Special containment procedures:
SCP-5684-1 is to be contained in a concrete cell and is to be monitored by foundation personnel at all times. Armed units are to be positioned near the containment cell.
SCP-5684-2 is to be contained within a slowly rotating concrete cell, lined with lead. Under no circumstances are cameras of any kind permitted to be used. At 9:00 pm a cleanup crew is required to enter the cell. During the clean up session, the entity will be contained within a cell identical to the original one, located below the normal cell.
Foundation personnel with level 2 clearance are to be placed inside a lab aproximately 12 meters away from the containment cell of the entity. The lab is equipped with emergency lights that will temporarily blind the personnel inside. The entity's temperature is to be monitored at all times. If the entity's temperature is exceeding 70 degrees celsius cool water will be administered to the specimin. In a situation where cool water is unable to be administered, all personnel are to activate the emergency lockdown. If necessary, the blinding lights will activate. If 5684-2's temperature drops below -10 degrees celsius all personnel are to evacuate the lab immediately.
Interviews with the entitiy will only be conducted by level 3 researchers .D-class personnel are only permitted to speak with the entity since direct communication with the entity may result in mental health conditions including: anxiety, paranoia and schizophrenia.
Subjects interviewing the entity for a prolonged time may start to develop itchy dry skin and boils, all subjects involved will be removed from the experiment and taken to a medical bay.
In the instance that the entity breaches containment, MTF personnel armed with teslas will be sent to the entity's location and they will attempt to re-contain it.
All instances of SCP-5684-2J are to be terminated. No further containment procedures are required.
SCP-5684-3 has no required containment procedures as it is contained by SCP-5684-1 however if 5684-3 manages to come to Earth, an XK-class-end-of-the-world-senario will take place.
Description (SCP-5684-1):
SCP-5684-1 appears to be a red telephone box with blacked out windows. For 19 hours a day, the door in the front of the box will remain locked on its own accord however the object remains open from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Inside of the box there are numerous buttons and a lever on the right side of the buttons. Behind the buttons, there are cogs protected by a layer of galss. Activating the lever will cause the cogs to begin rotating. The foundation has discovered that the box itself is a doorway (see test log 1) and the buttons control where the door will open to. After a certain sequence of buttons are pressed and the lever is pulled, the doors will lock then re-open. The subject will find themself in a different location, usually not on Earth. Although the test subject may be in a different world, the box will still remain at the foundation, but the door will be locked. We believe that the box was used by 5684-2 to come to Earth.
Description (SCP-5684-2):
SCP 5684-2 Is a living entity possessing humanoid features such as a human torso, human arms and a vaguely human head, although more oval in shape. The being stands at approximately 12.3 ft.
It's skin can change colour and texture to hide like a chameleon, the colours so far observed have been: Matte black, pale white and mud green.
The entity will rarely hibernate. During hibernation, its face is concealed with a layer of thick cartilage the same colour as its current skin colour. If its face is seen by another human, then they will either die from a seizure or remain frozen in time. The reason for the different deaths.
The entity produces a haemoglobin like substance. The substance contains traces of o type human blood, the metal mercury and an unknown chemical. We are unsure as to how the substance is produced.
The exposed face of the being is a source of light, that emits ultraviolet waves and gamma radiation. If a human is caught in the light there will be an accelerated rate of tumor growths and cell mutations on the victim's skin. Exposure can kill the victim in 10 minutes.
The only source of heat/cold is from the entity's face as the entity's body has no bloodflow and does not generate heat.
The entity has 12 appendages: 2 humanoid arms; 2 other arms with 4 fingers; 6 legs with suction cup like feet; 1 head and 1 long appendage located where the entity's stomach would be. It wraps around the entity's lower torso. It is unknown as to what this appendage is used for.
The entity is capable of human speech and is able to speak spanish, english and Portuguese in several different voices. We have found the reason of this to be that the entity will gain intelligence from its victims.
The being has multiple anonymous qualities. The first one is that the entity can phase through solid objects. This is the reason why the entity's cell must remain steadily rotating. The being can also manipulate objects to a degree through telekenetic means. Another anomalous property is that it can read the thoughts and speak to personnel near to it. This is done telepathicaly. If the human that the entity is speaking to is near to 5684-2 then they may develop mental health conditions, as well as boils and skin conditions. The reason for this is unknown. In extreme cases of this occurring subjects have been known to become puppets for the entity which is known as an instance of SCP-5684-2J.
SCP-5684-2 is immune to conventional weapons as solid objects can pass through it. The only means of suppressing the entity is by using high amounts of electrical charge.
Description (SCP-5684-2J):
SCP-5684-2J is an instance where an entity has become a puppet for SCP-5684-2. They will become violent and attempt to kill all living creatures other than 5684-2. Upon completing a set of commands set by 5684-2 the instances will cease to live.
Description (SCP-5684-3):
The entity is located in a barren and mountainous world with a dim yellow sun. We are unsure if the world is a planet or a separate demension. Theories suggest that the world is a future representation of Earth after the sun has burned out.
The creature is gargantuan in size however the foundation does not have an accurate depiction of how large it is as all sources of information sent through had disappeared.
The entity has several appendages, best described in the shapebof human legs. A planetary ring, and a moon orbit the creature's lower body. The creature appears to be black in colouration.
Low quality images show that silhouetted by the sun, there are patches of tentacles on the creature but all further data is non-existent.
Discovery log:
SCP-5684-1:
Found in Chile. The box was located roughly 2 miles from where SCP-5684-2 was found. It was taken back with 5684-2.
SCP 5684-2:
The entity was discovered in Chile in [REDACTED].
MTF soldiers were sent to investigate the area after high levels of radiation and deaths were reported in a nearby town. The radiation exposure caused multiple casualties, most notably of which were young children and old people.
Many villagers were found dead through observation of the entity's face. Tests indicate mass psychological trauma and damage to the nervous system. The eyes of the victims were no longer in the sockets, and it is presumed that they had melted. Those who had been paralyzed were found with 97% of the brain damaged.
MTF dicovered the entity after a period of 2 days. It was found within a cave lined with the haemoglobin like substance.
The entity was found in a state of hibernation. MTF brought the entity to site [REDACTED] where it woke from hibernation. 12 casualties were reported.

