Special Containment Procedures:submergence in any non blue/non-transparent liquid in a solid iron casing with plastic coating and zinc to stop rust. the containers are not to be opened.
Description: SCP-7996 are an aquatic species of humanoid features.they do not have any scales .they also lack hair. like a jellyfish they have clear bodies lacking a lot of organs ,with a blue tint.it camouflages them well in water. they can move in water at recorded speeds of 20km/ph and weigh barely 8kg .adults are 2.4 feet in height. they were discovered when fishermen caught three in nets .this caused them extreme anxiety,rendering them unable to move.outside of a water body the contract to form orbs and cause distress to anyone who sees them directly . the orbs look like they are made of water,blue in color ,their outer layer of skin seems to be flowing.viewing them through a camera is safe .killing them is fairly easy.touching them is not advised . when touched,they cause a lack of energy and the personnel describes a feeling of constant wetness this causes displeasure to the personnel .this effect is currently not curable.
Addendum: due to available effective containment measures and general harmlessness . they are not captured. for testing purposes 100 have been caught.since they are found from any shore .it is known that swimmers cant reach their habitats .any fishing boats are redirected.
