SCP-4928
Item #: SCP-4928
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-4928, it cannot be contained within any facility and no containment can be built around it. Efforts to contain the location of SCP-4928 were met with heavy resistance, and as such no more noticeable containment methods are to be employed (See Addendum 4928-01). All travel in and out of █████ must be monitored. If an instance of SCP-4928-1 leaves the village, any nearby active MTF units should consider this a containment breach and respond accordingly. People under the age of 15 and pregnant women should not be allowed to meet any instances of SCP-4928-1 under any circumstances. People under the age of 15 and pregnant women must not be allowed to visit █████ under any circumstances. Should this occur, the family of said person must be relocated to █████ and amnestics must be administered before they become an instance of SCP-4928-1. If SCP-4928 has manifested before amnestics are delivered, subject and it's family must be terminated immediately to protect information of the foundation getting to SCP-4928-1. Record of SCP-4928 should not be contained within the memories of foundation personnel who have visited █████ or interacted with SCP-4928. Should foundation personnel report seeing SCP-4928, or if they are discovered to be an instance of SCP-4928-1, they should be immediately terminated.
Description: SCP-4928 is a featureless humanoid with grey skin. SCP-4928 is referred to as "Mr. Tuph" by instances of SCP-4928-1. SCP-4928 was first believed to be an entity visible only to SCP-4928-1 due to it's nature. Only one instance of SCP-4928 is known to exist. It is believed that SCP-4928 is able to instantaneously travel to any instance of SCP-4928-1. SCP-4928 is able to contact SCP-4928-1 telepathically when they are asleep. SCP-4928-1 has full information on the foundation at clearance level 1, due to Incident 4928-005.
SCP-4928-1 is any regular human who can percieve SCP-4928. The population of SCP-4928-1 is believed to be 19. SCP-4928 was believed to only be able to manifest within children, but has been known to manifest in foundation personnel (See Incident Log 4928-005 for more information). There are no known ways to "cure" SCP-4928-1. Amnestics administered to SCP-4928-1 are effective, however, SCP-4928 will know everything the subject knew. SCP-4928 is able to inform other instances of SCP-4928-1 as well as the initial subject. Child instances of SCP-4928 are noted to score far higher in intelligence tests than what is typical for their age. They are also emotionally mature, and have healthy lifestyles. These are all considered to be causes of SCP-4928's influence (See Interview Log 4928-██-██). Once SCP-4928 manifests within a person, immediate termination seems to stop SCP-4928 from discovering the memories of SCP-4928-1. Since SCP-4928 has only manifested in children and researchers, SCP-4928's ability to read the mind of its host is poorly understood. SCP-4928 can manifest within anyone near an instance of SCP-4928-1. Any personnel who visit █████ and are recognised are violently attacked by the local children. Their caretakers do not find this to be out of the ordinary.
It is believed that adults in █████ who were previously instances of SCP-4928-1 are no longer affected by the entity. This information is not supported by previous incidents with site personnel, but has not yet been proven to be false.
SCP-4928 was discovered when a "cult of children" was reported by a family who had recently moved into █████. Foundation operatives took over the following investigation of the town and administered amnestics to all non-personnel involved.
As far as the foundation understands, all humans below the age of 15 living in █████ are instances of SCP-4928-1, as well as any who have ever visited █████.
Interviewed: SCP-4928-1-C (from here onwards referred to as 1-C), female, aged 14. SCP-4928-1-F, male, aged 14
Interviewer: Doctor ██████, Doctor ███, with Head Researcher ██████ coordinating the doctors.
Foreword: Interview with 4928-1-C, conducted by Doctor ██████. A simultaneous interview with conducted with 4928-1-F and Doctor ███. A one-way window allows 4928-1-C to see 4928-1-F. This interview began 10 minutes later than the interview with 4928-1-C and was conducted at Site ██. Both subjects and their families had been told they were at a facility to investigate their high IQ. Both subjects had no contact during their time at Site ██.

Interviewer: Hello, ████. How are you finding your stay?
4928-1-C: Mr. Tuph doesn't like it here. He's worried about me and ████.
Interviewer: Who is Mr. Tuph?
4928-1-C: He's everyone's best friend! He helps us at school, and visits us before bed. He talks to us while we sleep.
Interviewer: Why doesn't he like this place?
4928-1-C: He says he doesn't trust you.
Interviewer: He doesn't trust me? Is he here?
Subject is unresponsive for 30 seconds.Interviewer: ████?
4928-1-C: Mr. Tuph is listening to your friend talk to ████.Subject points and looks to the one-way window where the other interview is taking place. SCP-4928-1-F stops responding to the interviewer for 3 seconds. He then turns and waves to the one-way glass, before becoming responsive again.
Interviewer: Can he hear us?
4928-1-C: Of course he can!
Interviewer: I don't see another person inside. Can you describe him to me?
4928-1-C: He doesn't like it when we tell adults too much about him. We have to keep his secret safe.
Interviewer: Did he come on the bus with you?4928-1-C: No.
Interviewer: Do you know how he got here?
4928-1-C: [unintelligible]
Interviewer: Please speak up so I can hear you.
4928-1-C: Why am I here?
Interviewer: So we can study your high intelligence.
4928-1-C: He said you're lying to me.
Interviewer: I wouldn't lie to you, I'm here to help you get the most out of your talents.
4928-1-C: I'm not supposed to talk to strangers.
All contact with subject led to the same response as their final statement. 4928-1-F became unresponsive in the same way at the same time.

Closing Statement: All attempts at contact with child instances of 4928-1 are now met with the response "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers."
Incident Log 4928-005: On June 5th, ████, foundation personnel disguised as government construction workers were dispatched to build a wall with one exit around the village, to "prevent natural disasters, namely █████". The real purpose of this was to ensure SCP-4928-1 instances were not able to spread SCP-4928 to other communities. They were accompanied by Field Researcher █████, and two plainclothes MTF guards with concealed weapons. After informing the mayor of the village, approximately 4 hours passed before construction began. All foundation personnel stayed within the town. 7 hours of construction work proceeded as planned. Field Researcher █████ then reported feeling unsafe and requested a 9mm pistol from one of the MTF guards. 20 minutes later, all foundation cameras were forcibly shut down. A containment breach was assumed and MTF Unit ███ found that all construction workers and MTF guards situated at the village had been shot with 9mm bullets. They had multiple bite marks and bruises. Field Researcher █████ was missing for 2 days before he was discovered living as a resident in the town. He was taken in for questioning and told the foundation he was not meant to talk to strangers. Amnestics were administered and after 4 hours in custody, it seemed that his memories had returned. He was not responsive during this time. Field Researcher █████ was terminated shortly after this incident. Since the incident, SCP-4928-1 instances have become hostile to foundation personnel and have shown to have clearance level 1 information (the same as Field Researcher █████)
Addendum: Due to the incident, foundation personnel have to act covertly to uphold containment. Termination of SCP-4928-1 instances is unfavourable but necessary, as SCP-4928 is now aware of the foundation and its spread could put the foundation at risk. Any personnel required to terminate an instance of SCP-4928-1 are offered amnestics.
