Special Containment Procedures: SCP-087-J is to be kept in a completely transparent cube, dimensions 5m x 5m x 5m, suspended at no less than two (2) meters from the ground. The cube is to be made up of 28mm thick acrylic, held together by reinforced bracers at each corner. Normal utilities for human containment are to be provided. At no point should SCP-087-J be allowed to get behind any object that hinders line of sight to the object. If, at any time, the subject hinders all line of sight towards him, supervisors present at the time must notify MTF D.A.D. (Doomsday/Apocalypse Deterrence) and the cube must be lowered to 1.5 meters from the ground. The cube must also be filled completely with a non-lethal knockout agent in a gaseous state to render the subject unconcious. Supervision must be maintained at ALL TIMES.

Description: SCP-087-J, more commonly referred to as Ian, is a caucasian male, standing at a height of 5'10" with dirty blonde curly hair, blue eyes and an ass that just won't quit. In every way, SCP-087-J is a normal human. It was only found out on 26/07/████ that Ian had anomolous properties [See Interview Log 087-193-897-J]. SCP-087-J was formerly a Level 3 Scientist within Site 19's research division, known well for his minor antics and pranks. After Incident 087-193-897-J, the subject became noticeably stressed, begging for release and stating that "it was just a joke". He's taken to abusing the staff, calling them all daft and gullible.

SCP-087-J's anomolous properties are as follows: the subject appears to have the ability to open a pocket dimension, into which he can take refuge from reality. There has been no observation of this happening, nor has he ever been caught in the action. How he achieves this is completely unknown, though it is theorised that he travels to the pocket dimension in a similar way to SCP-106. Until further information is uncovered, Ian is not to be interacted with nor set free.

O5: So. Can you recall the incident please?

Ben: Oh, uh… Yeah, sure thing. Can I please get a glass of water?

O5: No. Please, recount the incident.

Ben: Oh… Well. It was lunch. Most of the staff were in the cafeteria eating and whatnot, including myself and several other research staff.

O5: That includes Doctor Ian ████████?

Ben: Yes. We were all having a good laugh at the pink socks that Pajeet was wearing when… Well…

O5: Yes?

Ben: Ian shot up and went towards where the coffee was kept. He made himself one but on the way back, one of the guys shouted over to him.

O5: Who, and what did he say?

Ben: It was Frank, and he shouted something along the lines of, "Hey Ian, reckon you can go get a pair of socks for Pajeet here?" He started chuckling too.

O5: And what was Ian's reply, Ben?

Ben: Well, he shouted back "Yep" and… Well, before our very eyes, he headed behind a bench. We couldn't see the bottom half of him because the view was blocked by it. Then he slowly started walking forward, but… down. Like he was climbing down a staircase.

O5: And this is the anomoly you and the others encountered?

Ben: Yeah. Ian seemed to think it was hilarious. Everyone else was shocked. It was like he'd created another dim-

O5: Save the theories for when you're NOT on the microphone, Ben.

Ben: Oh, of course. Anyway, he continued like this until he was completely out of view. Then just as quickly as he'd left, he came back. We reported the activity and an MTF got him. That's the incident.

O5: Interesting… Thank you Ben. You're dismissed, please return to your quarters.