The door of the opens to reveal a desert with a pink tinted sky. Subject is instructed to walk forwards. Subject complies.
Two saquoia trees are seen approximately 131 feet away from subject. Subject is ordered to walk to the trees. Subject complies.
The first tree is observed to have red apples growing on it. Subject is ordered to take samples. > Subject complies. The second tree has an unknown fruit that appears similar to [REDACTED]. > Subject is ordered to take samples once more. Subject complies. Subject is instructed to enter

Subject is D-69420, male, 36 years of age, muscular physique, 6ft 2. Subject's background shows instances of murder/assault/abduction. Subject is co-operative in all steps of testing, however died by at the end of the log. Subject enters 5684-1 at 4:10. The door was observed to lock itself after entry of subject. Subject is met with the inside view of 5684-1. Subject is ordered to press the first button once, then the button to the left 4 times. Subject complies. The doors open to a rocky area. Subject walks approximately 4ft forwards. Suddenly, yellow light illuminates the rocky area. Subject looks up at the light source. Notably, subject's eyes begin burning although his body remains motionless. Once the burning had stopped, subject fell to the ground dead. (Subject leaps at a guard armed with a p-90. The subject is able to take the p-90, but is shot dead by a second guard. Sedation is over)

Addendum 682-E: Termination Options:
Log of event 682-E37: Dr[REDACTED] attempts to use SCP-5684-2 on 682. General[REDACTED] and Dr[REDACTED] observing.
0500: Exposure. SCP-5684-2 enters SCP-682's cell. 5684-2's back it turned to 682. 682 remains in the corner of his cell, scoping out 5684-2. 5684-2 turns to face 682. 682 appears paralyzed for 14 minutes before he regains his consciousness. 5684-2 can be heard saying 'This creature can look upon my face and survive?'. 682 lunges forward to kill 5684-2.
0700: 5684-2 claws his way out from 682's stomach. 5684-2 can bs seen clawing and punching at 682's face. 682 roars. 682's face was missing the upper jaw and 4 eyes. 682 begins to thrash around and attack 5684-2.
1200: 682's containment chamber is covered with flesh and blood. Both anomalies are unconscious from exhaustion. 682 sustained many injuries from the encounter including: broken spine, loss of tail, all four legs removed, neck broken, approximately 17 tumorous growths on body, loss of left lung, loss of liver, loss of both kidneys.
Damage sustained by 5684-2: Loss of four legs, swollen head.
682 regains consciousness.
Bright light is emmitted from all injury points sustained by 5684-2. Injuries heal.
1300: 682 is observed to say 'what are you?'. 5684-2 does not reply.
1400: The light shining from 5684-2 ceases. 5684-2 is observed to say 'You are not of this world'. 682 says 'Nor you'. 5684-2 says 'You can see my face'. 682 says 'I cannot, I cannot see anything'.
(During 0500 hours, 682's eyes had lost functionality after seeing 5684-2's face)

682 healed completely 15 hours after contact, including regaining vision. 5684-2 will no longer be used as a way to terminate 682.
