Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5799 is to be kept inside a 30 cm by 30 cm container made of stainless steel, from 10 to 25 centimeters thick. This container is to be placed within a 10 m by 10 m chamber of polonium-210 or uranium-235, with the steel box hanging on a thin wire of 4 m and 70 cm in length. The inside of the polonium/uranium chamber is to be regularly refilled with gasoline, and the lowest amount of gas inside the chamber at any given time is 350 1200 liters. SCP-5799 sends out random messages via telepathy. Repetition of a message within the same 2-hour span must be treated with caution. In the case of a containment breach, fires of all types must be lit wherever possible in the nearby vicinity, and all personnel and D-Class are to be evacuated. If not possible, foundation Task Force units must evacuate all nearby civilian populations and delay the growth of SCP-5799 as much as possible. When doing so, photon-based weapons, electric munitions, and spotlights are the ideal weaponry to be used against SCP-5199. If the situation gets worse, on-site nuclear warheads will be deployed. Recapturing SCP-5799 is only to be carried out during the daytime. SCP-5799 can be recaptured by coaxing it into a metal container.
Description: SCP-5799 appears to be a mass of an unknown substance. It is incredibly intelligent and shows a great understanding of multiple other SCP items. SCP-5799 is very uncomfortable in a well-lit environment, including other forms of light outside of visible light, such as gamma and x-rays. It even seems to decrease in physical mass when exposed. Every electronic that enters a 200 m radius is rendered useless.
SCP-5799 is particularly dangerous since it can change its shape. It can use this ability to slip through the minuscule gaps between molecules. This factor gives SCP-5199 a very competent way to breach containment. Though able to change shape, it cannot increase its size or mass without consuming biological mass.
SCP-5799 is described as 'vantablack', since every photon that contacts it is absorbed.
When sated, SCP-5799 likes to hide in a dimly lit area, preferably a corner. When in this state, SCP-5799 is reported to be rather docile. However, it can enter a rage mode. It is currently unknown what provokes SCP-5799 to rage. After reaching a critical mass, SCP-5799 enters a 'Superior' state. When this happens, a large area, varying from 1000km squared to 3500km squared possibly an infinite area is completely engulfed in darkness. At this point, the sun no longer takes effect on SCP-5799. At this point, SCP-5799 is practically unstoppable. To date, SCP-5799 has only entered 'Superior' state once, and containing it was a sheer stroke of luck.
SCP-5799 is also capable of causing an unknown substance to appear out of thin air. This substance is capable of corroding most metals and causing incapacitation of all known radioactive materials.
SCP-5799 has made 91 escape attempts so far, and 23 of them resulting in success.

3.SCP-5799 breached containment at ██:██ on ██:██:████. Before even being noticed, SCP-5199 exited rage mode and rested in a corner before being recaptured by Dr. ████, who happened to be walking by at the moment.
4.SCP-5799 breached containment at ██:██ on ██:██:████but accidentally ran into a torch mounted on a wall of the facility. Agent ███ and Agent █████ brought SCP-5799 back to its containment chamber.
5.Dr. ████ left the containment door open during a toilet break. SCP-5799 escaped during this period but was quickly recaptured.
6.SCP-5799 breached containment at ██:██ on ██:██:████. Multiple personnel were consumed. SCP-5799 proceeded to attack Agent ███████. Agent ███████ fired at SCP-5799 with a flamethrower at point-blank range, subduing SCP-5799.

Addendum 5799-C: Termination testing log after Incident Dark:
Termination Test 1:
Item: 1 liter of antimatter.
Test Record: The antimatter was inserted into SCP-5799's container. SCP-5799 absorbed it with no effect whatsoever.
Termination Test 2:
Item: A laser cannon with 'the destructive power of a nuke concentrated into one beam'. Retrieved from SCP-914
Test Record: The cannon was fired. The laser persisted for 3 seconds before it ceased. All radiation from the beam had been absorbed by SCP-5799, which was now only slightly over a millimeter in diameter.
Termination Test 3:
Item: Large Hadron Collider
Test Record: SCP-5799 was placed in the tube of the particle accelerator. Two protons were ejected from both ends of the accelerator at light speed. When the particles collided, a 'Quark-Gluon Plasma' formed. For a few microseconds, the surrounding area was lit to 4 trillion degrees. SCP-5799 was later found, having been reduced to only three nanometers wide.
