Item #: SCP-4091
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4091 is to be kept in a cylindrical room, being 20 meters in radius, and 40 meters in height. The only entrance to this room should be a trapdoor located 15 meters north from the center of the room. Trapdoor is to remain locked at all times with the exception of testing. SCP-4091 must be viewed upon sonar. At no point are personnel to look at SCP-4091 unless for testing or interviewing.
Description: SCP-4091 is a male humanoid creature with pale white scales and odd structures upon its body. These features include pitch black eyes, mandibles for its mouth, asymmetrical hands, and legs of human origin with exception to the hooves it has for feet. Despite having mandibles, it appears to only be able to speak French with no knowledge of any other languages.
The anomalous properties of this creature cause a level of fear upon looking upon it. Level of fear varies with distance to the creature. Beyond a 10 meter radius from its body, subjects within the area, despite looking at it or not, will feel a urge to move away from SCP-4091 even if they do not know its current location. If forced into a 3 meter radius from SCP-4091, subjects will do all in their power to remove themselves from the same room as SCP-4091. If no way out is found, subjects will flatten themselves against the wall until the effect wears off, in which subject will experience normal symptoms upon looking at SCP-4091. If Physical contact is made, subject will experience insanity, collapsing to the floor and scrambling away from SCP-4091 in attempt to find an exit. If no possible way out is found, subject will assume fetal position and repeat “no” every 3 seconds. Once removed from the room, subjects will ask to be “put out of their misery”.
Addendum: SCP-4091 shows no signs of violent intentions. It appears friendly and often tries to comfort subjects that experience it’s anomalous effects. However, SCP-4091 has no tolerance for anyone attempting to talk about it’s anomalous effects or the fact that it isn’t human. SCP-4091 calls itself a normal human being, despite it knowing that it is not. All personnel are to entertain this belief to prevent hostility from SCP-4091.

Closing Statement: Audio was translated shortly afterwards, All translations from French located here:
Je n'ai pas de nom Appelez-moi comme vous voulez./ I do not have a name. Call me as you want.
Je suis humain, tout comme toi./I am human, just like you.
Je suis conscient de ce que je suis et de ce que je fais. Mais vous avez commis une erreur en le mentionnant./ I am aware of what I am and what I do. But you made a mistake by mentioning it.
SCP-4091 is self-aware and very easily offended by its form and properties. Further testing will require subjects to avoid mentioning either in conversation.
