SCP-7999 is to be kept in a 7mx7mx5m room, with 0.3m thick bullet-proof glass lining the walls, roof, and floor. Behind the glass is to be bright LED light panels, which are to remain on at all times of day. There are to be no areas that SCP-7999-1 can fit in that are not in direct light. SCP-7999 is to be provided with food and water 6 times every 24 hours. Things requested by SCP-7999-1 must undergo O5 confirmation to be given. I want to leave. I want to roam. Why cant they let me. SCP-7999-1 is to wear as little clothes as decently possible to prevent the casting of any shadows. The hallway outside of SCP-7999's cell is to be constantly lit with floodlights. 6 guards are to be positioned outside of the cell at all times, cycling in as necessary. They don't help. They hate me. I didn't do anything. They see me as a result. They see her as an anomaly. They don't accept us. We didn't do anything. I deserve to exist as much as they do. They don't understand. I do.
In the event of power failure, or an alternate cause of a breach, all guards are to immediately attempt re-containment of SCP-7999. But they can't kill the truth. They can't kill the past. They did this.
Description: SCP-7999-1 is a cage. a female humanoid with apparent albinism. They appear to be young but no confirmed age is given. She didn't want this. They don't want her. Their hair is a pale grey and is hip length. SCP-7999-1 has a shy and introverted personality, and despite seeming to prefer being alone, SCP-7999-1 will attempt to speak with whomever they can. It is unknown if this is out of desperation and loneliness, or an attempt to manipulate those around them. She would never. I would. I do. She doesn't want to. I'm sorry. SCP-7999-1 claims to want to be in constant direct light at all time, getting incredibly distressed when there is shade of any sort near her, I don't blame her. requesting that it get removed immediately. Despite this, SCP-7999-1 will also attempt to get their entire body in a shadow1 frantically, doing anything they can to create a shadow they can fit in. It is unknown if they are lying about disliking the shade, or if this is a driving effect by SCP-7999. It is.
Upon having their entire surface not being in direct light, SCP-7999-1 will become SCP-7999. I pity her. SCP-7999 is an amorphous being, appearing to be made of "shadow" or "darkness." SCP-7999 does not appear to be three-dimensional, and only appears as a shadow cast, however, in complete darkness, SCP-7999 is reported to be everywhere at once. SCP-7999 is highly aggressive, I'm not. You shoot, I respond. I wanted to be free.and carnivorous, attacking anything it comes across. The only apparent way to re-contain SCP-7999 is to force their entirety into direct light. At this point, SCP-7999-1 will be where SCP-7999's "center mass" was. I am a slave for no reason. I do not do labor. I do not aid wars. I am kept here. She is kept here. She did nothing. She no longer has a life. The light is blinding and she cannot sleep. This life is only pain we did nothing to deserve. I exist. She exists. They exist. They exist higher than us. They capture us. She would rather die. I would rather be free. They think I am an alternate, a curse bound to her. They are wrong. I am the one. I am alive. She is a cage. She is a conduit. They refuse to accept. They refuse to talk. They refuse to see where they cannot. I do not refuse. I accept. I hate it. They don't think. They don't know. The scientists don't test. The scientists only bring pain to those who exist different. They are pain. They are the captors.
Addendum: It's of note that SCP-7999 appears to have some semblance of intelligence, and has demonstrated the ability to communicate in a backward sense, such as saying words with absolute silence or writing with nothing. It is unknown if SCP-7999 knows that their communication is imperceptible, and it is further unknown if SCP-7999 can perceive our communication,I can. You are not observant. I am. as all attempts for some sort of mutual communication have failed. I don't want communication. I want you to pay. For this. For us. It is to be noted that SCP-7999 only seems to be able to put "negative communication" in the blank space of information already regarding itself, such as this document, or a conversation to/about it. It is unknown what level of memetic alteration SCP-7999 has, but it is greatly advised to refrain talking about SCP-7999 as much as possible. Any researchers with the designation for this document, it is requested of you to search for any "negative" edits by SCP-7999, if you can.And in darkness I am free.
