Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX containment cell is a 5 by 5 meter cell. SCP-XXXX’s cell is to be covered in 2 inches of teflon with a pedestal in the center of the cell. A hermetically sealed jar made out of teflon is what SCP-XXXX resides in. Personal with Level-4 clearance may test SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a part of the Limacidae family (commonly known as a yellow slug). SCP-XXXX is 2 inches in length and girth. SCP-XXXX is the brightest shade of yellow in its family.
SCP-XXXX is covered in a highly acidic acid unknown to mankind, the acid that surrounds SCP-XXXX has a PH scale of -30. When testing isn’t being done on SCP-XXXX all air is to be drained out of the cell due to the nature of SCP-XXXX’s acidic body.
SCP-XXXX is not immune to damage of the acid that covers its body however SCP-XXXX has a healing factor that is great enough to heal all damage caused by the acid that secretes. SCP-XXXX is in constant pain due to the acid never killing it however when SCP-XXXX goes to sleep the corrosive acid ceases to excrete from its body. When SCP-XXXX is asleep testing may commence (See addendum 1). Due to healing factor and metabolism SCP-XXXX powerful sedatives are able to be used on SCP-XXXX. Skin samples of SCP-XXXX creates what is now known as SCP-XXXX-1 (See addendum 1). SCP-XXXX does not need to eat however eating has shown to make SCP-XXXX sleep more often, sleeping schedule lasts 2 hours once a day (See addendum 2).
Addendum 1: Testing with SCP-XXXX and D-class personnel 15/09/2004.
12:45 pm: D-class personnel was instructed to drop piece of food with sedatives injected into said food and then wait for sedatives to kick in that would last 1 hour.
12:47 pm: D-class personnel removes SCP-XXXX and takes skin sample of SCP-XXXX.
12:50 pm: D-class personnel pours 1 liter of F6HO3SSb (Magic Acid) into SCP-XXXX jar.
12:51 pm: D-class personnel reports acid has been dissolved.
1:00 pm: D-class personnel removes another skin sample of SCP-XXXX.
1:05 pm: D-class personnel inserts second skin sample in SCP-XXXX jar.
1:10 pm: D-class personnel reports additional slug in jar.
1:45 pm: D-class personnel removes SCP-XXXX-1 from jar.
1:46 pm: D-class personnel put’s SCP-XXXX back into jar and takes SCP-XXXX-1 out of containment cell. SCP-XXXX-1 is contained in separate containment cell.
1:47 pm: SCP-XXXX has not awoken.
2:00 pm: SCP-XXXX is still unconscious.
5:00 pm: SCP-XXXX has finally awoken and is now responsive.
Addendum 2: Testing with SCP-XXXX and D-class personnel 16/09/2004.
8:00 pm: D-class personnel is instructed to give SCP-XXXX a cracker and then exit containment cell.
8:05 pm: SCP-XXXX has ingested cracker.
8:10 pm: SCP-XXXX is now unconscious.
9:00 pm: SCP-XXXX is still unconscious.
12:00 am: SCP-XXXX is still unconscious.
10:00 am: SCP-XXXX is still unconscious however SCP-XXXX seems to be dreaming.
12:01 pm: SCP-XXXX is now conscious.
