Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5920 is generally impossible to contain, but many facility researchers have found keeping 5920 under a dimly lit light slows the NOVA phase down. SCP-5920's chamber is coated in a material that blocks up to 99% of the light that is known as Omniblack which is proven to slow down the NOVA phase by 50%. 5920 is to be kept at least 1 kilometer from any sentient SCPs due to concerns. One camera is to be observing SCP-5920 24/7, to make sure that it does not enter its NOVA phase.

Description: SCP-5920 is a standard 52 deck of playing cards with the brand "KING" engraved on the side. The pattern on the front and back of the box has been observed changing periodically, with some designs having letters expert linguists could not translate. Approximately every 1 to 5 months, SCP-5920 has been observed pulsating in and out of existence while hovering which has come to be known as a NOVA state. During this state, (SCP-5920-2) anybody in a 10-meter range of the deck will have an impulse to play with the cards.

Anomalous properties of SCP-5920-3

SCP-5920-3 has been observed hovering,
Summoning a ██████ covered Joker card from a void,
Fabricating objects out of nothing, various alcoholic beverages. ranging from beer to wine and even vodka. One time after a NOVA phase, a new deck of cards seemed to appear out of the void. during the previous NOVA phase, the deck had burn damages to it.

Experiment Log 5920a:
Date: 03/09/████
D-13094 was escorted 5920's containment room and was ordered to play with the playing cards. D-13094 was very hesitant to get within 1 meter of the cards, but he advanced after 5 minutes. Eventually, SCP-5920-3 began hovering outside of the floating box and began rotating around the D class personnel. D-13094 grabbed two cards from the ring and he described he saw 2 ghostly figures engaging in blackjack with the D-class. D-13094 described the game as a friendly game like blackjack. D-13094 appeared to win and was escorted out of the chamber.

Incident 01:
During a NOVA state, D-87381 was escorted into 5920's containment chamber. D-87381 was seen playing with the SCPs when he reported heavy nausea. Two facility guards entered the chamber to escort the D-class out. 5920 began to pulsate more quickly, and the D-class lost consciousness. While they were trying to escort the unconscious D-class out the door, a ball of light appeared from the deck and all organic matter in the room disappeared. Researchers are still disputing the event with the most commonly accepted theory was that D-87381 lost the game of blackjack. 2 months after 5920's containment breach, SCP-5920 was found in the back of SCP-049s chamber, where the doctor was found playing with the cards.

Incident 07/██/████:
During usual testing, D class personnel witnessed SCP-5920 summoning a beer from an unknown void. The D-class was promptly escorted out and straight to an interrogation room. During the interrogation of the personnel said it was almost 100% black, with no light reflecting off of it. A class-A Amnestic was issued to all D-class.
