Item #: SCP-4189

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-4189 are to be kept within a metal box of dimensions 0.2m by 0.2m by 0.2m when not being used in testing. Only personnel of level 3 an above can access instances of SCP-4189.

Description: Instances of SCP-4189 have the appearence of feather quills, dating back to the early 20th century. They range from ten (10) centimeters long to fifteen (15) centimeters long. The first recorded instance was located on █/4/20██ in ██████████, UK, in a buried air-raid shelter found underneath a school field. It is noted that when a subject writes anything on the paper, within twelve (12) hours, they will be killed by whatever they wrote. Nobody else can see what killed the subject, but marks do appear on the subject's body. Note that SCP-4189 does not work with gloves, as skin contact has to be made.

Date: █/7/20██

Subject: D-17826 (Male, 23)

Results: D-17826 wrote the word "machete" on a sheet of paper with SCP-4189. After a period of seven (7) hours, severe lacerations appeared on D-17826's body. D-1786 was pronounced dead on █/7/20██ at 08:00.

Experiment 4189-2

Preface: Dr Jack Bright volunteered to be a test subject due to his immortality.

Name: Dr ██████

Subject: Dr Jack Bright

Results: Dr Jack Bright was told to write anything he wanted on the paper with SCP-4189. He was then instructed to stay in the testing chamber until the effects took place. Twelve (12) hours after Dr Bright wrote with SCP-4189, Dr Bright's body appeared to be cut in half, and chainsaw marks appeared across the floor. During cleanup, the smell of gunpowder could be smelled.

The following interview was conducted by Dr ██████ after Dr Jack Bright's conciousness transferred to a new host.

Interviewed: Dr Jack Bright
Interviewer: ██████

<Begin Log>

Dr ██████: What did you write on the paper?

Dr Jack Bright: I thought you could guess from what was left after.

Dr ██████: Was it a chainsaw cannon?
Dr Jack Bright: Of course it was a chainsaw cannon! I told you it was an effective weapon!
Dr ██████: This still doesn't mean we are giving them to our re-containment staff. Did you see anything before you were killed?
Dr Jack Bright: I saw the chainsaw connon. It was beautiful.
<End Log>

Closing Statement: Dr Jack Bright is not to be allowed access to SCP-4189, with the fear that he will burn through D-Class personnel while trying to find the perfect weapon. Testing with SCP-4189 is to be ceased, as per 05-█'s orders.
