Special containment procedures: SCP-5237 instances are to be kept inside a rich-mahogany 2m x 2m x 2m box. No contact is to be made at any point with SCP-5237 and they should never leave their box.
Description: SCP-5237 is a colony of 5 worms that were discovered on ██/██/2011 and is assumed to have first been encountered on █/█/19██ in █████ Russia. a meteorite was said to have hit 5 weeks earlier on █/█/19██ in which no anomalous activity was detected. five (5) weeks later a colony of eleven (11) instances of SCP-5237 were recorded to have slithered out. "These worms looked electronic and alien" said an eyewitness before being terminated by Sgt ███ of ██th platoon.
(This report was later proved false from CCTV footage provided █████ bakery. The remaining colony of five (5) worms are organic-looking, orange, fleshy beings. The entities represent orange 2ft-5ft (24in-60in) Lumbricina (earthworms). DR.████████, after realising these species are capable of reproduction, named them Lumbricina amplus.
Additional information: while eleven (11) subjects were originally discovered, only seven (7) entered foundation Containment. Of the (5) remaining in foundation containment, the longest (perfectly 5ft long) acts as the leader and the others seem to obey it's commands. this reinforces the speculation that they work as a hive-mind, This instance is capable of advanced speech in Spanish, English, Russian and an unknown dialect and is the only specimen that can communicate.
The four (4) subjects that Never entered foundation custody are believed to be inhabiting an unknown area in belarus, The two (2) instances of SCP-5237 that entered foundation custody but are no longer there were used in research activities in which little progress was made.
