Description:
SCP-5000 is a dimensional gateway that leads to a floating island that carries a futuristic city or SCP-5000-1. The residents of SCP-5000-1 claim that the city was made in 1719, after further inspection of SCP-5000-1 the research team found no powerplants or another source of energy. When asking a resident of SCP-5000-1 where we are they respond saying "We are on Ultra Terra the home city of the █████ ██████". After the research team looked around for a bit more they found a cave with walls covered in grey crystal looking stone. When walking into the big cave researcher ████ covered he's eyes as if the room was extremely bright. When the researchers shined a flashlight at the crystal-like rocks they didn't reflect the light or show any properties that other crystals tend to show. In the middle of the cave a giant crystal showing the same properties as the crystals on the wall. Before leaving SCP-5000 a small sample of the jagged crystal wall was taken.
Experiment log 5000-01-A:
Experimentation was lead by Dr.Roberts
After the research team reached Facility-██ Dr.Roberts started examining the sample. During testing, Dr.Roberts touched the exposed wires of one of the tools to the sample and the tool got a boost in functions for a short time. While testing the possibility of the crystal having electricity-producing properties the tool used to test the watts created from the crystal shorted out.
Experiment log 5000-01-B:
Dr.Roberts connected the Crystal to an LED lightbulb and put it under video surveillance, with the plan to see how long the crystal can generate electricity.
Incident log 01-a:
After a week of experimentation on the sample, two people in armor from SCP-5000-1 broke into Facility-██ and stole the sample. During the break-in, one of the intruders was incapacitated by a Facility Guard who got a shot in between the plates of the armor on his leg. We brought the incapacitated intruder to a class one humanoid containment cell after taking off his armor.
Interview Log #1:
Interviewed:Intruder
Interviewer:Dr.Robberts
Intruder wakes up in a chair and starts struggling
Dr.Roberts: Calm down sir we just want to talk.
Intruder while looking around the room: Where am I and what happened to my armor.
Dr.Roberts: You are in an SCP facility and we took off your armor so we can talk to you. So what are you doing here and how did you even get into the facility.
Intruder: I'm here to take back the █████████ Crystal you stole.
Dr.Roberts pulls out a picture of the sample and places it on the table.
Dr.Roberts: You mean this?
Intruder: Yes
Dr.Roberts: If you don't mind me asking what is it.
Intruder: It is a Crystal that is able to generate infinite energy that we use to power Ultra Terra and all of our technology.
Dr.Roberts: So how did you even get past the security doors and most of the guards.
Intruder: If I told you, you wouldn't believe me.
Dr.Roberts: Thank you for your time.
Dr.Roberts removed the Intruder's restraints, gave back the armor and let him go.
