Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9193 must be kept in a 3x3x8 meter container made of pure iron. A single security camera along with a motion sensor (able to detect changes in distances as small as .05 millimeters) in the top right corner of the cell is to be kept on at all times and video footage is to be monitored by on-site researchers at all times. During SCP-9193's "dormant" state, no containment procedures are necessary. If any movement is observed, SCP-9193 is considered to be in its "active" state, and its container is to be heated to 500ºC using the heaters connected directly to the container until SCP-9193 ceases movement.

Description: SCP-9193 is a singular Kerry slug (Geomalacus maculosus) which emits an anomalous, extremely corrosive substance capable of dissolving almost every material it comes into contact with, regardless of molecular structure. The single material found to be resistant to this substance is pure iron, but even it will slowly degrade with increased exposure. SCP-9193 only emits the material during its "active" state. This state consists solely of SCP-9193 moving using its foot. When SCP-9193 is not moving, it is considered to be in its "dormant" state. During this state, SCP-9193 emits no heat, does not respirate, ceases any other bodily functions, and poses no threat to on-site personnel.
