the site. This is what we found out."
D-Class enters the site.
PA System, "D-Class, step over to SCP-, then dip your hand into the liquid. If anything goes wrong, use the medicine and injections we've lent you."
D-Class approaches SCP-, dips his hand in the liquid, then immediately falls backwards.
D-Class, "SHIT FUCK! HELP! HELP!"
PA System, "Use the injections we've given you!"
D-Class injects 2 of the injections into himself, then goes into a seizure. About 2 minutes later, D-Class was dead.
Dr. Agrul, "So what we have learned is, that the liquid is more dangerous than we anticipated and that vaccines are probable to not alleviate this liquid. So essentially, nothing we can utilize.

Experiment :
Dr. Agrul, "We attempted to vacuum the liquid into this box made of tungsten and remove it from the gap. It went successful! we decided to just ship the box into the sun or something - we didn't care where but, as we we're flying it out of the atmosphere, one of the security guards said, "I looked in the gap and saw a hole. Before i could even react, a bunch of the orange substance started emerging from the hole. It didn't squirt out, it was like when you fill a cup. It slowly ascended and then stopped at the height it was before." I went back to see if that was true and sure enough, the gap was filled with the orange liquid again."

Notice :
Dr. Agrul, "The box containing the orange substance had a crack in it. The liquid dripped down deeper. Luckily we noticed because, a lot of the plants around us died. We successfully contained the affected parts, then planted various plants around the box. I wonder how that crack got there. Either way you can't just drain this liquid or even relocate it. That makes it a lot more difficult to obtain this liquid away from civilization. Security procedures have been getting more excessive."
